2. Intended use
The Wireless Wall Thermostat (Product) has been designed to
wirelessly control Wireless SmartRadiator Radiator Control-
lers (Radiator Controllers). The Product may only be operated
indoors and must be protected from the effects of damp and
dust, as well as solar radiation and sources of radiant heat.
Using the Product for a purpose or in a manner other than that
described in this operating manual constitutes a breach of the
“intended use” and shall invalidate the warranty and any liability
claims.Thesameshallapplyintheeventofanymodication
work. The Product is intended exclusively for domestic use.
3. General function
The Product is a central thermostat and control device for
programming and remotely controlling Radiator Controllers.
The Product settings are followed by Learned Radiator Con-
trollers.
The Product features an internal sensor for measuring the tem-
perature and humidity in a room, and transmits these to Radia-
tor Controllers for automatic radiator valve control.
System components such as Outdoor Temperature Sensors
and Window Contacts can also be Learned to the system.
Installation is completed i 5 easy steps.
4. (Step 1) Inserting (replacing) the batteries
• Remove the battery compartment cover.
• Insert 2 new LR6 batteries (Mignon/AA) into the battery com-
partment, ensuring they are inserted correctly.
• Reattach the battery compartment cover and click into place.

New alkaline batteries have a life of approxi-
mately two years. A battery symbol ( )
indicates when the batteries need to be re-
placed. After removing old batteries, please
wait approximately 1 minute before inserting
the new ones. This Product does not support
operation with rechargeable batteries.
Never recharge standard batteries.
Doing so will present a risk of explo-
sion.
Donotthrowthebatteriesintoare.
Do not short-circuit batteries.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste. Instead, they should
be taken to your local battery disposal point.
5. (Step 2) Setting the date and time of day
Thermwareversionnumberwillbedisplayedbrieyonceyou
have inserted/replaced the batteries and then you will be auto-
matically prompted to set the date and time of day.
• Use the setting wheel (C) to set the year (A).
• ConrmwithOK(D).
• Usethesettingwheel(C)tosetthemonth(A).
• ConrmwithOK(D).
• Use the setting wheel (C) to set the day (A).
• ConrmwithOK(D).
• Use the setting wheel (C) to set the hour (B).
• ConrmwithOK(D).
• Usethesettingwheel(C)tosettheminute(B).
• ConrmwithOK(D).
After setting time and date the display will
switch to normal view.

6 (Step 3) Mounting the Wall Thermotat
The Product must be mounted in the same room as Learned
devices, such as Radiator Controllers and Window Sensors.
Find an appropriate mounting location. Make sure that no elec-
tricity or similar lines run there.
• Use a pen to mark the bore hole posi-
tions (A) of the wall mount on the wall.
• If you are mounting on a stone wall, drill
the holes using a 5 mm drill. Then insert
a plug into each of the drilled holes.
• If you are mounting on a wooden wall,
you should drill the marked holes (A) us-
ing a 1.5 mm drill.
• Usethescrewstoxthewallmount
bracket to the wall.
• Slide the Wall Thermostat down from above onto the wall
mount bracket.
7. (Step 4) Learning SmartRadiator Controller(s)
To enable communication between the Product and Radiator
Controllers, devices have to be Included (paired to each other).
Follow these steps to Include a Radiator Controller.
Put the Radiator Controller into Learn Mode (by pressing the
“OK” button for more than 3 sec.).
• Then press and hold down the “OK” button on the Wall Ther-
mostat for more than 3 seconds. “LEA” will be shown in the
Display (up to 30 seconds).
• When the Wall Thermstat has been Learned by Radiator Con-
troller, “ECF” is shown in the display.
The Product can Learn as many Radiator Controllers as you
wish.

If there is radio interference, Radiator Controllers continue to
regulate the temperature autonomously, in accordance with
the most recent temperature set by the Product.
8. (Step 5) Learning Senor(s)
Up to 5 system components such as Window Sensors or Out-
door Temperature Sensor can be Learned by the Product.
• To do this, press and hold down the “OK” button for longer
than 3 seconds. “LEA” will be shown on the Display (up to
30 seconds).
• The device to be Learned now needs to transmit a radio si-
gnal (by pressing a button on the device).
• Once Learning has been completed successfully, a code
for the Learned device appears on the Wall Thermostat’s
display for 3 seconds: SC – Window Sensor, Ot – Outdoor
Temperature Sensor.
• The display then returns to the standard view.
If 5 devices have already been Learned to the wall thermostat,
“Err” appears on the display. In this case, one of the Learned
devices needs to be Un-Learned before a new device can be
taught-in (see 22).

