Thank you for choosing this camera, The camera is specially used to
record activities of wild animals. For easier use of it, the user manual
contains full specifications of the operation. Please read the manual
carefully before use, and keep it at a safe place for future reference.
The compilation of the user manual refers to the latest information.
The manual quotes, captured screen displays and graphics, with the aim
to introduce the digital camera through detailed and direct methods.
Due to the differences of technical R&D and production batch, those
captured screen displays and graphics indicated in the manual may be
different from that of actual digital camera.
Instructions for using the memory card
●In case of using a newly purchased memory card for the first time, or
data available in the memory card unrecognized by the camera or image
captured by other cameras, please ensure that you format the memory
card before use;
● Before plugging in or out the memory card, please first disconnect the
power supply of the camera;
● After using for many times, the performance of the memory card will
be lower. In case of low performance, a new memory card is needed.
● The memory card is a precise electronic device. Please don't bend it
and keep it away from falling down.
● Don't expose the memory card to any strong electromagnetic or
magnetic field, like placing near speaker or TV receiver.
● Don't use or keep the memory card in high or low temperatures;
●Keep the memory card clean and away from any sort of liquid. In case
of contacting liquid, please dry it with a soft cloth;
●In case of keeping the memory card idle, place put it into the card
sleeve;
● Please note that the memory card will get hot after long-term of use,
and this is normal.
● Don't use a memory card that has been used on other digital cameras.
If so you need to format the memory card on the camera;
●In case of any of the following actions with the memory card, the
recorded data may be damaged:
- Improper use of the memory card;
- Disconnect the power supply or take the memory card out during
recording, deleting (formatting) or reading files.
TF high-speed card (multimedia memory card) at Class6 or above is
required for this.

Getting Started
Insert the (Micro SD card) with the notched corner in the direction
asillustrated
System Settings
Please make sure to place the batteries inside of the camera before
using.
1.1 First open the camera by swiveling the base plate. Find the battery
compartment cover to open it. Insert 4 or 8 X1.5V AA batteries into the
battery slot.
1.2 If you put inside 4pcs X1.5V batteries, make sure to place them all
in first half of the battery compartment or the second half battery
compartment. 4pcs batteries are not allowed to be put in both first half
and second battery compartments.
1.3 If you want to use the power adapter (not included) as a power
supply, open the round rubber seal on the base camera and connect the
plug of the adapter cable into the socket.
1.4 Inserting memory card.
Note: The camera doesn't have built-in hard disk memory. A memory
card must be inserted into the camera before using. After inserting the
memory card, make sure to format the memory card in the camera first.
System Settings
1. Power on and off / System settings
After inserting the batteries into the camera, put the operating mode
selector switch to “SETUP” position to make the settings described on
the following pages. In SETUP mode, the infrared lamp is closed.
1.1 To put the operating mode selector switch from “OFF” to “SETUP”,
the camera is on.the camera is on.
1.2 Press the Up/Down key to switch modes between photo and video
mode.
1.3 Press the MENU key to open settings menu. Press OK to confirm the
setting changes.
1.4 Press the MENU key one more time to return to previous menu or
exit the settings MENU.
1.5 switch the mode selector to “OFF” to power off the camera.

2. Working modes:
There are three working modes in the camera: Photo mode, Video mode,
Photo + Video mode.
2.1 Photo mode
Select a photo size: 1MP, 3MP, 5MP, 8MP, 14MP. The larger the file size is,
the more detailed photos you would have. However, the larger files take
more space to store on the memory card.
2.2 Video mode
Select the video resolution:
1920X1080.1280X720.720X480.640X480.320X240.
The higher the resolution is, the more detailed videos you would have.
However, the larger files take more space to store on the memory card.
2.3 Photo +Video mode.
In Photo + Video mode, the camera first takes a photo and then starts
filming video.
3. Video length
The video length is optional between 1-60seconds or 1-10 minutes. The
longer the recording time selected, the shorter the operating time is.
The preset video length is 5 seconds.
4. Shot lag
The shot lag time can be selected between 5-60 seconds or 1-60 minutes.
This Interval is set so that the camera will have a break time between two
shots.During the selected interval, the camera will not record any images
or videos. It prevents the memory card from being filled up with too
many recordings of the same event.
5. Sensitivity of the motion sensors
The sensitivity of the main motion sensor is set here. For interior areas
and environments with little interference, select “High”. Select “Medium”
for exterior areas and environment with a normal amount of interference,
and select “Low” for an environment with a high level of interference.
6. Target recording time
Here is to set the target recording time of the camera. Press “MENU” to
find “Target recording time”. Press “OK”, and then select “ON” to set
the starting working and ending working time. After finishing setting, the
camera only works during the set time every day. Beyond the period, the
camera is in standby.

