In order to avoid injuries to persons and damage to the equipment,
it is mandatory to observe instructions marked with this symbol.
Note/Tip!
This symbol always gives you technical information or useful tips
regarding the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer.
The medical product was introduced after 13 August 2005. The
product may not be disposed of in normal household waste. The X
on the trash can indicates the necessity of disposing of this product
separately.
The device contains a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that
must be discharged before disposal.

Safety Recommendations
The packaging material (plastic bags,
boxes etc.) must be kept out of the
reach of children as it is a potential
source of danger.
People who require assistance must
be supervised constantly during
inhalation. Such persons often
underestimate the hazards involved
(e.g. strangulation with the power
adapter cord), thus resulting in a risk
of injury.
The device contains small parts
which can block the respiratory tract
and lead to choking. Therefore,
make sure that you always keep
the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer and
the accessories out of the reach of
babies and infants.
When charging the battery, use the
power adapter supplied with the
Vaporizer only. The use of products
from other sources can damage the
battery.
If you have any concerns, ask a spe-
cialist to check whether the electrical
system is in accordance with the
local safety regulations.
If there are any problems during
operation, immediately pull out the
power adapter from the socket.
The power adapter cord must be
unwound over its entire length
(avoid rolling up and overlapping the
cord). It must not be exposed to any
impacts and must be kept out of the
reach of children. Also, it must not be
kept near liquids or sources of heat
and must not be damaged. Do not
wind the power adapter cord tightly,
nor pull it over sharp edges and never
crush or kink it. If the power adapter
cord is damaged, please contact our
Service Center to have it replaced.
Never try to repair a power adapter
cord yourself!
The use of multiple sockets and/or
extension cables is not recommend-
ed. However, if this is absolutely
necessary, only products with a qual-
ity certificate (such as UL, IMQ, VED,
+S etc.) may be used, provided the
specified power exceeds the power
required (A= Ampere) by the devices
that are connected.
After use, the Vaporizer must be
placed on a stable, flat surface. To
be used only at a sufficient distance
away from heat sources (ovens,
stoves, fireplaces), and in locations
where the ambient temperature can-
not drop below +5°C (+41°F). Store
the Vaporizer and power adapter in
a dry place protected against the ef-
fects of weather and out of the reach
of children or unqualified persons.
It cannot be used in damp locations
(such as bathrooms etc.).

Do not operate the Vaporizer close to
flammable objects such as curtains,
tablecloths, or paper.
Keep the Vaporizer and power adapt-
er away from pets (e.g. hamsters,
mice) and other animals which could
damage the insulation of the power
adapter cord.
The Vaporizer and power adapter
may only be repaired by our Service
Center. Incorrectly performed repairs
without the use of original spare parts
can prove dangerous to the user.
Danger to life when opening the
power adapter as live components
and connections are exposed.
The Vaporizer must never be re-
paired or transported when the power
adapter is plugged in.
The Vaporizer and power adapter
must never be operated when the
power adapter cord is faulty.
Do not put any objects into the open-
ings of the device.
Do not leave the Vaporizer unat-
tended while it is being operated.
After use, switch off the heater.
The Vaporizer may not be obstructed
while the device is being used, nor
while it is cooling down.
Caution! Hot surfaces!
The Filling Chamber is made of
metal; do not touch it when it is hot.
The Dosing Capsule is made of
metal; do not touch it when it is hot.
Before cleaning, disconnect the
power adapter from the socket. The
Vaporizer and the power adapter
should be cleaned only with a dry
cloth - or a damp cloth if absolutely
necessary. Never immerse the Va-
porizer or the power adapter in water
or any other liquid, nor clean it with
direct jets of water or steam.
The Vaporizer and the power adapter
must not be used in damp or wet
conditions.
The Vaporizer is protected by an an-
gle of 15° against dropping water (IP
22). The device should nevertheless
be protected against moisture and
rain. Do not use in the bathroom or
above water.
Never touch the Vaporizer or power
adapter with wet or damp parts of the
body.
Never operate the Vaporizer or power
adapter when it is wet or damp. If the
Vaporizer or the power adapter gets
wet, it must be checked by our Ser-
vice Center for damage to electrical
components.
Do not use in an atmosphere with risk
of explosion or ignition.

