Description
Tripp Lite's dual-voltage SMART700DVA line-interactive UPS system maintains 120V nominal output when fed with North American 120V or
international 230V input voltage. Protects servers, networking accessories and telecommunications equipment from blackouts, voltage fluctuations
and transient surges. Large internal batteries offer 27.5 min. half-load runtime and 11 min. full load runtime during power failures. 700VA/450W
power handling capability supports a variety of networking, telecom and other applications, including multiple network workstations. Includes 6
UPS-supported outlets. Supports remote monitoring of UPS and site power conditions via built-in USB and RS-232 enabled DB9 ports. Works with
PowerAlert UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown software available via free download from www.tripplite.com. Includes complete USB and
serial cabling. Built-in audible alarm and 5 front panel LEDs indicate status of line power, battery power, battery low/replace, voltage regulation and
load level. Network-grade AC surge suppression protects equipment from damage and performance problems resulting from transient surges.

Ideal for military, relief or other applications where low-voltage 120V output is required in both 120V North American or 230V international
locations.

Voltage regulation
description
Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) circuits maintain clean, regulated computer-grade 120V nominal output,
without using battery power, during brownouts to 83V and overvoltages to 147V (120V) / 159V to 282V (230V)
Overvoltage correction Overvoltages from 125V to 147 V (120V) and from 240V to 282V (230V) are reduced by 12%
Undervoltage
correction
A voltage boost of 14% applies when input voltage is between 83 and 104 (120V), 159V and 199V (230V)
LEDS ALARMS & SWITCHES
LED Indicators 5 LEDs indicate line power, battery power, overload, voltage regulation and battery low/replace status
Alarms Audible alarm with 15 sec. delay sounds to indicate loss of utility power. Alarm can be silenced by pressing front
panel alarm cancel button. Once silenced, alarm will re-sound when approximately 2 min. runtime remain.
Switches Includes 2 front panel switches - one main on/off power switch and one dual function "alarm cancel" / "self test"
