STEP 1 - Enter Program Mode by turning ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (Leaving Key ON).
STEP 2 - Press the Valet (program) Button, located on the antenna 1 time and release.
Siren/Horn will chip once.
STEP 3 - Press and hold button #4 for two seconds.
STEP 4 - Siren will chirp twice Continue to hold valet until park lights and siren go on and off
three times.
System is now re-set to factory defaults.

SYSTEM RESET to DEFAULT Settings
TRANSMITTERS
ENTERING VALET MODE
1. While ignition is “on” press and hold the antenna button for 5 seconds until siren chirps 5
times.
2. Alarm and remote start functions will be disabled and LED will be “on” steady. Door locks
and trunk release are still operational.
EXITING VALET MODE
1. While ignition is “on” press and hold the antenna button for 5 seconds until siren chirps 2
times.
Note: System can be programmed into “High Security Mode” to enhance or disable this
feature, check with installation center.
EMERGENCY VALETMODE -AllModels
STEP 1 - Open the hood.
STEP 2 - Turn ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON Leaving Key ON.
STEP 3 - Hold brake down until lights flash and LED’s come on solid.
About 5 seconds.
STEP 4 -Siren/horn will chirp 5 times and leds will stay on solid.
STEP 5- Press the lock button on each transmitter to be programmed.
The park lights will flash 1 time each time a transmitter is learned.
NOTE : All transmitters to be used must be programmed at the same time
. Any transmitter not programmed in the same sequence will be erased from
the systems memory.

BASIC INSTALLATION - QUICK START 2000 Series
STEP 1 - The following wires MUST be connected for proper operation.
STEP 2 - Plug the Connectors into the Unit
STEP 3 - Tach Selection - Default Tachless

Plug the 6 Pin Connector into the Remote Starter module then plug the 14 Pin
and any other connectors into unit.
***Make sure that Ignition Key is in the OFF position****
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
NOTE : Place dip switch #2 in the “ON” position
“Reservation Mode” must be activated each time vehicle is exited to remote start
Method 1-
Method 2- Tachless timer mode. Starter stops cranking at a pre-determined
crank time.
Method 3-
See tach and voltage settings in the Program Guide
Voltage sensing. System will sense a increase in voltage and
stop cranking.
Tach learning. System will sense tach pulses from the vehicle.

Red Wires - +12 VDC Main Power Source Input 30Amp
Connect these two Red wires to a main constant +12 VDC power source.
B ack - Chassis Ground
Connect this B ack wire securely to a clean, solid negative chassis ground.
B ue - Ignition - Switched +12 VDC Output 30Amp
Connect this B ue wire to the ignition wire supplying + 12 VDC when the ignition key
Is in the ignition “On” and “Start” position.
Note: Many vehicles have 2 main ignition wires which must e connected to ensure
proper operation. See Ignition2 - Blue/White wire #3 of the 14 pin harness - 10 amp
Ye ow - Starter Output 30Amp
Connect this Ye ow wire supplying +12 VDC when the ignition key is in the
ignition“Start” position only.
Note: If installing a Starter Disa le Relay, see Ground O/P Orange wire #7 of the 14 pin
harness.
Green - Accessory +12 VDC output - Heater/Air Conditioner - 30 Amp
Connect this Green wire to the Accessory wire supplying +12 VDC when the ignition
key is in the Accessory “On” position but not in the “Start” position.

Connect this White wire to positive side of the parking lights wire.
Red/White: 2nd Channe Output (Trunk Re ease)
This Red/White wire supplies 500ma (-) output when button # 2 is pressed for 1 ½ seconds.
Note: This can also e used for Driver’s Door Unlock priority.
B ue/White: + 12 VDC Output for Ignition 2 Wire 15 Amp Max
Connect this B ue/White wire to the second Ignition wire. (15 amps Max Current).
Brown: Positive Output for Siren or Horn
Connect to (+) brown wire on siren or use relay to connect to (-) Horn
White/Vio et: Negative Output whi e Running
Provides a 500ma (-) Output while remote starter is active
Green: Negative Door Switch Input
Connect to Door Pin switch that is (-) when door is open

Connect this Ye ow wire to the optional Glow Plug Module for Diesel Glow Plug Mode
Vio et: Positive Door Switch Input (Ford Type).
Connect to the door pin-switch, which supplies +12 VDC when door is opened

