General Precautions
Usethisapplianceforitsintendedpurposeonlyand

before it is used. Never use the drawers as steps
or as a shelf to support more than the drawers’

YourunitisBlackorStainlessSteel.Blackunitshave
drawerswithtophandlesdesignedfortheinstallationof
fulloverlaydrawerpanels.Whenfulloverlaypanelswill
notbeused,replacementhandlesMUSTbeinstalled(part
number11926-4-BLK).StainlessSteelunitshavedrawers
withseamlessfullwrapstainlesssteelfronts(thatdo
notacceptcustompanels),sculptedstainlesssteelhandles
andblackvinyl-cladcabinets.Pleasecarefullyfollowthe
directionsthatapplytoyourunitandyourintended
design.

Inspection
Unwrapandinspecttheunitonaflat,levelsurface
capableofsupportingitsentireweight.
Removing Protective Coating
All Models:
Theprotectivecoatingcoveringtheinsideofbothtop
andbottomdrawersmustberemovedbeforeusing.
Stainless Steel Models:
Wheninspecting/installingaStainlessSteelunit,the
protectivecoatingcoveringthedrawerfrontsmustbe
removed.Startatacornerofthedrawersandpullback
theprotectivecoatingtoremoveitfromthedrawer
fronts.
Afteralltheprotectivecoatinghasbeenremovedfrom
thedrawers,cleanallStainlessSteelsurfaceswithClaire
StainlessSteelPolishandCleanerorcomparableproduct
oramilddetergentandwarmwatersolutionandsoft
cloth.DoNOTuseabrasivecleaningagents.
Note: Ifcleaningwithmilddetergentandwarmwater
solutionandsoftcloth,theunitMUSTbetreatedwith
ClaireStainlessSteelPolishandCleanerorcomparable
producttopreventdiscoloration.

Exterior Cleaning

Black Models:
•Thedrawers,grilleandcabinetmaybecleanedwitha
milddetergentandwarmwatersolution.Donotuse
solvent-basedorabrasivecleaners.Useasoftsponge
andrinsewithcleanwater.Wipewithasoft,clean
toweltopreventwaterspotting.
Stainless Steel Models:
•Stainlesssteelmodelscandiscolorwhenexposedto
chlorinegas,poolchemicals,saltwaterorcleanerswith
bleach.
•Keepyourstainlesssteelunitlookingnewbycleaning
withagoodqualityall-in-onestainlesssteelcleaner/
polishonamonthlybasis.ForbestresultsuseClaire
StainlessSteelPolishandCleaner,whichcanbe
purchasedfromU-LineCorporation.(Thepartnumber
is173348.)Comparableproductsareacceptable.
Frequentcleaningwillremovesurfacecontamination
thatcouldleadtorust.Someinstallationsmayrequire
cleaningonaweeklybasis.
• Do not clean with steel wool pads.
• Do not use cleaners that are not specifically
intended for stainless steel (this includes glass,
tile and counter cleaners).
•Ifanysurfacediscolorsorrustingappears,cleanit
quicklywithBon-AmiorBarkeepersFriendCleanser
andanon-abrasivecloth.Alwayscleaninthedirection
ofthegrain.AlwaysfinishthisprocesswithClaire
StainlessSteelPolishandCleanerorcomparable
producttopreventfurtherproblems.
• Use of abrasive pads such as Scotchbrite will
cause the graining in the stainless to become
blurred.
•Rustthatisallowedtolingercanpenetrateintothe
surfaceofthestainlesssteelandcompleteremovalof
therustmaynotbepossible.
YourU-Lineproducthasbeendesignedforbuilt-in
installation.Yourunitdoesnotrequireadditionalair
spacefortop,sidesorrear.However,thefrontgrillemust
NOTbeobstructedandclearanceisrequiredforelectrical
connectionintherear.
Note: UnitcanNOTbeinstalledbehindaclosedcabinet
door.