3. INTENDED USE
The MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer is in-
tended for vaporizing and then inhal-
ing cannabinoids from hemp flowers
(cannabis flos).
The goal is the application of the ac-
tive ingredients in the human body via
the alveoli for the appropriate medical
indication.
It is suitable for the temporary inha-
lative application of cannabinoids
prescribed by a physician for use at
home, in a hospital, or doctor’s office.

The MIGHTY MEDIC Vapor-
izer ensures the highly effec-
tive, safe, and fast-acting ap-
plication of cannabinoids. The patient
must undergo a medical examination
before the beginning of treatment.
The MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer is not
intended for use in children and youth
under age 18. Adults may use the de-
vice following the Instructions for Use
or physician’s instructions.
Due to hygienic reasons, the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer
may be operated only with at-
tached (disposable) Lip Piece on the
Mouthpiece (see Chapter 8.1. „Dis-
posable Lip Piece for Hygienic Use“
from page 29 onwards).
The device is not to be used, if
the user has respiratory tract
or lung conditions. Depending
on the density, the vapor could irritate
respiratory tracts or lungs, which can
lead to coughing.
The application and inhalation is de-
scribed in Chapter 8.2. “Cooling Unit
with Mouthpiece” on page 30.
Before every use by another person,
the Cooling Unit and the Vaporizer
must be cleaned thoroughly (see in-
formation on the Cooling Unit and
Vaporizer from page 28 onwards).
Please note that damaged or
brittle Lip Pieces are not to be
used.
At a certain dosage, cannabis
can have a psychotropic
(mind-altering) effect.
Thus, there is a potential for abuse,
which governments in nearly all coun-
tries of the world counteract with cor-
responding laws.
Use only medicinal hemp flowers
(cannabis flos) prescribed by your
physician and purchased from a phar-
macy. Otherwise you may be at risk of
breaking the law.
In case of doubt, ask your physician,
pharmacist, or the responsible au-
thorities about the current laws at your
place of residence.
Cannabinoids vaporize at tempera-
tures over 180°C (356°F) and then
form an aerosol with an average drop-
let size (MMAD) of 0.64 µm (microm-
eter) that can be inhaled and respired.
The droplets are absorbed in the al-
veoli and enter the bloodstream (sys-
temic absorption).
When cannabinoids are inhaled, the
onset of the effect takes approx. 1-2
min. and the effects last for 2-4 hours.

Ambient conditions in which the
specified aerosol characteristics are
guaranteed:

The device features interference sup-
pression acc. to EN 60601-1-2 (see
Chapter 10.5. “Information on Electro-
magnetic Compatibility“, page 40).
Radiofrequency emitting equipment
(e.g. mobile phones) should not be
used in the immediate vicinity of the
device. In case of doubt, contact qual-
ified personnel.
Do not store any parts of the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer in wet rooms (e.g.
bathroom) or transport near damp
objects.

5. COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF THE
MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
5.1. Unpacking
The box contains all components as
well as the Instructions for Use. Keep
the Instructions for Use for future ref-
erence.
Remove the MIGHTY MEDIC Vapor-
izer and the accessories from the box.
Immediately after unpacking, check
whether the Vaporizer, the accesso-
ries, the power adapter and its device
plug are all included in the delivery
and work properly.
If you notice any defects, inform the
seller or the delivery agent immedi-
ately.
The packing material (plastic
bags, boxes etc.) must be
kept out of the reach of chil-
dren as it is a potential source of dan-
ger.
Please dispose of the packing mate-
rial in a proper and environmentally
friendly manner.
We recommend keeping the original
packaging in case it is required later
(transport, Service Centre, etc.).
5.2. Power Connection
Before connecting up the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer, make sure that the
information given on the power adapt-
er type label corresponds to the local
power supply voltage.
All parts of the electrical system must
comply with currently applicable offi-
cial regulations.
Place the heated Vaporizer only on a
hard, stable surface, and not on any
soft or heat-sensitive material.
Take care that the power adapter cord
cannot be damaged through kinking,
crushing or pulling.
Improper installation may
lead to personal injury or ma-
terial damages, for which the
manufacturer cannot be held respon-
sible.

