IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Receptacle outlets used for powering string lights must comply with all national and local electrical codes. Consult an electrician if you
are unsure about compliance requirements.
• Use only power supply devices which meet all safety requirements.
• Ensure string lights are unplugged from power during installation.
• Double-check all connections to be sure they are tight and correct.
• Ensure all lights are screwed in tightly before operating.
• Do not submerge any part of this product under water.
• This product is designed for use in a circuit protected by a fuse or circuit breaker. It is also designed to be installed in accordance with local
electrical codes. If you are unsure about your wiring, please consult a qualified electrical inspector and check your local electrical codes.
• Keep plugs and receptacles dry.
• Avoid damage to the cords and lamp assemblies during installation. Periodically inspect the string lights for physical or other damage caused
by outdoor exposure to the elements. Replace any damaged lights right away.
• String lights should be installed out of reach of children. Children should not be allowed to play with any part of this product.
WARNING: RISK OF FIRE
• String lights are designed to be mounted with their individual keyhole mounting feature.
• Do not mount string lights by using main electrical cord or the individual drop cords.
• Use only power supplies that match the products voltage and current.
• Please obey all fire prevention regulations and do not cover any part of the fixture with heat insulated materials.
• Do not change the LED light source or driver inside under any circumstance.
• It is not permitted to allow foreign objects enter the lamp head. Do not cause a short circuit between the positive and negative in any way.
• Install the string lights with appropriate strength hardware to prevent insufficient and poor contact, or too much to destroy the lamp head.
• Do not mount the string lights in any position where the lights are pointing upward.
• Do not allow the LED assemblies to be in contact with any combustible materials. LED lamp assemblies should hang freely and not be
susceptible to repetitive damage caused by environmental conditions such as rain, wind, snow and ice.
• This product is not intended to be installed in ceilings, soffits, cabinets, attics, or other enclosed spaces.

Read all safety information and installation instructions before installing or servicing this product. Save this guide for reference.
Control the Magic Series RGBW String Lights easily with a smartphone/tablet app, voice command, remote control, or the built-in switch.
You can customize each individual light to set or match the mood and atmosphere of the space using a variety of pre-programmed modes.
The app can visualize music using the microphone on your device with an array of customization options. Once the app is set up (requires
2.4GHz WiFi network), the lights can be controlled and scheduled from anywhere, even while you’re away on vacation.

REMOTE CONTROL:
1. Pause/Start: Pause or start a program (dynamic mode)
2. Speed - : Slow down a program (dynamic mode)
3. Auto: Automatically transfer modes
4. Brightness + : Increase the brightness
5. Warm White: Decrease the CCT color temperature
6. Brightness - : Decrease the brightness
7. Cool White: Increase the CCT color temperature
8. Red: Change all lights to red
9. Green: Change all lights to green
10. ON/OFF: Turn all lights ON or OFF
11. Mode + : Adjust the modes in a forward sequence
12. Speed + : Speed up a program (dynamic mode)
13. Mode - : Adjust the modes in a backward sequence
14. Color Temp + : Increase the color temperature
15. Color Temp - : Decrease the color temperature
16. Blue: Change all lights to blue

STEP 3 - Plug In:
Plug string lights into
any standard outlet.
STEP 4 - Download
the ‘Smart Life’ App:
Search for ‘Smart Life’ on
the Apple iOS App Store
or Google Play store and
download it to your device(s).
STEP 5 - Register and Set-Up the ‘Smart Life’ App:
1. Create an account or Log in with an existing account.
2. Select your region, enter your email address, agree to the Privacy Policy
and tap ‘Get Verification Code’. Enter the code on the next screen.
3. After entering your verification code, set your password.
4. Allow all relevant permissions and conditions.
STEP 1 - Initial Set-Up:
1. Carefully unpack all string lights and components from packaging.
2. Before installing, plug string lights into an electrical outlet to ensure all lights work properly. Unplug prior to mounting.
STEP 2 - Install the String Lights:
OPTION #2 - INSTALL BY WIRE GUIDE: Attach a
ring at the back of every light holder to the guide
wire using S-hooks or cable ties (not included).
OPTION #1 - INSTALL BY STRUCTURE:
Connect securely to the structure at the
beginning, middle (the 6th or 7th light holder),
and the end of each set of string lights.

7. Tap ‘Done’ and wait a
few seconds for the device
to finish connecting.

STEP 6 - Pair the App with Your Device and String Lights:
1. Ensure the power
on your string lights
is turned ON before
proceeding.
4. After confirming
that you are on
a 2.4GHz WiFi
network, enter
your password a
nd then tap ‘Next’.
Make sure you
are in range of
the WiFi router.
5. Choose your
string lights
from the list of
available devices
to connect to it.
2. Choose ‘Lighting’
and then ‘Strip Lights
(Wi-Fi)’ from the
device list.
3. Press the WiFi
button for 5 seconds
until the string lights
start flashing red.

Can’t connect to your WiFi network?
Make sure you entered the correct WiFi password during the
WiFi set-up. Check your internet connection for issues. Make
sure you are in range of the WiFi router. If your WiFi signal is
not stable, reset your router and try again.
Set-up not working properly?
1. Close all apps that are running in the background on your
device and then re-open the Smart Life app.
2. Uninstall and re-install the app and repeat the set-up process.
Lights not responding to the app?
1. Check to make sure the string lights have not been turned OFF. If
they have, turn them ON and wait until they re-connect automatically.
2. Check for issues with your internet connection. Reset WiFi router
if necessary and wait until they re-connect automatically.
How many colors are there to choose from?
The Magic Series string lights use RGB and White LEDs allowing
you to choose from millions of colors per light.
