Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install
the product.
WARNING
●This light fixture is designed to fit standard junction boxes as defined by the National Electrical
Code.
●To prevent electric shock, ensure that the power is disconnected before installation.
●Consult a qualified electrician if you are not certain about the installation process. Always install
wiring connections in accordance with local code, ordinances and the National Electric Code.
● Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
●Apart from installation or to access the memory card, do not attempt to open the unit as this may
invalidate your warranty.
●Interference to other equipment or from other equipment may be caused by other such
equipment not being regulated correctly in order to avoid receiving or emitting interference.

INSTALLATION INFORMATION
●CAUTION: To avoid water damage and the risk of electrical shock, the motion sensor controls
must be facing the ground when the installation is complete.
●NOTE: Do not connect this light fixture to a dimmer switch or timer.
●NOTE: Do not install motors, transformers, or fluorescent light fixtures on the same circuit with the
fixture.
●NOTE: Do not install the unit near or above ventilation or heat extractors.
●NOTE: This fixture is designed for outdoor installation and should be mounted to a wall or eaves.
The detector is less sensitive to motion directly toward it and more sensitive to crossways motion.

Note: Light fixture should be mounted as shown above when installed, depending on type of
installation.
PREPARATION
Before beginning to assemble or install lighting fixture, make sure all parts are present. Compare
parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do
not attempt to assemble the product.
●Estimated Assembly Time: 20 - 40 minutes (Installation time will vary depending on skill level
and existing wiring conditions. Estimated installation time assumes standard wall junction box and
supply wiring are already installed).
●Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, silicone
caulking adhesive, smartphone.
●Helpful Items (not included): step ladder.
●This fixture must be installed in an area with Wi-Fi coverage. Make sure available Wi-Fi has a
speed of at least 2 MB/s.
●It is recommended to install this fixture at a height of 8.2 ft.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn OFF power to work area at main circuit breaker or fuse
box.
CAUTION: Do not rely on wall switch alone to turn off power.
2. Unscrew the screw pre-assembled in fixture (A).
3. Remove the mounting plate of the fixture by pressing the top
button.

4. Remove the crossbar from the fixture mounting plate by
unscrewing the screw pre-assembled in the mounting plate.
Then attach the crossbar to the junction box (not included) with
the two crossbar screws (AA).
Note: The outlet box can be on the wall or ceiling.

5. Connect ground wire from the outlet box to the ground screw on
the crossbar. Connect white wire from the outlet box to the white
wire from the fixture by twisting a wire nut (BB) onto bare ends of
the wires. Connect the black wire from the outlet box to the black
wire from the fixture by twisting a wire nut (BB) onto the bare
ends of the wires.
Make sure wire connections are secure. Carefully place wires
into junction box. Position the fixture base over the crossbar. Put
the screw removed in Step 4 through the center hole and into
the crossbar and tighten the screw until secure. DO NOT
overtighten.
If wall mounted, ensure the fixture base is mounted correctly
6. Attach the fixture body to the mounting plate. If eave mounted,
rotate the fixture to the right position.

7. Use the screw removed in Step 2 to secure the fixture (A).
8. After mounting the fixture (A), apply silicone caulking compound
completely around the perimeter of the cover plate where the
back of the cover plate meets the mounting surface. Silicone
caulking prevents water from seeping into the junction box.
Note: If wall mounted, the pin hole must be sealed to avoid
water damage.
Installation is now complete. Turn on power at circuit breaker and flip wall switch to ON position.
Wall switch must remain in the ON position for the motion detector to work properly.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. If needed, gently grasp the lamp heads
(A) and tilt them up or down or side to
side to adjust the light coverage area.
2. Rotating the camera to adjust the camera area.
3. Coverage area
•The motion detector has a coverage area of about 270°.
When the light is first installed, you must aim the detector
head to cover the desired area.
4. Downloading the mobile app
Download the LUTEC app by searching the word “SECURY’LIGHT”.
• iOS Devices –Download the app from the App StoreSM.
•Android Devices –Download the app from the Google Play™ store.

