Installation Notice

Chapter 1. Introduction
ENDAT-4052i/M supports high performance processor Intel® Pentium M, Celeron
M or Mobile Intel® Celeron processors with FSB 400MHz. It supports DDR (DDR
200/266) SDRAM DIMM up to 1GB
ENDAT-4052i/M provides an Internal Graphics, Features Integrated 32-bit 3D core
at 133 MHz with Dynamic Video Memory Technology (Intel® DVMT 2.1) supports
up to 64 MB video memory and support HW Motion Compensation for MPEG2.
Display features up to 48-bit dual channel LVDS TFT LCD, DVI. You also can
choose an additional DVI to meet your versatile application requirements.
Ethernet interface, adopts Dual Intel 82551 that supports 10/100Mbps, RJ-45
connector.
ENDAT-4052IM plentiful expansion interfaces, such as PCI slot, Type III Mini PCI
socket,
Moreover, this model supports two IDE, four RS-232, one RS-232/422/485/IrDA
and one parallel port. In addition, it deploys four USB 2.0, 8-bit digital I/O and
contains one Mini PCI slot. It is compatible with Mini PCI rev1.0, Mini PCI Type III,
Flexible expansion connections are equipped to fulfill various application needs.

1-2. Unpacking
The motherboard comes securely packaged in a sturdy cardboard shipping carton.
In addition to the User's Manual, the motherboard package includes the following
items:

LCD cable (Optional)
CDROM Driver includes: Drivers for Windows 2000, XP andAMI / AWARD FLASH
ROM utilities.
Driver utilities for on-board VGA drivers, LAN adapter
If any of these items are missing or damage, please contact the dealer from whom
you purchase the motherboard. Save the shipping material and carton in the event
that you want to ship or store the board in the future.
Note: Please leave the motherboard in its original package until you are ready to
install it!
1-3. Electrostatic Discharge Precautions
Make sure you properly ground yourself before handling the motherboard, or other
system components. Electrostatic discharge can easily damage the components.
Note: You must take special precaution when handling the motherboard in dry or
air-conditioned environments.
