Antes de utilizar el tostador asegúrese de retirar todo el material de embalaje.
Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de los 8 años y por personas
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o con falta de
experiencia y conocimientos, siempre que hayan sido supervisados o instruidos
en el uso del aparato de forma segura y comprendan los peligros que conlleva.
Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. Los niños no deben realizar la limpieza
y el mantenimiento del usuario a menos que sean mayores de 8 años y estén
supervisados.
Mantenga el aparato y su cable fuera del alcance de los niños menores de 8
años.

3. MODO DE EMPLEO
3.1 ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Retire todo el material de embalaje, etiquetas y/o pegatinas de su tostadora.
Asegúrese de que no quede ningún material de embalaje en las ranuras.
Inserte la bandeja recogemigas extraíble en la ranura de la bandeja de migas.
Seleccione una ubicación para la tostadora. La ubicación debe ser:
oUna superficie plana, resistente al calor y no inflammable.
oPor lo menos a 3 pulgadas de distancia de las paredes o de la parte
posterior de las encimeras.
oPor lo menos a un pie de distancia del gabinete o de las estanterías que
puedan estar por encima de la tostadora.
oLejos de materiales inflamables, como cortinas y telas de pared
oLejos de una estufa de gas, llama o elemento eléctrico.
Enchufe el cable de alimentación en un tomacorriente de CA de 220-240 V, 50
Hz. Para minimizar el desorden de cables en las encimeras de la cocina, use la
envoltura para cables ubicada debajo de la tostadora.
La mayoría de los tipos de panes pueden ser tostados. Sin embargo, la rebanada
no debe ser tan pequeña como para caer en la ranura del pan.
SUGERENCIA:

Antes de la primera utilización, se recomienda hacer funcionar el aparato sin pan con
el mando de control en grado 3 y la palanca en posición baja para quitar el acabado de
protección del elemento calefactor. En este momento, el tostador humeará. Esto es
normal. Se recomienda tener una buena ventilación de aire. Después del primer
calentamiento, dejar que se enfríe de forma natural antes de volver a utilizarlo.
3.2 USO DE LA TOSTADORA
1. Enchufe la tostadora a la toma de corriente.
2. Coloque la rebanada en el centro de la ranura.
3. Después de insertar el pan en las ranuras, seleccione el tostado con el selector del
nivel de tostado y presione la palanca de funcionamiento hacia abajo hasta que se
bloquee. Las guías de pan de ajuste automático (situadas dentro de las ranuras de
tostado) centran automáticamente el pan para que se dore de forma uniforme.
4. Una vez terminado el tiempo de tostado establecido, el pan se levantará
automáticamente y la palanca de funcionamiento y las guías de pan volverán a su
posición original.
5. La superficie de la red, el elemento calefactor, las ranuras de tostado o la tapa
lateral están calientes, por lo que, al retirar el pan tostado, hay que tener cuidado.

ADVERTENCIAS:
El pan tostado puede estar muy caliente. Manejar con cuidado.
Desenchufe el cable y mueva la perilla de empuje hacia arriba y hacia abajo
varias veces para levantar el pan "atascado".
Nunca use utensilios de metal para liberar el pan.
Nunca inserte su dedo o utensilios metálicos en las ranuras para el pan o en la
red.
4.LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Limpie la tostadora regularmente. Este aparato no contiene piezas que puedan
ser reparadas por el usuario y requiere poco mantenimiento. Deje el
mantenimiento o la reparación en manos de personal cualificado.
Después de su uso y antes de limpiarla, desenchufe el cable de alimentación de
la tostadora de la toma de corriente y espere a que la tostadora se enfríe.

Limpieza de la superficie superior:
oLimpie la superficie en la parte superior de las ranuras del pan con un paño
húmedo y séquelo con otro paño o toalla de papel.
Limpieza de la bandeja de migas:
oLa bandeja de migas extraíble se encuentra en la parte inferior. Sujete el
mango de la bandeja de migas y sáquela completamente.
oDeseche las migas y lave la bandeja en agua caliente y jabonosa. Las
manchas más difíciles se pueden eliminar con una almohadilla de malla de
nylon.
oLa bandeja no es segura para el lavavajillas.
oSeque la bandeja completamente y de forma natural antes de volver a
introducirla en la ranura de la tostadora.
ADVERTENCIA: Vacíe la bandeja de migas con frecuencia. Las migas se
acumularán y podrían incendiarse si no se vacían periódicamente.
5.INFORMACIÓN INHERENTE AL MEDIO AMBIENTE
Este aparato se ha marcado de acuerdo con la Directiva Europea 2012/19/EU
referente a la eliminación de los Desperdicios de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE). El símbolo del que consta en el aparato indica que el producto al final de su
vida útil no se debe tratar como basura doméstica normal, sino que se debe llevar a
los centros de recogida diferenciada de desperdicios eléctricos y electrónicos o bien
entregar al vendedor en el momento de comprar un nuevo aparato. La adecuada
recogida de este aparato contribuye a evitar posibles repercusiones negativas para el
ambiente o la salud de las personas. La eliminación debe hacerse respetando los
reglamentos medioambientales locales vigentes. Para informaciones más detalladas
inherentes al tratamiento, la eliminación o el reciclado de este producto, rogamos
contacten el servicio local de eliminación de desechos o a la tienda donde compró el
aparato. No tirar el embalaje del aparato a la basura sino seleccionar los diversos

Los materiales del embalaje de este producto son reciclables. Puede depositar estos
materiales en un lugar público de recogida para su reciclaje.

