be replaced with a new or reconditioned unit of the same or comparable design. The repaired or replaced unit
willthen bewarranted underthe termsof theremainder ofthe warrantyperiod. Thecustomer isresponsible for
theshipping charges on all returned items. Duringthe warrantyperiod, manufacturer will be responsible for the
return shipping charges to the customer in the United States.
LIMITATIONS: This warranty does not cover accessories, such as charging adapters, bulbs, fuses and batteries,
damage or defects resulting from normal wear and tear (including chips, scratches, abrasions, discoloration or
fadingduetousageorexposureto sunlight),accidents,damageduringshipping toourservicefacility,alterations,
unauthorized use or repair, neglect, misuse, abuse, failure to follow instructions for care and maintenance, fire,
flood and Acts of God.

or limitations stated herein may not apply. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights; other rights,
which vary from state to state, may apply.
TO REQUEST WARRANTY SERVICE FOR THIS PRODUCT: Contact Technical Support by telephone, fax or mail (see
below). We suggest that you keep the original packaging in case you need to ship the unit. When returning a
product,includeyourname,address,phonenumber,datedsalesreceipt (or copy) and adescriptionofthereason
forreturn andproduct serialnumber.After repairing or replacing the unit, we will make every effortto returnit
to you within four weeks.
WARRANTY ACTIVATION: Please complete Warranty Activation Card and mail to Vector Manufacturing. Enter
“VEC003” as Model and “Inverter Remote Switch” as Product Type. All Vector products must be registered within
30 days of purchase to activate this warranty. Mail the completed registration form, along with a copy of the
original sales receipt, to:

2. Plug the extension cord into the inverter’s Remote Control
Connection Port.
3. Operate the inverter as usual.
The pushbutton control and Power/Fault LED Indicators function exactly
as they do on the inverter. Refer to the inverter manual for further
operating information, load recommendations and specifications.
Note: The inverter’s ON/OFF Switch must be in the OFF position
before connecting the Remote Switch Plate and remain in the
OFF position. All ON/OFF function should be controlled by
the Remote Switch Plate.
CAUTION
ALWAYS turn the inverter OFF using the Remote Switch Plate before
disconnecting this unit from the inverter. Failure to do so will disable use
of the inverter’s ON/OFF function.

and all devices to be used with the unit.
CAUTIONS
• This unit is NOT waterproof. DO NOT submerge it in liquids of any kind or use
it in the rain, snow or other wet conditions.
• Make sure the cord is placed so it is not tripped over or damaged by pinching,
abrading or cutting. Do not place it near moving objects, doors or sharp
objects, or expose it to extreme heat. Discontinue use if the cord is damaged.
• This is not a toy — keep away from children.
• Do not operate unit if there is any evidence of damage. To replace worn or
defective parts, contact Customer Service Department, toll-free, at [phone].

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VEC003 Inverter Remote Switch . The
Remote Power Switch allows Vector power inverters to be controlled
remotely.

OPERATING THE UNIT
1. Position the Switch Plate, following the recommendations in the
“Important Safety Instructions.” The Switch Plate may be mounted
for convenience.
TWO YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY PROGRAM
Thislimited warranty program is the only onethat applies to this product, and itsets forth all the responsibilities
of Vector Manufacturing, regarding this product. There is no other warranty, other than those described herein.
Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration
to the duration of this warranty.
This Vector Manufacturing product is warranted, to the original purchaser only, to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase without additional charge. The warranty does not
extend to subsequent purchasers or users. Manufacturer will not be responsible for any amount of damage in
excessoftheretail purchase priceoftheproductunder any circumstances.Incidentalandconsequential damages
are specifically excluded from coverage under this warranty.
Thisproduct is not intended forcommercial use.This warranty does not applyto damageto units from misuse or
incorrect installation/connection. Misuse includes wiring or connecting to improper polarity power sources.
RETURN/REPAIR POLICY: Defective products may be returned to manufacturer. Any defective product that is
returnedtomanufacturerwithin30daysofthedateofpurchasewillbereplacedfree of charge. If such a product
isreturned morethan 30days butless thantwo years from the purchase date, manufacturer will repair the unit
or, at its option, replace it, free of charge.