5.3. Application and Operation
The MIGHTY MEDIC Vapor-
izer was developed for vapor-
izing the cannabinoids listed
in the instructions.
Any other use is inappropriate and po-
tentially dangerous.
The user should always follow the
instructions listed here for use and
maintenance.
If you have any concerns, or if there
are any problems immediately switch
off the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer and
pull the power adapter cord, if used,
from the socket. Do not try to remedy
the defect yourself. Contact our Ser-
vice Center directly.
After using the Vaporizer and power
adapter, allow them to cool down be-
fore placing them in storage.
Do not leave the device unat-
tended during operation.
Place the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer only on a hard, heat-resist-
ant, flat, stable surface, never on soft
surfaces or flammable material.
Check whether the power supply volt-
age corresponds to the voltage rating
listed on the power adapter. The pow-
er adapter cord and power adapter
must be in perfect condition. Connect
the power adapter only to a properly
installed socket.
The manufacturer will not bear any
responsibility whatsoever if this acci-
dent prevention measure is not taken.
Please unplug the power adapter from
the mains socket to completely dis-
connect from the mains power supply.
5.4. Charging the Battery
Explanation of the battery charging
display:
The battery charging display shows
a battery symbol with six fields indi-
cating the charging status. If the bat-
tery is almost discharged, the battery
frame starts to flash; if fully charged,
the frame and all six fields are visible.
The number of status fields visible
depends on the extent of the battery
charge.
Check the housings of the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer
and the power adapter for
signs of damage each time before us-
ing or charing. The Vaporizer may not
be charged and neither Vaporizer nor
power adapter used if these are dam-
aged.
5. COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF THE
MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
The battery charge of the new product
has a level of up to 80%. Fully charge
before using for the first time.
The charging time for the battery de-
pends on how old it is and how high
the charge is on starting; it takes
about two hours if the battery is com-
pletely discharged.
Connect the power adapter to the
charging socket of the MIGHTY MED -
IC Vaporizer and then plug into a suit-
able power socket.
Note: When the power adapter is
plugged into the mains, the dis-
play lights up for a moment and the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer vibrates
for a short time. This is a functional
check and indicates that the charging
operation has started.
The battery charging display lights up
and starts to flash, i.e. the battery is
being charged. As soon as the battery
is fully charged, the battery charging
display stops flashing and indicates
the charge level (full = all six fields).
Once the charging operation is com-
plete, first disconnect the power
adapter from the mains socket and
then unplug from the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer.
5. COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF THE
MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
Batteries are specially as-
sembled consumable items
that can only be replaced by
our Service Center when the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer is sent in to them.
Any attempt by the customer to re-
place the battery by him/herself is
potentially dangerous and leads to
loss of any claims under the warranty
and exempts Storz & Bickel from any
liability.

Mains Operation
The MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer can
also be operated with the power
adapter, even when the batteries are
completely discharged. Proceed as
described in Chapter 5.4. “Charging
the Battery”, page 18 and then
switch on the Vaporizer.
Automatic Switching Off
The automatic switching off is used
to save battery capacity so that the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer can be
used as long as possible without
charging.
The device switches off automatically
two minutes after the last press of a
button or the last application. The
switching off of the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer is indicated by a short vibra-
tion.
A short press of the ON/OFF
switch during operation can
reset the automatic switching-
off to two minutes.
5.5. Heating Up
The MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer pro-
vides two temperature levels that are
set in the factory: The basic tempera-
ture at 180°C (356°F) and the booster
temperature at 195°C (383°F).
5. COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF THE
MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
Switch on the device (heating up the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer with insert-
ed Dosing Capsule and Cooling Unit
mounted is recommended). To do this,
press the orange ON/OFF switch for
at least half a second. The Vaporizer
responds with a short vibration. The
vibration does not take place if there
is a fault.
The display signals that heating is in
progress by showing the set and ac-
tual temperatures. Set the desired
temperature (see Chapter 7. “The Use
of Hemp Flowers (Cannabis Flos)”,
page 25) using the temperature
buttons to the left and right of the set
temperature display. Heating up the
heat exchanger can take up to two
minutes, depending on the set tem-
perature and battery charge level.
Once the set temperature is reached,
this is signaled by a short double vi-
bration.
If the basic temperature can no longer
provide adequate evaporation, the
booster temperature can be activated
by means of a double-click on the or-
ange-colored ON/OFF switch. Once
the booster temperature is reached,
this is signaled by a short double vi-
bration and a blinking Set Tempera-
ture display.
5. COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF THE
MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
5.6. Temperature Setting
The temperature can be set between
40°C and 210°C (104°F and 410°F)
(see Chapter 7. „The Use of Hemp
Flowers (Cannabis Flos)“, page
25).
When you press the plus button, the
set value is increased, and when you
press the minus button, the set value
is decreased. When you briefly tap
on the plus or minus button, the set
values are increased or decreased
respectively in 1-degree increments.
If you keep the plus or minus button
pressed, the set values start running
continuously in the corresponding di-
rection.
The booster temperature can be ad-
justed in the same way. However, it
cannot be set lower than the previous
set temperature.
The current actual temperature can be
read from the upper line of the display.
Fahrenheit/Celsius
If you simultaneously tap on the plus
button and the minus button, the dis-
play changes from degree Celsius to
degree Fahrenheit and vice versa.
5.7. Reset to Default Settings
It is possible to reset settings. The
reset is made by pressing the ON/
OFF button for ten seconds while
the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer is
switched on. If the ON/OFF button
has been pressed for ten seconds,
the signaling of the reset is made by
vibration. The basic temperature is re-
set to 180°C (356°F) and the booster
temperature is reset to 195°C (383°F).

