Operation Description
When the economizer is powered, the displ y lights nd, fter the welcome
mess ge, the following type of mess ge is displ yed:
Manual Operating Mode
When m nu l oper ting mode is set, the economizer works s progr mm ble
cycle sequencer. The connected outputs will be ctiv ted t progr mmed time
interv ls. M nu l oper ting mode c n be selected in the b sic set up menu under
the first menu item.
Interv ls re progr mmed in the s me menu where ctiv tion time, p use time
nd the number of solenoid v lves connected to the device re set.
In M nu l Oper ting Mode the sign l 24 Vdc t termin ls 22_23 connector P11 is
lw ys ctive.
Automatic Operating Mode
When Autom. Mode is selected from the b sic set up menu, first menu item, the
economizer will work utonomously running pneum tic cle ning only when
necess ry. If the device detects clogging over the dP St rt Cle ning threshold,
cle ning is st rted, nd ctiv tes the sign l 24 Vdc t termin ls 22_23 connector
P11.
If clogging drops under the dP Stop Cle ning threshold, cle ning is suspended
nd turns off the sign l 24 Vdc to termin ls 22_23 connector P11, until the
pressure rises to v lue over dP St rt Cle ning.
When cle ning, the time in which the economizer cle ns c n be set in the b sic
set up menu.
The displ yed inform tion is: the oper ting mode,
the intern l dust filter pressure, ctive outputs nd
the time necess ry to ctiv te the next output.

Proportional Operating Mode
By selecting the PROPORT. mode in the b sic set up menu, the economizer works
utonomously initi lly setting the St rt Cle ning threshold, pulse time nd p use
time.
Autom tic lly, when the St rt Cle ning threshold is exceeded, the solenoid v lves
re ctiv ted in sequence. If the dP threshold lowers 15% t the end of n entire
pulse cycle for the connected solenoid v lves, cle ning is suspended until the
pressure rises over the dP St rt Cle ning threshold.
If the dP v lue does not drop 15% under the St rt Cle ning threshold, the p use
time frequency is utom tic lly reduced proportion tely t e ch complete cycle of
connected solenoid v lve pulses, until p use time between solenoid v lves is
minimum 10 seconds. The minimum 10 second threshold w s chosen to not
stress ir distribution by the compressor connected to the filter.
Special Manual Operating Mode
In the b sic set up men, first menu item, select SPECIAL mode, enter the pulse
time nd p use time. Open the dv nced set up menu, second menu item, enter
the number of complete cycles nd p use time between these cycles for the
connected solenoid v lves.
With this mode, unlike m nu l mode, the device only runs the solenoid v lves for
the set number of cycles nd will rem in in st nd-by until n oper tor presses
S
(st rt / stop) in the m in menu to repe t the cycles. This mode is especi lly
suited for sm ll filters or filters where the dP h s low v lues or the inverter keeps
pressure const nt nd it is h rd to work with utom tic nd proportion l modes.
Cleaning Function With Fan Off Post-Cleaning
This function llows cle ning cycle to be run with the f n off.
Post-cle ning is utom tic lly ctiv ted in Autom tic nd Proportion l oper ting
modes nd when differenti l pressure drops under threshold th t c n be set in
the dv nced set up menu, second menu item.
While in M nu l nd Speci l M nu l modes, it occurs through cont ct
connecting the f n to termin ls 36_37 on connector P13, see wiring di gr m.
In the dv nced set up menu, the following post-cle ning settings c n be set:
St rt cle ning with f n off (En ble/Dis ble)
Activ tion pressure (dP f n ON/OFF threshold)
Number of cycles (cycles completed)
P use time (p use dur tion between one solenoid v lve st rt nd the next during
post-cle ning).
Pulse time (cle ning pulse dur tion reg rdless of the f n on oper ting time).
Selecting The Number Of Outputs
The number of outputs (solenoid v lves) on which the economizer runs the
cle ning cycle c n be selected. Cle ning is run in order from the first solenoid
v lve to the l st. V lve regul tion is possible in the b sic set up menu.
