DESCRIPTION:
A FM tuner that may be used as music source to provide background music for both a paging system and
music-on-hold for a telephone system. The FM tuner provides two separate outputs ,each with their own volume
control. The tuner includes bass & treble controls ,internal/external output speaker switch, and is shipped with a FM
dipole antenna.

MODEL V-2952 FM TUNER
The FM Tuner shall have a tuning range of 87.5 mHz to 108.5 mHz. Distortion shall be less than 2% with a S/N ratio
of greater than -50 dB. The power output shall be .5 watts on the 8 ohm output and 245 mV on the line output. The unit shall
operate from 12 Vdc or -24 Vdc.
Tuning aids shall include a signal strength indicator and local/distance switch. The unit shall also include the following
features: two separate outputs with independent volume controls, bass and treble controls centered at 100 Hz and 10 kHz
respectively providing 10 dB of boost or cut, an internal speaker with a switch allowing station adjustments before sending the
music to the sound and telephone systems, and a 75 ohm antenna connector. The tuner shall be supplied with an FM dipole
antenna.
The FM Tuner shall be a Valcom Model V-2952 or equivalent.
The dimensions shall be 6.19" (15.72 cm) H x 8.25" (20.96 cm) W x 1.55" (3.94 cm) D. Approximate weight shall be
2.2 lbs (.99 kg).
Limited Warranty
Valcom, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of nor-
mal use and service for a period of one year from the date of shipment. The obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the re-
placement, repair or refund of any such defective device within the warranty period, provided that:
1. inspection by Valcom, Inc. indicates the validity of the claim,
2. the defect is not the result of damage, misuse, or negligence after the original shipment,
3. the product has not been in any way repaired by others and that factory sealed units are unopened.
(A service charge plus parts and labor will be applied to units defaced or physically damaged).
4. freight charges for the return of products to Valcom, Inc. are prepaid,
5. all units “out of warranty” are subject to a service charge. The service charge will cover minor repairs
(major repairs will be subject to additional charges for parts and labor).
This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties expressed or implied, and in no event shall
Valcom, Inc. be liable for any anticipated profits, consequential damages, loss of time or other losses incurred by the buyer in
connection with the purchase, operation or use of the product.
This warranty specifically excludes damage incurred in shipment. In the event a product is received in damaged condition, the
carrier should be notified immediately. Claims for such damage should be filed with the carrier involved in accordance with the F.O.B.
point.
