Standard guarantee conditions
We,TricityBendix,undertakethatifwithin 12 months
ofthedateofthepurchasethisTricityBendixappliance
oranypart thereofisproved to be defective byreason
onlyof faultworkmanship or materials,wewill,atour
option repairor replacethe sameFREE OFCHARGE
forlabour,materialsorcarriage on condition that:
Theappliancehasbeencorrectlyinstalledandused
onlyontheelectricitysupplystatedontherating
plate.
Theappliancehasbeenusedfornormaldomestic
purposesonly,and in accordancewiththe manu-
facturer’sinstructions.
Theappliancehasnotbeenserviced,maintained
repared, taken apartortampered with anyperson
notauthorised byus.
Allserviceworkunderthisguaranteemustbe
undertakenbyanTricityBendixServiceForceCen-
tre.
Anyapplianceordefectivepartreplacedshall
becometoCompany’sproperty.
Thisguaranteeisinadditiontoyourstatutoryand
otherlegalrights.
Homevisitsaremade between 8.30 amand 5.30 pm
MondaytoFriday.Visitsmaybe available outside
these hoursinwhichcase a premiumwill be charged.
Exclusions
Thisguarantee does notcover:
Damageorcallsresultingfromtransportation,
improperuse orneglect, the replacementofany
lightbulbsor removable partsofglass orplastic.
Coastsincurredforcallstoputrightanappliance
whichisimproperlyinstalled orcallsto appliances
outside the United Kingdom.
Appliancesfoundtobeinusewithinacommercial
environment,plusthosewhicharesubjectedtoren-
talagreements.
ProductsofTricityBendixmanufacturewhichare
notmarketed by TricityBendix.
EuropeanGuarantee
If you shouldmoveto anothercountrywithinEurope
thenyourguaranteemoveswithyoutoyournewhome
subject tothe following qualifications:
Theguaranteestartsfromthedateyoufirstpurcha-
sed yourproduct.
Theguaranteeisforthesameperiodandtothe
same extent forlabourand partsasexistsinthe
newcountryofuseforthisbrand or range ofpro-
ducts.
Thisguaranteerelatestoyouandcannotbetrans-
ferred to anotheruser.
YournewhomeiswithintheEuropeancommunity
(EC)orEuropean Free Trade Area.
Theproductisinstalledandusedinaccordance
with ourinstructionsand isonlyused domestically,
i.e.a normalhousehold.
Theproductisinstalledtakingintoaccountregula-
tionsinyournewcountry.
Beforeyou move pleasecontactyournearestCusto-
merCareCentre,listed below, to givethemdetailsof
yournewhome.Theywill then ensurethat the local
ServiceOrganisation isaware ofyour move and able
tolookafteryourappliances.