Dosing Capsules with Magazine
Dosing Capsule with removed cap
Currently, patients in practically all
countries, which allow the use of
hemp flowers for medical purposes,
get a prescription of a certain amount
of dried hemp flowers.
These hemp flowers are delivered
either as whole pieces or already
ground and have to be portioned and
weight out by the patient according
to the doctor’s directive. In case the
hemp flowers are not ground, they
have to be ground with the included
Herb Mill first.
Hemp flowers are ground
most easily when they are
cooled or frozen. The fridge or
freezer are suited for storing hemp
flowers.
The included 8 Dosing Capsules can
be filled with e.g. 50, 100 or up to 150
mg ground hemp flowers per capsule
and be stored in the magazine as a
reserve.
This makes usage easy. This way,
patients with fine motor dysfunction
for example, can have their daily dose
pre-filled in Dosing Capsules by the
nursing staff.
Inserting the Dosing Capsules into
the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer is con-
siderably easier than filling the Filling
Chamber with ground hemp flowers.
6.1. Filling the Dosing Capsules
If necessary, grind the hemp flowers.
Weight out the amount, which is rec-
ommended by the doctor, and fill the
Dosing Capsule by using the Maga-

Attach the cap onto the Dosing Cap-
sule. Repeat the filling process until
the desired amount of Dosing Cap-
sules is filled and insert them into the
magazine. The magazine can hold up
to 8 Dosing Capsules.

The Filling Chamber of the MIGHTY
MEDIC can be filled directly as well
(without a Dosing Capsule). For that
purpose, the Filling Aid is available as
an accessory, see Chapter 11. “Spare
Parts and Accessories” (REF 09 31),
page 47.
As soon as the lower Filling Chamber
Screen is clogged or shows depos-
its, a cleaning of the Filling Chamber
is needed. For that, please firstly re-
move the lower Screen as described
at the end of Chapter 9. “Disassembly
and Assembly of the MIGHTY MEDIC
Cooling Unit”, page 34 and clean
the Filling Chamber with a cotton
stick that has been soaked in alco-
hol. Please make sure that no alco-
hol drops into the inner of the device.
After cleaning, a new screen is to be
inserted.
Use only standardized, medicinal
hemp flowers (cannabis flos) that
have been tested by licensed produc-
ers for authenticity, purity, and patho-
gens according to the directives of the
competent authorities in your country.
Under no circumstances
should you use cannabis from
the illegal black market or any
other cannabis that has not been sub-
jected to recognised quality controls.
The amount of active ingredients in
these products is generally unknown,
may fluctuate considerably, and they
often contain herbicides, fertilizers,
bacteria, etc.
Reference values validated in studies
show that 50% of the hemp flowers’
cannabinoids are found in the aerosol
produced by the MIGHTY MEDIC Va-
porizer.
When this aerosol is inhaled, approx.
65% of this amount enter the blood-
stream through the pulmonary alveoli.
The rest is exhaled.
The medically effective cannabinoids
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD
(cannabidiol) behave in the same way.