7. Time lapse
Here to set Time lapse shooting. Press “MENU” to find “Time lapse”.
Press “OK”, then select “ON” to set the time interval, and set the values
of Hr, Min and Sec. For example, if the process of flowers blooming has
to be recorded, time lapse can be used. The camera automatically
takes pictures in every set time intervals.
8. Time & Date
Here to set the date format. Press “MENU” to find “Time & Date”. Press
“OK”, then select “ON” to select the settings.
Set time & date: Set the time and date according to current time. Press
Left/Right key to choose the number and change the value by pressing
Up/Down key. Confirm the changes with “OK” key.
Time formats: 12/24hr
Date formats: dd/mm/yyyy, yyyy/mm/dd, mm/dd/yyyy
9. Password protection
Here to set the protection password of the camera. Press MENU to find
Select “Password protection”. Press “OK”, and then select “ON” to set
the password of the camera. The password is a 4-digit number selected
between 0-9. If the password is lost, press MENU key and REPLAY at the
same time, and slide the operating mode selector switch from OFF to
SETUP position. The camera is unlocked.
10. Serial numbers
Here to set the serial number of the camera. Press “MENU” to find
“Serial numbers”.
Press “OK”, and then select “ON” to set the serial number for the
camera. The serial number is a 4-digit number selected between 0-9.
11. Playback
Take down the camera from where it's fixed. Slide the operating mode
selector switch to “SETUP” position. Press replay key and Up/Down key
to review the photos/videos.
While reviewing photos, press Up/Down key to page up/down. While
reviewing videos, press OK key to start playing, press OK one more

11.1 Delete selection
You can use this function to delete individual recordings from the
memory card. Press MENU key under the mode of playback, move the
select bar to “Delete current file” and press OK to delete the selected
recording.
11.2 Delete all recordings
You can use this function to delete all recordings from the memory card.
Press MENU key under the mode of playback, move the selection bar to
“Delete all files” and press OK to delete all recordings.
11.3 Activate slide show
This function can be used to play back the photos stored on the memory
card automatically. Each photo is shown for about 2 seconds. To stop the
slide show and keep the current image permanently on the screen, press
the OK button.
11.4 Write protection
This function can be used to protect individual recordings of all saved
recordings from accidental deletion.
Select “Write-protect current file” to protect the currently selected
recording from accidental deletion.
Select “Write-protect all files” to protect all saved recordings from
accidental deletion.
Select “Unlock current file” to remove the write protection for the
currently selected recording.
Select “Unlock all files” to remove the write protection for all saved
recordings.
1. Aligning the camera
In SETUP mode you can work out the optimum exposure angle and the
range of the motion sensor.
1.1 During alignment consider whether the use of the side motion
sensors may be useful for attaining the desired observation results.
1.2 Align the camera as follows:
Fasten the camera to a tree or similar object at a height of 1-2 meters
and align the camera in the desired direction. Then move slowly from

one side of the target area to the other side. While doing this, monitor
the motion display.
Operating Principle sensors. If it lights up in red, you have been detected
by the front motion sensor. In this case, you can work out the best
alignment for the camera.
1.3 The motion display only lights up when operating mode selector
switch is in the SETUP position and one of the motion sensors has
detected movement. During normal operation, there will be no LED
display in this area.
1.4 To ensure that the camera doesn't make unwanted recordings of
irrelevant movements, it should not be set up in a sunny location or close
to branches. The detecting range of the sensors is 110°. And the
recording angle of the camera is about 100°.
2. Normal working mode
In this mode, recordings are triggered via the motion sensors.
To set live mode, slide the operating mode selector switch to the “ON”
position. After 15 seconds, the LED of motion display will go off.
Then the camera will start to operate independently and will go into
standby mode. As soon as any wild animals or similar object enter the
detecting range of the side motion sensors, the camera will be activated
and detect the motion. If the wild animal keeps moving to the detecting
range of the central sensor zone, the camera will start capturing photos
and/or videos (depending on the configuration).
After the wild animal moves out of the detecting range of side motion
sensors, the camera turns off and goes back into standby mode.
3. Night working mode
3.1 During night exposures the infrared LEDs on the front of the camera
provide the required light for taking pictures. The range of the LEDs
makes the camera start shooting
3.2 Please note that pictures taken in night exposures are black and white.
When recording a video for a long time, the low voltage may have great
influence on the stability of the camera. So in case of the low voltage,
it better not to record in the evening.
Note: When using the camera at night, the electric current would
increase because of the infrared lamps. If the camera is in low battery
mode, it would not shoot photos or film videos at night. Meanwhile
once daylight is available, the camera works normally even in low battery.

