PERSONAL SAFETY
·Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as
dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
·Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control
of the trailer jack and base in unexpected situations.
·Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
TOOL USE AND CARE
·Do not force the trailer jack caster to fit into the tube. Do not attempt to lift more than the
rated maximum lifting capacity of the jack or caster being used.
·Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the jack or these instructions to operate it.
·Maintain your jack caster. Check for bent or damaged parts and any other conditions. If
damaged, have the jack caster repaired before use or discard entirely.
·Use the jack caster and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into
account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the jack caster for
operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
OPERATION
WARNING: Trailer jack and jack caster should be used on a smooth, level surface that
is capable of supporting a fully loaded trailer.
Step 1: Take the jack caster and linchpin out of the carton.
Step 2: Insert the jack’s inner tube into the short tube of jack caster. Secure the jack and caster
by inserting the linchpin through the holes at the base to affix the base and inner tube.