When observing the Instructions for Use and with a vaporization temperature of
210°C (410°F) the following exemplary reference values are validated for hemp

7.1. Preparation
Make sure to use the Mouth-
piece only with attached Lip
Piece before every operation
(see Chapter 8.1. “Disposable Lip
Piece for Hygienic Use”, page 29).
Remove the Cooling Unit and insert
the prepared Dosing Capsule (see
Chapter 6. “Dosing Capsule with
Magazine”, page 22) or fill the Fill-
ing Chaber directly.
Mount the Cooling Unit on the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer and heat
up to 180°C (356°F). This ensures
that both the Filling Chamber and the
Dosing Capsule are preheated and
the vaporizing can begin as soon as
the heating process is completed.
Caution! Hot surface!
After using the MIGHTY MEDIC Va-
porizer, do not touch the Filling Cham-
ber or the Dosing Capsule until they
have cooled down again.
7.2. Application and Inhalation
It is recommended to begin inhalation
at a temperature of 180°C (356°F).
Once the MIGHTY MEDIC Vapor-
izer has reached the set temperature
(180°C (356°F)) (set and actual tem-
peratures are the same, also signaled
by a short double vibration) and the
Mouthpiece with Lip Piece is folded
out, the inhaling process can begin.
Using the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer
If the vapor decreases when exhaling
after some draws, set the temperature
to 210°C (410°F). As soon as there is
no vapor recognizable when exhaling
at 210°C (410°F), the Dosing Capsule
is depleted and the inhalation pro-
cess has ended.
Breathing Technique
Take the Mouthpiece with Lip Piece
between the lips, and inhale slowly
and evenly for several seconds.
Inhale only half of air you can normally
manage. Hold your breath for a few
seconds and exhale slowly.
We recommend consciously concen-
trating on your inhalation. The can-
nabinoid aerosol is absorbed by the
alveoli and into the bloodstream. The
onset of the effect takes approx. 1-2
min.
End of Inhalation
After inhalation, turn off the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer. To do this, press
the orange ON/OFF switch for at
least half a second. The Vaporizer
acknowledges the switching off with a
short vibration.
Remove the Lip Piece and dispose of
it in the residual waste.
Turn the Cooling Unit with a 90° ro-
tation counterclockwise in order to
remove it from the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer remove the Dosing Capsule
from the Filling Chamber, open it and
dispose of the used hemp flowers in
the compost or residual waste.
Caution! Hot surface!
After using the MIGHTY MEDIC Va-
porizer, do not touch the Filling Cham-
ber or the Dosing Capsule until they
have cooled down again.
Pull the power adapter (if it is used)
from the socket and disconnect from
the Vaporizer. Allow the Vaporizer
and the power adapter to cool down
before they are packed away.

Please note that for different areas

A new Lip Piece has to be used
before each operation. (Excep-
tions are stated in Chapter 8.1.
“Disposable Lip Piece for Hygienic

b) Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
The Cooling Unit with Mouth-
piece must be cleaned if there is
visible residue (see Chapter 8.3.
“Cleaning of the Cooling Unit with
Mouthpiece”, page 32).
c) Both the Cooling Unit with Mouth-
piece and the Lip Piece may be
used by one person only.
8. HYGIENE
Make sure that the equipment is al-
lowed to dry thoroughly after every
cleaning.
Condensation or residual moisture
may encourage bacterial growth.
Please note the following indications
on the “Material Resistance of the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer”.
Inspect the component parts of the
Cooling Unit and Mouthpiece regu-
larly and replace defective (broken,
misshapen, discolored) parts.
Please note that damaged or
brittle Lip Pieces are not to be
used.

Material Resistance of the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer
Please ensure that the Lip Piece, the
Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece and
the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer do
not come in contact with the following
chemicals:
organic, mineral and oxidating
acids (min. permissible pH 5.5)
strong bases (max. permissible
pH 10). We recommend using
neutral/enzymatic or slightly alka-
line cleaners.

ether, ketone, benzene)

Clean the parts of the MIGHTY MED-
IC Vaporizer only with soft brushes,
never with metal brushes or steel wool.
8.1. Disposable Lip Piece for Hy-
gienic Use
The Lip Piece will be delivered brand
new and in a low-germ, but not fully-
sterile state.
Its purpose is to avoid a health risk –
e.g. infection from a contaminated
Mouthpiece, or a contaminated Cool-
ing Unit.
The Lip Piece of the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer is equipped
with a check valve. This check
valve reduces the danger of a poten-
tial contamination inside the Cooling
Unit by preventing breathing into the
Cooling Unit.
This ensures that the Cooling Unit
can be re-used several times before
it has to be cleaned (see Chapter
8.3. “Cleaning of the Cooling Unit with
Mouthpiece”, page 32).