9. Operating Modes
The Product has 3 Operation Modes:
• Auto: Weekly program – The temperature is controlled au-
tomatically in accordance with the stored weekly program.
• Manu: Manual operation – The temperature is set manually
using the setting wheel.
• Holiday function ( ): Set a temperature that is to be main-
taineduntilaxedpointintime(seesection14).
10. Display Content during Normal Operation
During normal operation, the following are displayed: switching
periods, indoor humidity, indoor temperature, operating mode,
temperatur setting and day of the week.
The bars indicating the weekly program’s
switching periods are shown for every other
switching interval. For an example, please
refer to “13. Weekly program: Examples”.
The display will illuminate when user inter-
face is being operated
11. Comfort and Set-Back Temperatures
The Comfort/Set-Back Temperature button ( ) provides an
easy and convenient way of switching between these two tem-
peratures. The factory settings are 21.0°C and 17.0°C respec-
tively. To change them, proceed as follows:
• Press and hold down the Comfort/Set-Back Temperature
button ( ) for more than 3 seconds.
• The Sun symbol ( ) will appear on the display along with
the current Comfort Temperature.
• Use the setting wheel to modify the temperature; press OK
toconrm.
• The Moon symbol ( ) will appear together with the Set-
Back Temperature.

• Use the setting wheel to modify the temperature; press OK
toconrm.
ThetemperaturecanevenbemodiedinAutoModeatanytime
by using this button. The new setting will be retained until the
program’s next switching time
13. Weekly Program: Examples
The Product allows you to store up to 3 heating periods (7
switching times) with individual temperature settings for each
day of the week. The factory setting consists of two heating
phases (from 6:00 until 9:00 and from 17:00 until 23:00 respec-
tively) for every single day of the week:
From 00:00 to 06:00 17.0°C
From 06:00 to 09:00 21.0°C
From 09:00 to 17:00 17.0°C
From 17:00 to 23:00 21.0°C
From 23:00 to 23:59 17.0°C
Torepresenttheswitchingperiods,theabovegureshowsbars
in the 21°C intervals (e.g. 6:00 to 9:00). No bars are shown for
the the 17°C intervals (e.g. 0:00 to 6:00).
If a room also needs to be heated at around noon, the corres-
ponding program might be as follows:
Monday to Sunday
From 00:00 to 06:00 16.0°C
From 06:00 to 09:00 22.0°C
From 09:00 to 12:00 17.0°C
From 12:00 to 14:00 20.0°C
From 14:00 to 17:30 17.0°C
From 17:30 to 23:30 21.0°C
From 23:30 to 23:59 16.0°C

Ifyouhaveahomeofceandonlywantittobeheatedduring
the day on working days, you can program the following times:
Monday to Friday
From 00:00 to 08:30 17.0°C
From 08:30 to 17:00 21.0°C
From 17:00 to 23:59 17.0°C
Saturday and Sunday
From 00:00 to 23:59 15.0°C
13. Setting the Weekly Program
The weekly program allows you to set up to 3 separate heating
periods (7 switching times) for each day of the week. Program-
ming is performed in relation to the selected days, for which
temperatures must be stored for a period from 00:00 to 23:59.
• PressandholddowntheMenubuttonformorethan3seconds.
• “Pro” will appear on the display.
• ConrmwithOK.
• “Day” will appear on the display. Use the setting wheel to
select (1) an individual day of the week, (2) all working days,
the weekend or (3) the entire week (example shows work-
ing days selected).
• ConrmwithOK.
• Usethesettingwheeltosetthersttimesegment(example
shows 0:00 to 6:00).
• ConrmwithOK.
• Then, select the required temperature for the selected time
segment.
• ConrmwithOK.
• Keeprepeatingthisprocessuntilyouhavenishedstoring
temperatures for the period from 0:00 to 23:59.
InAutomode,thetemperaturecanbemodiedatanytimevia
thesettingwheel.Themodiedtemperaturewillthenbere-
tained until the next program changeover.
