ast-off support plate assembly with the c omb
as low as po ssi bl e a nd make sure that take-up
resp ec tively c ontrol ca m and ca s t-off support
plate do no t int e rf e r e .
The antral c am 1s set c orre tly, when th e radius
(C, F ig. 22 B) on the c am 1s approx. 2 - 2, 5 mm
(. 080 - . 10 i n.) in front of the looper thread (D,
F i g. 22 B) at the moment when the thread is ca st -
off at the looper thread take-up (r ef er to paragraph
"SETTING T HE LOOPER THREAD T AKE-UP " ,

When sewing with texturized thr e ad ( Helan ca etc.)
it is re c ommended, to reduc e th e d is tan c e be-
tween the radius (C, F i g. 22 B) on the cam and t he
thread to I, 5 mm (. 060 in.) to a cc ommodate the
e lasti c ity of the looper thread.

THREADING
The ma c hines are thre a ded ac cordin g lo Fig. 2 and Fi g. 3.
Fig. 2 shows the manner in which a ma c hine wi thout
Klipp-it is thre a ded.
Fig. 3 shows the manner in which a machine with Klipp-it
is threaded.
When pressing lever (B, Fi g. 4) the looper c ast-off plate
(C, Fig. 4) swings up for thre a ding.
After threading push looper c ast-off plate (C, Fig. 4) at
lever (D, Fig. 5) back into its position. For cleaning the
take-up and cast-off plate, the cast-off plate can be
fully swung up by pressing lever (B, Fig. 4), removin g
the cloth plate and un sc rewin g the stop s c rew (A,Fi g. 6)
until the plate contacts the ma c hine bed.

Fig. 2 ze igt das Einflideln einer Mas c hine ohne Klipp a b.
F i g. 3 zeigt das Einftideln e iner Mas c hine mit Klippab.
Dur h Drilcken des Hebels (B, Fig. 4) kann die Faden-
aufnehmerplatte (C, Fig. 4) zum Einf li de ln na c h oben
ausgeschwenkl werden.
Na ch dem Einfadeln wird die Fadenaufnehmerplatte (C ,
F i
g. 4) a m Hebel (D, Fig. 5) wieder in ihre Ausgangs-
stellung zurilckgedrilckt. Zum Reinigen des Fadenauf-
nehmers kann die Fadenaufnehmerplatte (C, Fi g. 4) ga nz
ausges c hwenkl werden, indem man den Hebel (B, Fig. 4)
dr il ckt, die Stoffplatte entfernt und die Anschlagschr a ub e
(A, Fig. 6) soweit herausdreht bi s die Platte am Geh li us e
anschl ag t.