8. HYGIENE
The Lip Piece is put on the folded out
Mouthpiece, slid until stop and is then
ready for operation.
The Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece and
the Lip Piece may be used by only one
person.
A Lip Piece may be used for max. 4
hours after initial operation if it is un-
damaged and clean. Afterwards, it
must be disposed of in the household
waste and a new Lip Piece must be
used due to hygienic reasons.
Every further use beyond this or the
use of damaged and/or contaminated
products respectively is the user’s re-
sponsibility.
We assume no liability if this recom-
mendation is ignored.
Please note that damaged or
brittle Lip Pieces are not to be
used.
8.2. Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
When the vapors are cooled, it is in-
evitable that a fraction is condensed
on the internal surfaces of the Cool-
ing Unit.
The component parts of the Cooling
Unit, including the Mouthpiece must
be monitored daily and cleaned if nec-
essary (see Chapter 8.3. „Cleaning
of the Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece“,
page 32). For that, the Cooling Unit
must be disassembled (see Chapter
9. Disassembly and Assembly of the
MIGHTY MEDIC Cooling Unit, page
34).

8.3. Cleaning of the Cooling
Unit with Mouthpiece
Clean the sink and the surround-
ing area.
Disassemble the Cooling Unit
with Mouthpiece (see Chapter 9.
“Disassembly and Assembly of
the MIGHTY MEDIC Cooling Unit“,
page 34).
Remove stubborn residue inside
the Cooling Unit and the Mouth-
piece (if necessary, with ethyl
alcohol).
Then place all pieces of the Cool-
ing Unit with Mouthpiece in warm
(40°C-50°C/104°F-122°F) soapy
water for at least 5 min. (com-
mercial rinsing agent with as few
additives as possible, used ac-
cording to manufacturer‘s recom-
mendations, avoiding excessive
foam) and ensure that all parts
are completely submerged (and
contain no air bubbles).
Use a soft brush (bottle brush)
or a soft, clean cloth to remove
impurities that is used only for this
purpose, never metal brushes or
steel wool. Clean until there are no
visible impurities on the parts.
Remove the parts from the soapy
water and rinse them for at least
one minute under running water.
Allow the liquid inside to run out
completely and shake any remain-
ing water out of the parts. Avoid

any contact with unclean surfaces,
especially the floor.
Note: If the tap water is very hard, re-
sulting in the formation of a white film
on the surface of the parts, we recom-
mend replacing the Cooling Unit with
Mouthpiece more frequently.
As an alternative to warm water with
wash-up liquid, all parts of the Cool-
ing unit with Mouthpiece (exception:
Cap Lock) can be cleaned with etha-
nol.
Manual cleaning of the disassembled
Cooling Unit
Warning! Alcohol is flam-
mable and may easily ig-
nite.
Do not immerse any plastic
components in alcohol for
longer than half an hour. Ex-
tended contact with alcohol may lead
to discoloration or embrittlement of
plastic parts.
8.4. Inspecting/Maintenance of the
Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
After cleaning, check all component
parts of the Cooling Unit with Mouth-
piece for surface damage, tears, sof-
tening or hardening, soiling, discol-
oration, or excessive limescale and
discard a damaged Cooling Unit or
Mouthpiece.
Then reassemble the Cooling Unit
with Mouthpiece (see Chapter 9.
“Disassembly and Assembly of the
MIGHTY MEDIC Cooling Unit”, page
34).

Reusability of the Cooling Unit
with Mouthpiece
The Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece is
intended for multiple use.
The Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
must be cleaned:
If there is residue (condensate) on
the inside of the Cooling Unit with
Mouthpiece.
At the latest 7 days after the last
use.
Before every use, check the Cool-
ing Unit with Mouthpiece for damage
and wear and tear. A defective Cool-
ing Unit with Mouthpiece must be re-
placed immediately.

with Mouthpiece may be or-

Storage
Store Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece in
a dry, dust-free place away from con-
tamination.

