US-TRADER-PRO– Instruction Manual
Thank you for purchasing US-TRADER-PRO Digital scale. Please
read all operation instructions carefully before use.

“CAUTION” These words mean the following:

When using the scale, the following safety precautions should always be
followed. WARNING
Only use the correct AC adapter with the scale. Other adaptors may
cause permanent electrical damage.
CAUTION
- Avoid placing the scale in direct sunlight, this may cause discoloration or
malfunction.
- Replace all batteries at the same time – Do not replace only a portion of the
6 batteries as this may cause malfunction.
- If the scale is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all batteries
from the battery compartment to avoid leakage, which may cause damage to
the scale.
-Avoid overloading the scale, as this may cause permanent damage and
avoid your warranty – do not EVER exceed the maximum capacity of
the scale.
- Keep the scale away from water – this scale is not water resistant. Shock,
injury and electrical damage can occur if used in a wet location!
- Matter charged with static electricity could affect accuracy. Discharge all
static electricity. For example, one method is to use Static-Guard spray, and
spray it on both sides of the weighing platform.

PREPARATION

CAUTION
Avoid installing the scale in direct sunlight that may cause discoloration or
malfunctions, Place your scale on a firm weighing table so that the scale is
level. (The scale will not perform accurately when it is not level) . Place the
scale on the firm surface that is flat and level for an accurate weighing
Setting up the scale
Before weighing
WEIGHING
Whenever possible, please allow the scale to warm up for 10 minutes
seconds after first turning the power on so that the scale function properly
and accurately.
Error messages
Err-0: Overload
: Low Battery
Calibration may be required before weighing
Read “CALIBRATION” first and if necessary, calibrate your scale for
accurate weighing.
Weighing Procedures
1. Press [ON/OFF] to turn on the scale.
When the power is turned on, the display will count down from
“99999” to “11111” and then “0” appear on the display.
2. Select the weighing unit with [UNIT].
Press [UNIT] to select a weighing unit “kg”, “g”, “lb”, “lb:oz”, “oz”
Once the unit has been selected, the selected unit will be displayed
next to the weight value.
3. Start weighing
if you do not use a container for weighing, Verify the reading is
“0”. If not, press [TARE] to display “0”.
Place the items to be weighed on the platform.
If you use a container for weighing,
Place an empty container on the platform.
Wait for the stability weighing to be displayed and press [TARE]
Place the objects to be weighed in the container.
CALIBRATION
When to calibrate?
Calibration may be required when it is initially installed, if the scale is
moved to a substantial distance.
This is necessary because the weight of a mass in one location is not
necessarily the same in another location. Also, with time and use, mechanical
deviations may occur.

Remove the battery compartment cover
and insert four batteries (R6P/LR6/AAA
size) into the battery compartment,
taking extreme care that the polarities
plus and minus is observed.
Plug the Ac adapter to the AC adapter
socket on the side. The AC input
requirement could be 110,120,220,230
or 240 Volts (50/60 Hz) depending on
the area where used, so please verify that
the adaptor is correct

How to calibrate
1. Before entering calibration mode, press [ON/OFF] to turn the power
on for 1 minute.
2. Press [COUNT/CAL] Key for 3 seconds and release the
[COUNT/CAL], the display will show flash calibration weight.
3. Place the calibration weight on platform, Wait for 5 seconds, the
display will show “…….” Then it will return to weight value. Now
calibration is complete.
4. Press [ON/OFF] to turn the power off, press [ON/OFF] to turn the
power on again, place the full weight on the platform to make sure
whether weight is correct, if not, repeat step 2~4.
5. Return the weighing mode
Press [ON/OFF] to turn the power off, Press [ON/OFF] again to
turn on the power and the scale/balance return to the weighing mode.

Counting procedures
1. Press [ON/OFF] to turn on the scale, Wait for ‘0” to appear on the
display.
2. Start the Count Procedure
If necessary press [ZERO] key to set the display to “0”.
3. Place a given number of samples of an item on the pan (the Sample Size
should be either 10, 20, 50 or 100 pieces). The weight of these samples will
show on the display. Press the [PCS]key to put the scale in PCS mode, the
display will show P=X X, press [UNIT] to select XX value (10 ,20, 50, 100),
4. Press the [PCS] key, the display will show PASS then “XX ‘, then the
scale will recall the sample size you selected and show the starting sample
size on the display (you can now remove the samples if you want to return
the scale to 0)
5. Press the [UNIT] key to return to the weighing mode
Counting Procedures
FUNCTION SETTINGS
1.Enter function setting mode.
Press [ON/OFF] to turn the power off, Press [COUNT/CAL] first, then
press [ON/OFF], while keeping [COUNT/CAL] pressed, the display will
show A_ON or A_OFF.
2.Selection of auto backlight mode.
When the balance enter function setting menu, Press [UNIT] key, the display
will show L_ON or L_OFF, press [COUNT/CAL], selection display L_ON,
this means auto backlight function active, press [COUNT/CAL] again, the
display will show L_OFF, this means auto backlight function inactive, i.e.
shut off backlight function.
3.Selection of auto shut off mode.
When the balance enters function setting menu, Press [UNIT] key, the
display will show A_ON or A_OFF, press [COUNT/CAL], selection
display A_ON, this means auto shut off function active. Press
[COUNT/CAL] again, the display will show A_OFF, this means auto shut
off function inactive.
4.Return to weighing mode.
Press [ON/OFF] to turn the power off, press [ON/OFF] again to turn on the
power and the scale return to the weighing mode.