Mounting
1. TV connections
The camera can transfer the video signal to an external monitor or the
video input of a television set. Please also follow the instructions of the
respective playback device.
1.1 Turn on your TV, connect the TV with the camera through AV to 3.5mm
cable.
1.2 Turn on the camera, and slide the operating mode selector to
“SETUP”.
1.3 After connecting, the camera enters the mode of playback and the
LCD turns off.
The camera recordings would be shown on the TV.
2. Transferring recordings to a computer
Connect the camera to the computer through data cable. Once you have
successful connection, a new driver named mass storage would appear
on the computer. Photos and videos can be found in “DCIM/100MEDIA”
in the mass storage and can be copied to the computer.
Note: please don't disconnect the cable or take out the memory card
when copying photos/videos.

Anweisungen zur Nutzung der Speicherkarte
● Falls Sie eine neue Speicherkarte zum ersten Mal verwenden möchten
oder Daten auf dieser vorhanden sind, die nicht von der Kamera erkannt
werden (bzw. Bilder von einer anderen Kamera), sollten Sie die
Speicherkarte vor der Verwendung formatieren.
● Bevor Sie die Speicherkarte in der Kamera platzieren oder diese
entnehmen, sollten Sie die Stromzufuhr der Kamera unterbinden.
● Nach der häufigen Nutzung der Speicherkarte wird die Speicherkarte
langsamer werden. In diesem Fall ist eine neue Speicherkarte
empfehlenswert.
● Die Speicherkarte ist ein sensible, präzises Elektrogerät. Bitte biegen
Sie dieses nicht und vermeiden Sie, die Karte fallen zu lassen.
●Setzen Sie die Speicherkarte nicht starken elektromagnetischen oder
magnetischen Feldern wie in der Nähe von Fernsehgeräten oder
Lautsprechern aus.
● Verwenden oder lagern Sie die Speicherkarte nicht in Umgebungen
mit hoher oder niedriger Temperatur.
● Lagern Sie die Speicherkarte an einem sauberen Ort auf, wo keine
Flüssigkeit die Speicherkarte beschädigen könnte. Im Falle des Kontakts
mit Flüssigkeiten, trocknen Sie die Speicherkarte bitte mit einem weichen

● Bitte beachten Sie, dass sich die Speicherkarte nach langer Nutzung
erhitzen wird. Dies ist normal.
● Verwenden Sie keine Speicherkarte, die mit anderen Digitalkameras
verwendet wurde. Oder formatieren Sie die Speicherkarte in der Kamera.

Legen Sie die Micro SD-Karte korrekt wie im Bild in die Kamera ein.
Systemeinstellungen
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, die Batterien vor der Verwendung korrekt
einzulegen.
1.1 Öffnen Sie zunächst die Kamera, indem Sie die Basisplatte
schwenken. Das Batteriefach muss nun geöffnet werden. Legen Sie 4
oder 8 1,5V AA-Batterien in das Batteriefach ein.
1.2 Wenn Sie 4 1,5V AA-Batterien einlegen, legen Sie diese bitte in die
erste Hälfte des Batteriefachs oder in die zweite Hälfte des Batteriefachs
ein. Wenn Sie 4 AA-Batterien verwenden, dürfen diese nicht in beiden
Hälften des Batteriefachs eingelegt werden.
1.3 Wenn Sie einen Stromadapter verwenden möchten (nicht enthalten),
öffnen Sie den Gummiverschluss an der Unterseite der Kamera und
verbinden den Adapter mit einer Steckdose.
1.4 Einlegen der SD-Speicherkartey.
Hinweis: Die Kamera verfügt über keine eingebaute Festplatte. Es wird
eine Speicherkarte benötigt, damit die Kamera verwendet werden kann.
Nach dem Einlegen der Speicherkarte, sollten Sie diese zunächst in der
Kamera formatieren.