6.SERVICIO POSTVENTA
Este producto cuenta con una garantía de 2 años contados a partir de la fecha de
compra del producto, con las siguientes condiciones:
La garantía es válida sólo con la presentación de la factura de compra del
producto.
No están cubiertos por la garantía los daños causados durante el transporte,
negligencia o mal uso, montaje o instalación incorrecta, así como las influencias
externas, tales como: rayos atmosféricos o eléctricos, inundaciones, humedad,
etc.
Esta garantía termina cuando se descubre que han sido sometidas a
reparaciones, reformas o intervenciones por cualquier persona no autorizada por
Universal Blue.

Before using the toaster be sure to remove all packaging material.
This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and by persons with

the device. Children should not perform user cleaning and maintenance unless

Large breads or utensils should not be inserted into a toaster as they may cause
a fire or risk of electric shock.
A fire may occur if the toaster is covered with or near flammable material,
including curtains, drapes, walls, and the like, when in operation.
DO NOT attempt to remove the bread when the toaster is plugged in.
NOT leave the toaster operating unsupervised.
There is a fire hazard if the crumb tray is not cleaned regularly.
DO NOT use metal pads for cleaning. Parts may break and there is a risk of
electric shock if the pad comes in contact with the electrical parts.
DO NOT cook, heat, or roast food other than bread.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging material, labels and/or stickers from your toaster. Make
sure there are no packing materials left in the slots.
Insert the removable crumb tray into the crumb tray slot.
Select a location for the toaster. The location should be:
oA flat, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.
oAt least 3 inches away from walls or back of countertops.
oAt least one foot away from the cabinet or shelves that may be above the
toaster.
oAway from flammable materials, such as curtains and wall cloths.
oFar from a gas stove, flame or electrical element.
Plug the power cord into a 220-240 V, 50 Hz AC outlet. To minimize cable clutter
on kitchen countertops, use the cable wrap located under the toaster.
Most types of breads can be toasted. However, the slice should not be too small
to fall into the slot in the bread.
SUGGESTION:
Before first use, it is recommended that the appliance be operated without bread, with
the control knob in degree 3 and the lever in the down position to remove the
protective finish from the heating element. At this point, the appliance will smoke. This
is normal. Good air ventilation is recommended. After the first heating, allow it to cool
naturally before using it again.
3.2 USING THE TOASTER
1. Plug the toaster into the wall outlet.
2. Place the slice in the center of the slot.
3. After inserting the bread into the slots, select the toast with the toast level selector
and press the operating lever down until it locks. Self-adjusting bread guides
(located inside the toasting slots) automatically center the bread so that it is evenly
browned.
4. When the set toasting time has elapsed, the bread will automatically rise and the
operating lever and bread guides will return to their original position.

5. The surface of the net, the heating element, the toasting slots or the side cover are
hot, so when removing the toasted bread, care must be taken.
WARNINGS:
Toasted bread can be very hot. Handle with care.
Unplug the cord and move the push knob up and down several times to lift the
"stuck" bread.
Never use metal utensils to release bread.
Never insert your finger or metal utensils into the bread slots or net.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the toaster regularly. This appliance contains no user serviceable parts
and requires little maintenance. Leave maintenance or repair to qualified
personnel.
After use and before cleaning, unplug the toaster's power cord from the wall
outlet and wait for the toaster to cool down.
Cleaning the top surface:
oo Wipe the surface at the top of the bread slots with a damp cloth and dry
with another cloth or paper towel.
Cleaning the crumb tray:
oThe removable crumb tray is located at the bottom. Hold the crumb tray
handle and pull it out completely.
oDiscard the crumbs and wash the tray in hot, soapy water. Difficult stains
can be removed with a nylon mesh pad.
oThe tray is not dishwasher safe.
oDry the tray completely and naturally before reintroducing it into the slot of
the toaster.
WARNING: Empty the crumb tray frequently. Crumbs will accumulate and may
catch fire if not emptied periodically.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
This appliance is labelled in compliance with European directive
2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By
ensuring that this appliance is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
any possible damage to the environment and to human health, which
might otherwise be caused if it were disposed of in the wrong way.
The symbol on the product indicates that it may not be treated as normal household
waste. It should be taken to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic goods.

treatment, recover and recycling of this product please contact your local council, your
household waste disposal service, or the shop where you purchased it.