5. Connecting the light to the mobile app
• Test Wi-Fi: Open the SECURY’LIGHT > Press at the center of the screen > Press
support > Press the SET UP > Press
• Rapid configuration: Open the SECURY’LIGHT > Press at the center of the
screen > Enter your Wi-Fi network and password then click > Click to Setup your
camera password > Press waiting, then watching.
Note: Password only ask for the first time, if you change the Phone or reinstall the APP you need
input again.
6. How to play
• Play back-See the recorded video feed.
• Hold to talk-Press the microphone button and chat live with the guest at your front door.
• Record-Save video to your device.
• Screenshot-Save pictures to your device.
• Sound-Turn on/off the sound of the video.
7. Adding name and browsing history
• Rename-Click the LUTEC word, then you can rename the device you want.
• History-Press and choose the DATE, then slide the progress bar watch video of red part.
• Rotate your phone for full screen, use two fingers to zoom.
Note: In the history page, you can view all the trace activity videos, Press and choose the right
time line, find the history when you want to see. ( we offer 8GB SD card in the fixture and this
can fully record with 8-9 hours, when you install at some quite place this can last more than
two weeks because the SECURY’LIGHT only record when trace some people or car
movement).

8. Setting the ALERT
Move the button to select the ALERT settings: Without ALERT, Message ALERT, Message &
sound ALERT.
9. Setting the MODE
•TEST mode: Use this to test the PIR-sensor.
The parameters is default, reaction Light Level: 100%, continuous Light Level: 20%.
If you press you will see the note “Please change the MODE setting”.
•PIR mode: Activates the system when movement/people are detected.
Press to do more Security Level settings.
• Light On mode: Allows the light to stay on permanently.
Under this mode, you can adjust Reaction Light Level.
Press to adjust Reaction Light Level.
10. Adjusting the Security Level settings
Under PIR mode:
• Press in the top right corner, then enter the Security Level settings.
• Predefined presets for your convenience: LOW security, MIDDLE security, HIGH security.
• When you want full control, you can set it to CUSTOM and define your own settings:
Sensor Activation Level:
Bright/Dark here is used to describe ambient light. This setting decides the lamp will work under
what brightness of ambient light.
Sensor Detection Distance:
Once people come into the distance you set, the light will work.
Activation Light Level:
The brightness when sensing the people. Adjust the brightness among 30% to 100%.
Activation Light Time:
You can select 1MIN, 3MIN, 10MIN or 15MIN.
After the time, the light will turn to standard brightness.
Continuous Light Level:
The brightness without people.
Adjust the brightness of lamp among 0% to 40%.

Continuous Light Time:
You can select DUSK/DAWN, 2H, 4H, 6H, or 10H.
After the time you set, the light will turn off automatically.
Alert Level:
You can choose to set your alert sensitivity.
Low =sensor and camera detection, Middle =sensor detection only, High = sensor and or camera
detection.
11. Adding more SECURY’LIGHT
You have two ways to add more SECURY’LIGHT:
• Press in the top left corner. After well installation with your second SECURY’LIGHT,
press “+” to do the same set up process as explained at before.
• When you just want to add the new camera which already setup successfully by your family
member or friends, then you can follow the below process:
1. Press to access More page.
2. Press “add the sharing camera”, use the scan function to scan the QR code or
directly input the serial number.
3. When add successfully, the system will automatically go to the live page, press
“ ” to start the live video.
12. Sharing your SECURY’LIGHT
• Press to access More page.
• Press share camera.
• Then you can share your SECURY’LIGHT, for example: you can share by Message.
13. Reset operation
•If the fixture doesn't work, press the reset button until
you hear a voice say “Restore factory setting; please
don’t turn off”. Wait for about 1 minute until the red light
flashes. The reset has been successful.

14. Change SD card
•Turn the SD cover clockwise to replace or remove the
SD card.
•The SD card can only save 8-9 hours of video content.
•If the SD card is full, it will automatically delete
existing video content.
15. Indicator light guide:
•Red light is on - the light is starting up;
•Red light flashes - the light is waiting for Wi-Fi connection;
•Green light flashes quickly - connecting to the Wi-Fi;
•Green light flashes slowly - connection succeeded.
16. Support
• When you meet a problem and can’t solve by yourself, you can go to the support page, in this
page you can find most of answer that you want.
• If you still can’t figure out the problem, please contact us by mail.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
Avoid aiming the sensor at:
1. Objects that might produce heat and may cause false triggers, such as:
● Pools of water ● Air conditioners ● Animals
● Automobile traffic ● Heating vents ● Dryer vents
2. Objects that may reflect light at the sensor, triggering the shut-off feature. Do not aim the sensor
at other lights, or aim other lights at the sensor.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
This LED motion-activated light provides maintenance-free service with no bulbs to change.
To clean, turn OFF all power to circuit and clean surfaces with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
CAUTION: Turn OFF all power to circuit at main circuit breaker or fuse box. DO NOT rely on
wall switch alone to turn off power.
To make sure the fixture functions properly, always keep the wall switch in the “ON” position
(including the daytime).
WARRANTY
FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
If this product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship within five (5) years from the date
of purchase, return it along with proof of date of purchase and it will be replaced with the same or
comparable model free of charge.
This warranty is void if damage or defect has resulted from accident, abuse, misuse or faulty
repair.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to
state.
IN NO EVENT WILL LIABILITY EXTEND TO ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL
OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR MISUSE OF THIS
PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION

