Safety
Ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety instructions and warnings before use. Failure to heed
these instructions may result in property damage and/or personal injury.
•NEVER exceed the maximum load capacity of 500kg (1100lb).
•The tool is for domestic use only.
•Do NOT use the tool for any purpose it is not designed to perform.
•Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area when the tool is in use.
•Wear ANSI approved safety goggles, suitable protective gloves and steel-capped safety boots when
operating the equipment.
•Only use the equipment on stable, flat and level surfaces.
•Keep the platform clean and dry.
•Do NOT work under the platform. Keep hands and body parts away from the table when it is elevated.
•Do NOT allow untrained persons to operate the equipment.
•Do NOT make any modifications to equipment.
•Do NOT expose the lift to moisture.
•ALWAYS check the lift before use.
•ALWAYS raise and lower the platform slowly and steadily.
•Where possible, secure the vehicle to prevent it tilting or falling.
•Do NOT work under a lifted vehicle.
•Before each use check all parts. If any part of the tool is damaged or suspect, do NOT use the
equipment –have it inspected by an authorised service centre.
•Always ensure that the tool is correctly and appropriately used.
•Do NOT modify the tool in any way. Doing so may damage the tool or render it as unusable and will void
any warranty.
•Apply common-sense and keep safety a priority when using the tool. Any damage to property or
personal injury is the responsibility of the operator.

Operation
1. Place the tool in the desired position (generally, underneath the vehicle). Note that the base has
mounting holes for permanent attachment the floor using suitable fasteners (not included).
2. Adjust the position of the stirrups (A) so that they are aligned with a suitable part of the vehicle for
jacking (for example, lower frame tubes or engine). The stirrups can be moved along the platform –lock
the stirrups in position using the bolts on either side of the stirrup. The top part of the stirrups can be
rotated and can also be adjusted in height.
3. Place the spanner (B) on the jacking screw (C) and rotate to raise / lower the platform –rotate right
(clockwise) to raise; rotate left (anti-clockwise) to lower. Lift the vehicle slowly and steadily. It is
recommended to secure the vehicle, if possible.
When finished, slowly and steadily lower the platform until the tool can be safely removed from under the
vehicle.

Care and Maintenance
•Store the tool in the lowest position, in a dry location, and out of the reach of children.
•Keep the tool clean and remove any oil or grease, dirt etc from the platform after each use.
•Regularly lubricate the pivot points with oil and apply grease to the jacking screw.