Transmitter Programming
Note: The system is capab e of earning up to 3 different transmitter codes.
To place the system in Transmitter Code Learning Mode:
1. Open the hood.
2. Start with ignition key in the “Off” position, turn the ignition key “On/Off”, “On/Off”,
“On” and leave in the “On” position.
3. Press and hold the brake down for 5 seconds until lights flash 5 times and and the
LED comes “ON” solid.
The system is now in Programming Mode and is ready to accept transmitter
programming.
To program new Transmitters:
Press button #1 of each transmitter once momentarily - the system will respond with 1
light flash and one chirp/honk. The LED will turn “Off” momentarily to confirm that it has
accepted the new code.
Note: If programming only one set of transmitters, upon entering into programming
mode, press button 1 of the transmitter 3 times. This will fill up all memory locations.
To exit Transmitter Code Learning Mode:
The system will automatically exit Programming Mode for any of the following conditions:
1. The ignition is turned “Off”.
2. No new transmitter button has been pressed within 5 seconds.
3. After the 3rd transmitter has been programmed.
The LED will respond by turning “Off”, indicating that it has exited programming mode.
Important: Once the system has exited Programming Mode, turn the ignition key to the
“Off” position and test transmitter.
TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING
PROGRAMMING - Tach Settings
Voltage Sense Mode (System Defau t)
Note: Ensure that program switch #1 is in the “Off” position.
The recommended setting is Voltage Sense Mode. This method requires no additional wiring.
Note: In Voltage Sense Mode, do NOT connect the B ack/White Tach Sense Wire.
Tach Sense / Tach Learning Mode
Note: Ensure that program switch #1 is in the “Off” position.
In this mode the system will sense and/or learn the tach pulses from the vehicle.
Connect the B ack/white Tach wire and follow Tach Learning Procedure. See Installer Program Menu
Tachless Timer Mode
Note: Ensure that program switch #1 is in the “Off” position.
In this mode the starter will stop cranking after a pre-determined crank time. (See Below).
If Tachless Timer Mode does not start the car properly, proceed into:
Alternator Sensing Mode
Note: Ensure that program switch #1 is in the “On” position.
In this mode the system will sense the change in voltage from Ground to +12 VDC when the vehicle has
started and subsequently stop cranking. Locate wire on alternator that goes from ground to 12V+ when
vehicle has started

TACH LEARNING MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Manual Transmission Mode
Note: Program switch #2 on control unit must be in “ON” position.
In order to start a Manual Transmission equipped vehicle:
Manual Transmission Reservation Mode must be enables each time.
Manual Transmission Reservation Mode.
Step 1- Leave the Ignition Key in the “On” position (Car is still running).
Step 2- Press and hold the brake pedal, then press & release button #4.
The system will respond with 1 siren/horn chirp & light flash.
Step 3- Turn the Ignition Key “Off” - the vehicle should stay running.
Step 4- Within 20 seconds open and close door (Note: The door switch input must
be hooked up).
Step 5- Within 20 seconds of the door closing, press button #1, the doors will lock
and the vehicle will shut “off”.
Step 6- The vehicle can now be remote started by pressing button #3.
Note: If a door is opened, the brake is pressed or the ignition turned “on”, the
vehicle will exit Reservation Mode.
Note: For increased protection, a Radar Sensor is recommended to protect
anyone from getting near the gearshift if the vehicle is a convertible or if
a window is opened.
Connect the Radar Sensor through relay to the Green/White wire hood
safety switch input
Tach learning is optional. It is only necessary if the tach sense option is selected
as the desired start detection method. The black/white tach wire must be connected
to a tach source. The following steps are also necessary for tach learning.
1. Dip switch 1 must be in the off position.
2. The Blue Loop Inside module needs to be cut.
3. Unit needs to be programmed to tach mode. See sensing method in the program guide.
Programming Tach
Step 1. Enter Installer program Mode.( Ignition On,Off On,Off, On, Leave key On.
Step 2. Press the antenna button once. Siren and park lights will go on then off.
Step 3. Select Setting One. (Press the button # 2 twice. LED’s should flash in two’s).
Step 4. Press button # 3 then start the vehicle with the key.
The system will confirm tach learning by turning the park lights on and chirping
the siren three times.
Note: If system does not respond, repeat steps as listed above. If unit does not learn
change to a different tach source. Fuel Injectors work best.

Manual Transmission Mode

PROGRAMMING - Installer Program Mode
This system is capable of multiple programmable functions.
To Enter Installer Program Mode:
1. Open the hood.
2. Turn the Ignition Key “On/Off”, “On/Off”, “On”.
3. Press & Release the button on the antenna once.
The system will respond with one siren/horn chirp and light flash to confirm it is in Program
Mode and is ready for Feature Programming.
Note: Upon entering Program Mode you can change as many Modes as you like as long as
you don’t pause for more than 10 seconds between button presses or turn the ignition being
turned “Off”
To Exit Installer Program Mode
The system will exit Program Mode automatically in the following conditions:
1. The ignition is turned to the “Off” position
2. No new feature has been programmed within 10 seconds.
Transmitter Button Operation
The transmitter is used in the “Program Mode” as follows:
Button #1 (Lock) Selects the next lower program feature
Button #2 (Un ock) Selects the next higher program feature
Button #3 (*) Selects the setting for the current program feature
Button #4 (#) Confirms the selected setting via chirps and light flashes
LED INDICATORS
The LED indicators on the antenna with flash in sequence to confirm the selected
programming feature (ie Program feature 4 = 4 LED flashes)

To Enter Advanced Program Mode:
1. Open the hood and the door.
2. Press & Hold the BRAKE pedal
3. Turn the Ignition Key “On/Off”
4. Press & Release the button on the antenna twice.
The system will respond with one siren/horn chirp and light flash to confirm it is in Program
Mode and is ready for Feature Programming.
Note: Upon entering Program Mode you can change as many Modes as you like as long as you don’t
pause for more than 10 seconds between button presses or turn the ignition being turned “ON”
To Exit Advanced Program Mode
The system will exit Program Mode automatically in the following conditions:
1. The ignition is turned to the “ON” position
2. No new feature has been programmed within 10 seconds.