AVERTISSEMENT
●Ce luminaire est conçu pour être connectéaux boîtes de jonction standard en vertu du Code
national de l’électricité.
●Afin de prévenir les chocs électriques, veillez à débrancher l’alimentation avant de procéder à
l’installation.
●Faites appel à un électricien qualifié si vous n’êtes pas certain de la marche à suivre pour
l’installation. Effectuez toutes les connexions du câblage conformément au code du bâtiment et aux
règlements locaux, ainsi qu’au Code national de l’électricité.

●Une fois le luminaire allumé, la température des ampoules augmente graduellement. Tant que les

remplacez une ampoule, coupez d’abord l’alimentation électrique et attendez que l’ampoule ait
entièrement refroidi.
●L’ampoule ne doit pas dépasser la puissance maximale précisée.
●Pour contrôler manuellement le luminaire, il doit être raccordéàun interrupteur.

l’option de sélection de la région.
RENSEIGNEMENTS SUR L’INSTALLATION
●ATTENTION : Pour éviter les risques de choc électrique et les dommages que pourrait causer
l’eau, les commandes des détecteurs de mouvement doivent être orientées vers le sol lorsque
l’installation est terminée.
●REMARQUE : Ne reliez pas ce luminaire àun gradateur ni àune minuterie.
●REMARQUE : N’installez pas de moteurs, de transformateurs, ni de luminaires fluorescents sur
le même circuit que celui du luminaire.
●REMARQUE : N’installez pas cet article près ou au-dessus de toute ventilation ou d’un dispositif
d’extraction de la chaleur.
●REMARQUE : Ce luminaire est conçu pour un usage à l’extérieur et doit être fixé à un mur ou à
un avant-toit.
Le détecteur est moins sensible aux mouvements qui vont directement vers lui qu’aux mouvements
qui traversent latéralement la zone de détection.

Installation murale

REMARQUE : Le luminaire doit être fixécomme illustréci-dessus, en fonction du type d’installation.
PRÉPARATION
Avant de commencer àassembler ou àinstaller le luminaire, assurez-vous d’avoir toutes les pièces.
Comparez le contenu de l’emballage avec la liste des pièces et celle de la quincaillerie incluse. S’il
y a des pièces manquantes ou endommagées, ne tentez pas d’assembler l’article.
●Temps d’assemblage approximatif : de 20 à40 minutes. (La durée de l’installation peut varier
en fonction du niveau d’habiletéde la personne et de l’état du câblage électrique existant. Elle
suppose également qu’une boîte de sortie murale et de câblage d’alimentation est déjà installée.)
●Outils nécessaires pour l’assemblage (non inclus) : tournevis cruciforme, tournevis àtête plate,
calfeutrage adhésif àbase de silicone et téléphone intelligent.
●Articles utiles (non inclus) : escabeau.
●Ce luminaire doit être installédans une zone ayant une couverture Wi-Fi. Assurez-vous que le
réseau Wi-Fi fonctionne àune vitesse minimale de 2 Mo/s.
●Il est recommandéd’installer ce luminaire àune hauteur de 2,49 m.
INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’ASSEMBLAGE
1. Coupez l’alimentation de la zone de travail à partir du panneau
de disjoncteurs ou de fusibles.
ATTENTION : Ne vous fiez pas uniquement à l’interrupteur mural
pour couper l’alimentation électrique.

2. Dévissez la vis préassemblée au luminaire (A).
3. Retirez la plaque de fixation du luminaire en appuyant sur le
bouton du haut.
4. Retirez la traverse de la plaque de fixation du luminaire en
dévissant la vis préassemblée àla plaque de fixation. Puis fixez
la traverse à la boîte de sortie (non incluse) à l’aide des deux vis
de traverse (AA).
Remarque : Cette boîte de sortie peut être installée sur un mur
ou au plafond.