Systemeinstellungen
1. An- und ausschalten / Systemeinstellungen
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien in die Kamera schalten Sie die
Modusauswahl auf „SETUP”, um die auf den folgenden Seiten
beschrieben Änderungen vorzunehmen. Im SETUP-Modus ist die
Infrarot-Lampe geschlossen.
1.1 Um den Modus zu wechseln, schalten Sie die Modusauswahl von
„OFF” zu „SETUP”. Die Kamera schaltet sich ein.
1.2 Drücken Sie die Hoch/Runter Tasten, um zwischen dem Video- und
Fotomodus zu wechseln.
1.3 Drücken Sie die MENÜ-Taste, um das Einstellungsmenü zu öffnen.
Drücken Sie auf OK, um die Einstellungen zu speichern.
1.4 Drücken Sie die MENÜ-Taste einmal mehr, um zum vorherigen Menü
zurückzukehren oder um das Einstellungsmenü zu verlassen.
1.5 Schalten Sie die Modusauswahl wieder auf „OFF”, um die Kamera
auszuschalten.
2. Betriebsmodi:
Die Kamera verfügt insgesamt über drei Betriebsmodi: Fotomodus,
Videomodus, Foto- und Videomodus.
2.1 Fotomodus
Wählen Sie eine gewünschte Größe: 1MP, 3MP, 5MP, 8MP, 14MP. Je
größer die Dateigröße, umso detaillgenauere Fotos werden Sie haben.
Jedoch wird auch die benötigte Speicherkapazität auf der Speicherkarten
ansteigen.
2.2 Videomodus
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Videoauflösung aus:
1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, 720 x 480, 640 x 480, 320x 240.
Je höher die Auflösung, umso detailgenauer die Videos. Doch größere
Dateigrößen benötigen auch mehr Speicherkapazitäten auf der
Speicherkarte.
2.3 Foto- und Videomodus
Im Foto- und Videomodus nimmt die Kamera zuerst ein Foto auf und
beginnt dann zu filmen.
3. Videolänge
Die Videolänge kann optional 1-60 Sekunden bzw 1-10 Minuten dauern.
Je länger die Aufnahme, umso kürzer ist die Betriebszeit. Die
standardmäßige Einstellung beträgt 5 Sekunden.
4. Aufnahme-Intervall
Das Aufnahme-Intervall kann 5-60 Sekunden oder 1-60 Minuten betragen.

Während des ausgewählten Intervalls wird die Kamera keine Bilder oder
Videos aufnehmen. Dies verhindert, dass sich die Speicherkarte mit zu
vielen Aufnahmen füllt.
5. Sensibilität der BewegungsmelderDie
Sensibilität der Haupt-Bewegungsmelder kann hier eingestellt werden.
Für Umgebungen mit wenig Aktivität können Sie „Hoch” auswählen.
Wählen Sie „Mittel” für Umgebungen mit normalen Aktivitäten sowie
„Niedrig” für viele Aktivitäten aus.
6. Zielaufnahmezeit
Hier können Sie die Zielaufnahmezeit der Kamera festlegen. Drücken Sie
auf „MENÜ” und finden Sie „Zielaufnahmezeit”. Drücken Sie auf „OK”
und wählen Sie dann „AN” aus, um die Anfangs- und Endzeit festzulegen.
Nachdem Sie die Einstellung vorgenommen haben, wird die Kamera
täglich zwischen diesen Zeitpunkten agieren. In der restlichen Zeit
befindet sich die Kamera im Standby-Modus.
7. Zeitraffer
Hier können Sie Zeitraffer-Aufnahmen einstellen. Drücken Sie auf
„MENÜ” und gehen Sie dann auf „Zeitraffer”. Klicken Sie auf „OK” und
auf „ON”, um das Zeitintervall festzulegen. Legen Sie nun die Werte für
Stunden, Minuten und Sekunden fest. Zum Beispiel können Sie Blumen
beim Blühen filmen. In diesem Fall ist das Zeitraffer ideal. Die Kamera
nimmt automatisch Bilder zu den festgelegten Intervallen auf.
8. Zeit und Datum
Hier können Sie das Datumformat festlegen. Drücken Sie auf „MENÜ”
und gehen Sie auf „Zeit & Datum”. Drücken Sie auf „OK” und dann auf
„AN”, um die Einstellungen vorzunehmen.
Datum und Zeit festlegen: Legen Sie die Zeit und das Datum fest.
Drücken Sie die Links/Rechts Tasten, um die Ziffer zu wählen und
Hoch/Runter, um den Wert anzupassen. Bestätigen Sie die Änderungen
mit OK.
Zeitformate: 12/24 Stunden
Datumsformate: tt/mm/jjjj, jjjj/mm/tt, mm/tt/jjjj；