1.Opendrawer.Pulldrawergasketoutofgroove(top
edgeofdraweronly).Startinthemiddleandpull
outward,movingtowardtheedge(seeFigure 7).This
maytakesomeforce.
2.Removeandsavethetwoscrewslocatedattheendsof
thehandle(see
Figure 8 ).Removethehandle.
3.Removeexistingpanelandcardboardspacer.Discard
thespacer.
Attaching the Full Overlay Panel
1.Ifuser-suppliedcabinethandleswillbeused,attach
theirhardwaretotheoverlaypanelatthistime.
IMPORTANT
User-suppliedcabinethandlesMUSTbecounterboredto
makesuremountinghardwareisbelowsurfaceofoverlay
panel.Failuretodosocancausedamagetooverlaypanel
and/ordrawer.Overlaypanelwillnotsitflushtodrawerif

3.Startingatthecornersandworkingtowardthecenter,
pushthedrawergasketbackintoplace.Goonto
5 Adjust Drawers.
Checking Drawer Alignment
Theunit’sdrawersarealignedatthefactorybefore
shipment.However,theiralignmentcouldhavebeen
disturbedduringshipmentorduringoverlaypanel
installation.

•Side-to-Side —Whenviewedfromthetop,the

Installation Tip
Iftheroomfloorishigherthanthefloorinthecut-out
opening,adjusttherearfeettoachieveatotalunitrear
heightof1/8 " lessthantheopening’srearheight.Shorten
theunitheightinthefrontbyadjustingthefrontfeet.
Thisallowstheunittobegentlytippedintotheopening.
Readjustthefrontfeettoleveltheunitafteritiscorrectly

Installation of the 2075DWRR
1.MakesuretheON/OFFswitchisintheOFFposition.
2.Pluginthepowercord.
3.Gentlypushtheunitintoposition.Becarefulnotto
entangletheelectricalcord.
4.Re-checktheleveling,fromfronttobackandsideto
side.Makeanynecessaryadjustments.Theunit’stop
surfaceshouldbeapproximately1/8"belowthe
countertop.
Anti-Tip Kit Installation
WARNING
• The Anti-Tip Kit must be installed on this unit
before it is used.
• Additional blocking or special fasteners may be
required for installation. Installer is responsible
for secure attachment to prevent the unit from
tipping.
• Make sure the mounting screws attaching the
unit to the counter, cabinet or wall are deep
enough into the mounting surface to support the
weight of the drawers and the items that will be
inside the drawers.
• Never use the drawers as steps or as a shelf to
support more than the drawers’ content. Serious
personal injury could occur.
Afterleveling,theunitmustbesecuredtoacounter,a
cabinetorawalltopreventtipping.
1.Opentheupperdrawertoexposethesixscrews(A)
installedatthetoptwocorners(threeateachcorner).
Removetheappropriatescrewsforhorizontalor
verticalmounting(seeFigure 26).Donotdiscard.
2.Insertthescrewsthroughtheanti-tipbracket(B)and
attachthebrackettotheunit.Tightenscrewssecurely.
3.Repeatfortheotherside.
Note: Thebracketshouldbeflushwiththesurfaceitis
beingattachedto.Ifitisnot,loosenthescrewsandslide
thebracketagainstthemountingsurface.Tightenscrews
securely.

Temperature Controller
Thetemperaturecontroller(Figure 28)islocatedinthe
topdrawer.ItconsistsofanLEDdisplay,twoLEDstatus
indicatorlightsandthreetouchpadbuttons.TheLED
displayshowsthetemperaturesetpointandiscalibrated
indegreesFahrenheit.Thecontrollerisfactory
programmedforasetpointof38°Fwhichwillshowwhen
theunitisfirstpoweredup.
Todisplayactualtemperature,pressthe“WARMER”
buttonmomentarily.Asolidstatusindicatorlight
(1,Figure 28)willshowtheairtemperaturereadingin
thecabinetforapproximately10seconds.
Toadjustthetemperaturesetpoint,pressthe“SETTEMP”
buttonmomentarily;thedisplaywillflash.Pressthe
“WARMER”or“COOLER”buttonasdesiredtochangethe
setpoint.Whenthedesiredsetpointshowsonthe
display,wait10secondsandthenewsetpointwillbe
saved.Wait24hoursforthetemperaturetostabilize
beforecheckingtheactualtemperatureagain.The
refrigeratorsetpointrangeis34°Fto45°F.
