INSTRUCTIONS (ENGLISH)
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this TrickleStarTM product. This product
provides enhanced controls to reduce wasteful energy
consumption of dehumidifying, humidifying and heating
appliances, which do not include humidity controls. This product is
suitable for the control of devices such as dehumidifiers,
humidifiers and electrical heaters.
LCD Display
Factory Default Setting
The factory default settings are:
Dehumidify Mode and a humidity “SET POINT” of 40%.
Status Indication
Application / Installation
Plug the product into a wall outlet and plug an appliance to be
controlled into the Control Socket.
Select Dehumidify / Humidify Mode
To switch between Dehumidify and Humidify Modes, switch the
product OFF using the Button.
Press the button and button simultaneously for 3 seconds to
switch between Dehumidify and Humidify Mode.
Dehumidifying Mode Setup
1. Select Dehumidify Mode.
2. Press button to switch product ON.
3. Press or button to adjust to the required humidity Set-
point.
Dehumidifying Mode Operation
When room humidity is higher than the Target Set-point
, the Status Indicator will illuminate GREEN and the Control
Socket will switch ON within 3 min.
When room humidity is lower than the Target Set-point ,
the Status Indicator will illuminate RED and the Control Socket will
switch OFF within 3 minutes.
Humidifying Mode Setup
1. Select Humidify Mode.
2. Press button to switch product ON.
3. Press or button to adjust the humidity Set-point.
Humidifying Mode Operation
When room humidity is lower than the Set-point , the
Status Indicator will illuminate GREEN and the Control Socket will
switch ON within 3 min.
When room humidity is higher than the Set-point the
Status Indicator will illuminate RED and the Control Socket will
switch OFF within 3 minutes.