9. Passwortschutz
Hier können Sie den Passwortschutz für die Kamera einstellen. Drücken
Sie auf „MENÜ” und gehen Sie auf „Passwortschutz”. Drücken Sie auf
„OK” und wählen Sie dann „AN” aus, um den Passwortschutz der
Kamera festzulegen. Das Passwort ist eine vierstellige Zahl mit Ziffern
zwischen 0-9. Wenn Sie das Passwort vergessen, drücken Sie die
MENÜ-Taste und die WIEDERGABE - Taste gleichzeitig und bewegen
dabei die Modusauswahl von OFF auf SETUP. Die Kamera ist nun
entsperrt.
10. Seriennummern
Hier können Sie die Seriennummer der Kamera festlegen. Drücken Sie
auf „MENU” und gehen Sie dann auf „Seriennummer”. Drücken Sie auf
„OK” und dann auf „AN”, um die Seriennummer für die Kamera
festzulegen. Die Seriennummer ist eine vierstellige Zahl mit Ziffern
zwischen 0-9.
11. Wiedergabe
Nehmen Sie die Kamera in die Hand. Bewegen Sie die Modusauswahl
auf die „SETUP“ Position. Drücken Sie nun die Wiedergabe-Taste und
die Hoch/Runter-Tasten, um sich die Fotos und Videos anzusehen.
Während dem Ansehen der Fotos drücken Sie auf Hoch/Runter, um nach
oben und unten zu scrollen. Beim Ansehen von Videos drücken Sie auf
OK, um die Wiedergabe zu starten und zu stoppen. Drücken Sie erneut
auf die Wiedergabe-Taste, um zum Standby-Modus zurückzukehren.
11.1 Auswahl löschen
Sie können diese Funktion nutzen, um einzelne Aufnahmen auf der
Speicherkarte zu löschen. Drücken Sie die MENÜ-Taste im Wiedergabe-
Modus und wählen Sie „Aktuelle Datei löschen” aus. Klicken Sie auf OK,
um die ausgewählte Datei zu löschen.
11.2 Alle Aufnahmen löschen
Sie können diese Funktion nutzen, um alle Aufnahmen auf der
Speicherkarte zu löschen. Drücken Sie auf die „MENÜ“ Taste im
Wiedergabe-Modus und wählen Sie „Alle Dateien löschen” aus. Klicken
Sie auf OK, um alle Aufnahmen zu löschen.
11.3 Diashow aktivieren
Diese Funktion kann genutzt werden, um die auf der Speicherkarte
gespeicherten Fotos automatisch wiederzugeben. Jedes Foto wird dabei
für zwei Sekunden angezeigt. Um die Diashow zu stoppen und das
aktuelle Bild dauerhaft anzuzeigen, drücken Sie auf die OK Taste.
11.4 Dateischutz
Diese Funktion kann genutzt werden, um einzelne Aufnahmen unter

allen Aufnahmen vor dem versehentlichen Löschen zu schützen.
Wählen Sie „Schütze aktuelle Datei” aus, um die aktuell ausgewählte

1. Die Kamera ausrichten
Im Testmodus können Sie den besten Winkel und die Reichweite des
Bewegungsmelders probieren.
1.1 Während der Ausrichtung sollten Sie beachten, ob die Nutzung der
Bewegungsmelder für die gewünschten Aufnahmen von Nutzen ist.
1.2 Richten Sie die Kamera folgendermaßen aus:
Bringen Sie die Kamera an einem Baum oder einem ähnlichen Objekt in
1-2 Metern Höhe und in die gewünschte Richtung an. Bewegen Sie die
Kamera dann langsam von einer Seite des Zielbereichs in die andere.
Achten Sie dabei auf die Bewegungsmelder.
Die Funktionsweise der Sensoren. Wenn die Lichter rot leuchten, wurden
Sie vor dem Bewegungsmelder erkannt. In diesem Fall können Sie
Ausrichtung so belassen oder weiter anpassen.
1.3 Das Bewegungs-Display leuchtet nur dann, wenn sich die
Modustaste in der SETUP Position befindet und einer der
Bewegungsmelder eine Bewegung erkannt hat. Im Normalbetrieb gibt
es in diesem Bereich keine LED Leuchten.
1.4 Um sicherzustellen, dass die Kamera keine ungewünschten
Bewegungen aufnimmt, sollten Sie diese nicht in sonnigen Umgebungen
oder in der Nähe von Ästen ausrichten. Der Erkennungsbereich der
Sensnoren beträgt 110°. Der Aufnahmewinkel der Kamera beträgt gut
100°.
2. Normaler Betriebsmodus
In diesem Modus werden die Aufnahmen durch die Bewegungsmelder
ausgelöst.
