1 Introduction

This instruction manual is for users of the TRUST 120V WIRELESS DVD & VIDEO
VIEWER. The product can be used to transmit video and audio flexibly from your
DVD/VCR player or PC or camcorder to anywhere your TV is in your house. And it
can work with other TRUST wireless video security products.

- This device meets the essential requirements and other relevant conditions of
the applicable European directives. The Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is
available at www.trust.com/13814.
- This wireless device works at a frequency of 2.4GHz(AV) and 433.92MHz(IR
extender). It meets the essential requirements and other relevant conditions of
R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC. It can be used in all EU countries and in
NO/CH/CZ/SK/HU/PL. The following limitations are applicable for certain
countries: (a) only channel 2 is allowed using outside in France.
- There may be limitations for the use of this device outside of the EU. If this
device is used outside of the EU, check whether this device meets local
regulations. Frequency: 2.4GHz, Bandwidth: 20MHz, Power: 10mW.
4 Installation
4.1 Product layout

4.2 Connecting
Before you make connection:
a. Set the channel switch of the transmitter(A) and receiver(B) on the same channel!
To set up your transmitter(A)
1. Take the SCART cable which
labelled with “TRANSMITTER(A)”
on its connector
2. Connect the mini plug of the
cable to the AV jack at the rear
side of the unit(see Fig. 2)
3. Connect the other end of the
cable to the SCART connector
on the AV equipment(see Fig. 2)
4. Plug one end of the provided
power adapter into a wall outlet
and the other end to the
transmitter(see Fig. 4, step 1, 2)
5. Turn on the transmitter by
pressing the power button in front
of the unit(see Fig. 4, step 3)
To set up your receiver(B)
1. Take the SCART cable which
labelled with “RECEIVER(B)” on
its connector
2. Connect the mini plug of the
cable to the AV jack at the rear
side of the unit(see Fig. 3)
3. Connect the other end of the
cable to the SCART connector
on the TV(see Fig. 3)
4. Plug one end of the provided
power adapter into a wall outlet
and the other end to the
receiver(see Fig. 4, step 1, 2)
5. Turn on the receiver by pressing
the power button in front of the
unit(see Fig. 4, step 3)

4.3 Using remote control extender
The TRUST 120V WIRELESS DVD & VIDEO VIEWER gives you the ability to control
AV source equipment from another room with your existing remote control. To use
this function, follow the steps below: (prefer to be done by two people) UK
a. Place the transmitter(A) on top of the AV source equipment and make
sure the front of the transmitter(A) is aligned with the IR panel of the AV
equipment. See Fig.5.

Place the transmitter(A) close to the AV source equipment and plug the
IR sensor into the jack on the transmitter(A). Stick the IR sensor directly
on the IR window of the AV source equipment. See Fig. 6(a)
Or
Place the transmitter(A) in front of your AV source equipment and make
sure the front of the transmitter(A) is aimed to the IR panel of the AV
equipment. See Fig. 6(b)
b. Position your receiver(B) so that your remote control signal can strike the
IR window on the front of the receiver(B)
c. To use your remote control to point at the front of the receiver(B) and
operate it as you normally would
4.4 Other applications
a. To use with camcorder
Connect the mini plug of an A/V cable to the AV in jack on the transmitter(A)
and the other end to the output cinches of the camcorder, matching the
plugs colours with the cinches on the camcorder.
b. To use with your PC
(1) Transmit from a PC with composite video output
1-a. Connect the mini plug of an A/V cable to the AV in jack on
transmitter(A)
1-b. Connect the yellow plug on the A/V cable to the TV-OUT cinch on
your VGA card
1-c. Connect a “Y” adapter into the line out jack on your sound card
and connect the red and white audio cinches with the red and white
plugs of the A/V cable from the transmitter(A)
(2) Transmit from a PC with S-video output
Please first get a S-Video to composite converter/cable, which you can
find at electronics stores. Connect the S-Video converter/cable to your
S-Video output on your VGA card. And then follow the steps as in (1)
to finish the installation.
c. To use with other Trust wireless video product
(1) Connect the products as the way as instructed in the manuals
(2) Set different Trust products on the same channel
(3) Do not mix the role of which is transmitting signal and which is
receiving signal, for example, a security cam is transmitting the signal
while your TV, where you place the receiver(B), is receiving the signal.
(4) Operate the wireless products as you normally would do.

5 Checking after installation.
a. Check if transmitter(A) is at AV source and receiver(B) is at your TV.
b. Check if all connectors are well connected.
c. Check if all power are plugged.
d. Check if cables used are correct on the transmitter(A) and receiver(B).
e. Remote control extender performance depends on the IR sensor on your
AV source component as well. There are three ways to implement the
remote control extender, please find one which is most suitable. When
using IR sensor, please try with two people to find the best position to
stick the IR sensor. See Fig. 7 for example.
6 Troubleshooting

7 Warranty conditions
- Our products have a two-year manufacturer's warranty which is effective from
the date of purchase.

- If there is a fault, return the product to your dealer and include an explanation
of the fault, the proof of purchase and all the accessories.
- During the warranty period, you will receive a similar model, if one is available.
If no similar product is available, your product will be repaired.
- Please contact our help desk for missing components, such as the instruction
manual, software or other components.
- The warranty becomes invalid if the product has been opened, if there is
mechanical damage, if the product has been misused, if alterations have been
made to the product, if the product has been repaired by a third party, in the
case of negligence or if the product has been used for a purpose other than
that originally intended.
- Excluded from the warranty:
• Damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as fire, flood,
earthquakes, war, vandalism or theft.
• Incompatibility with other hardware/software which is not stated in the
