Installation
ItiseasiertoregistertheEnuresissensorbeforeinstallation–seebelow.
1. Removethebottomsheetfromthebed.
2. Placethebedmatacrossthewidthofthebedatapointwhere
thehipsofthepersonwillbewhenlyingdown.
Thematmustbeplacedmetallicsideup–textonthematshows“THISSIDEUP”.
3. Ifnecessarysecurethematwithcordthroughthe4cornertiedownpoints.
4. Ensurethewireexitssafelywithoutcausingahazard.
5. Placeabathtoweloverthetopofthebedmatforbestperformance.
Beawarethatnylonorpolyestersheetscangivefalsealarms.
6. Refitthebottombedsheet.
7. Plugtheleadintotheinterfaceunitandmakesureitisplaced
safelyoutofthewayunderthebed.
TestingandRegisteringtheEnuresisSensor
Removethebatterycoverfromtheinterfaceunitand
connectthebatterylead–itonlyfitsoneway.
Placeadampclothonthebedmattoactivate.
TheRED“ACTIVATED”lightwillflashforabout8seconds
whenanEnuresisalarmisbeingtransmitted.
TheEnuresissensormustbeactivatedwhenregisteringit
ontothewardencall,at‐homealarmorNursecallsystem.

Whenthesensorisactivatedthealarmcallwillbetransmittedonce,nofurther
transmissionswilloccurfor15minutesgivingtimeforthecausetobecleared.
Engineersmaskresetfunction;openthecase,pressandholdBUTTON1onthetransmitter
for2secondsuntiltheREDlightflashesonce.AfterashortdelaytheREDlightwillflashoncemore
toindicatethemasktimeisresetandthebatterypowerisOK.IftheREDlightflashesseveraltimesthebatterypowerislow.
Maintenance
TheEnuresissensorshouldbeactivatedperiodicallytocheckthebedmatisfunctioningandverifyoperation.
CleaningtheBedMat
Topreventfalsealarmsalwaysun‐plugthebedmatfromtheinterfaceunitbeforecleaning.
Thebedmatcanbewipedcleanwithadampclothandsoapywateroramilddisinfectant.
Donotfullysubmergethebedmatleadorinterfaceunitinwater.
