Please retain these instructions for future reference.
This unique, recording magnifier is perfect for focussing children on their
observations without the pressure of writing and allows children to develop
essential skills in a fun way. The wipeable insert on the handle allows the
child to write on their name for easy identification of their recording.
The magnifier has a dual lens with 2 x and 4 x magnification and will record
for up to 30 seconds.

Care Instructions
nAll cleaning should be carried out by an adult.
nEnsure the product is switched off before cleaning begins.
nTo clean the See and Speak case wipe gently with a clean, damp cloth.
nTo clean the lens use warm soapy water, wipe away any excess suds and
dry thoroughly.
nDo not allow the product to come into contact with any liquids during use.
Fitting and Replacing Batteries
nYour See and Speak uses 2 x AAA batteries.
nBatteries must be inserted correctly as shown below.
nRemove the battery cover with a crosshead screwdriver.
nFit batteries as shown.
nReplace the battery cover, and tighten screw.
Battery Warnings
nBatteries should be fitted by an adult.
nUse only batteries of the same type.
nDo not mix new and old batteries, replace all batteries at the same time.
nDo not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
nEnsure all used batteries are disposed of in the correct manner.

See and Speak Recording and Playback
To record:
1. Move the slide switch to ‘REC’.
2. Touch the contacts once to begin recording.
3. After the beep, speak for up to 30 seconds.
4. Touch the contacts a second time, to end the
recording. See and Speak will beep twice.
5. Subsequent recordings will record over the
previous recording.
To playback:
1. Move the slide switch to ‘PLAY’.
2. Touch the contacts once to begin playback.
3. See and Speak will play the whole recording.
4. Touch the contacts again to stop playback.