If the Cooling Unit must be im-
mersed into alcohol (ethanol)
the Cap Lock only has to be
removed from the Cooling Unit. Ex-
tended contact with alcohol can lead
to whitening of the Cap Lock Label or
disintegration of the glue.
Removal of the Cap Lock
Separate the Cooling Unit Cap from
the Cooling Unit Base by pulling off
the cap upwards.
Remove the Cap Lock from the cap by
pulling up at one side.
Pressing out the upper Screen
Push the upper Screen downwards
out of the Filling Chamber Cap from
above by using the Filling Chamber
Tool supplied.
Reassemble in reverse order.
When assembling, make sure
that Seal Rings are properly
seated. The Mouthpiece Seal
Ring, especially, must sit completely
in the cap and be no longer visible.
The upper Screen must be inserted
carefully into the groove provided.
Disregarding this may allow plant
particles to enter the Cooling Unit, so
blocking this or be inhaled.
When using the Dosing Capsules dur-
ing operation, the Lower Screen will
normally not get polluted. If the screen
does have to be exchanged one day,
proceed as follows:
Remove the lower Filling Chamber
Screen out of the Filling Chamber by
using a pair of tweezers or a pair of
pointed pliers. Insert a new Screen
while taking care that the edges of the
Screen seat into the groove at the bot-
tom of the Filling Chamber.

Before maintenance, the device has
to be switched off and disconnected
from the poser adapter. To do so, pull
the plug of the power adapter from the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer.
The power adapter must be pulled out
the from the socket.
10.1. Cleaning of the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer and the
Power Adapter
For home use it is sufficient to clean
the housing of the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer and the power adapter with
a damp cloth. Do not hold the device
under running water.
In a physician’s office or clinic, the
housing of the MIGHTY MEDIC Va-
porizer and power adapter can be
cleaned and disinfected with a sur-
face disinfectant.
The surface disinfectant should be
certified (e.g. VAH/DGHM or FDA
approval or CE marking), be suitable
for disinfecting the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer and power adpater, and
compatible with the Vaporizer and the
power adapter (see Chapter “Material
Resistance of the MIGHTY MEDIC
Vaporizer”, page 29).
Use only a soft clean cloth for wiping.
The cloth may be damp, but not wet.
Prevent liquid from entering the
MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer and the
power adapter, as this can lead to
damages on the electric parts and
eventually to malfunctions.
10. THE MIGHTY MEDIC VAPORIZER
If any liquid does get into the Vapor-
izer or the power adapter, contact our
Service Center immediately.
10.2. Care and Maintenance, Stor-
age, Disposal
Before any maintenance work is done,
the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer has to
be switched off and the power adapter
unplugged from the power supply.
Storage
Store the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer
in a dry place protected against the ef-
fects of weather and out of the reach
of children or unqualified persons.
In Case of Problems
If the power adapter has been in use,
unplug it at the socket and ensure
that no one can connect the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer to the mains supply
again without this being noticed.
Put the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer in
the original packaging, or pack it prop-
erly in other packing material, and
send it to our Service Center.
Disposal
If the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer or
the power adapter is irreparably dam-
aged, please do not simply throw
them away. As they are made of high
quality, completely recyclable com-
ponent parts, they should be brought
to a material recycling center in your
town or sent to our Service Center for
disposal.
10.3. Troubleshooting, Periodic
Safety Checks
If the device does not function prop-
erly when the power adapter is con-
nected to the power socket, please
check the MIGHTY MEDIC Vaporizer
using the tips in the following table:

If the preceding tips do not
yield the desired results, or for
any other defects or problems
not mentioned here, please unplug
the power adapter and contact our
Service Center immediately.
Do not open the MIGHTY
MEDIC Vaporizer or the pow-
er adapter! Without special
tools and specialized knowledge, any
attempt to open either of these devic-
es will cause damage to them. Such
an attempt will invalidate the warranty
claim.
Do not try to remedy the defect your-
self. Contact our Service Center di-
rectly.
Periodic Safety Checks
The following safety checks should be
performed at least every 24 months by
a qualified person who has adequate
training, knowledge, and practical ex-
perience to perform these tests.
Inspect the device and accessories
for mechanical and functional dam-
age.
Inspect the safety labels for leg-
ibility.
Verify that the device functions
properly as described in the
Instructions for Use.
The safety check is to be recorded in
a device log and data of control results
are to be documented.
If the device is not functioning prop-
erly or fails any of the above tests, the
device has to be repaired.
