1. Insert the plug of the IR probes into the IR probes output
connection [3] at the back of the IR bender.
2. Lead the IR probes inside the cabinet and to the A/V equipment in
such way that a LED can be stuck onto the IR eye of each A/V
apparatus. Test the position of each LED first before sticking as
this should be done carefully and precisely.
3. Stick the receiver to the back (A. flat screens) or bottom
(B. thicker screens) of the screen and route the cable as
indicated.
4. Insert the plug of the receiver into the input connection [4].

5. Insert the included USB cable into the USB input connection [2]
and plug the other end into a powered USB port e.g. from your TV
or decoder box. The power LED [1] lights.
6. Mount the IR bender at the desired location using the adhesive
tape or included screws (2).
7. Use your remote control and point towards the IR receiver within
an angle of ± 15° in all directions (see illustration on page 3).
Important remark: In some cases, the receiver can suffer from
interference and not pick up the signal from your remote control.
Interference can be caused by devices in the direct vicinity such as
dimmers and lamps, or by direct sunlight. If such is the case,
reorient or relocate the IR receiver, or increase the distance between
the IR receiver and the device causing the interference.

Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt

4. Omschrijving

5. Installatie en gebruik
Raadpleeg de afbeeldingen op pagina 3van deze handleiding.
1. Steek de stekker van de infraroodleds in uitgangsaansluiting [3]
achteraan de infraroodverdeler.
2. Leid de infraroodleds naar uw audio- of videoapparatuur binnenin
het meubel toe zodanig dat u een led op elk oog van de
apparatuur kunt kleven. Aangezien de led precies op het oog
gekleefd moet worden, test u eerst best de positie van elke led.
3. Kleef de ontvanger op de achterkant (A. vlakke schermen) of
onderkant (B. dikkere schermen) van het scherm en bevestig de
kabel zoals aangegeven.

4. Sluit de kabel van de ontvanger aan op de ingangsaansluiting van
het infraroodoog [4].
5. Sluit de meegeleverde USB kabel aan op de voedingsaansluiting
[2] en het andere einde in een onder spanning staande USB
poort, bvb. van uw TV of decoder. De spanningsindicator [1] licht
op.
6. Monteer de IR verdeler op de gewenste plaats met behulp van de
dubbelzijdige kleefband of meegeleverde schroeven (2).
7. Richt nu uw afstandsbediening naar de infraroodontvanger in een
hoek van ± 15° in alle richtingen (zie figuur op pagina 3).
Belangrijke opmerking: In sommige uitzonderlijke gevallen kan
het systeem last ondervinden van interferentie en daardoor het
signaal van de afstandsbediening niet ontvangen. Interferentie kan
veroorzaakt worden door toestellen zoals dimmers en lampen, of
door direct invallend licht. Verplaats in dit geval de infraroodverdeler
of het infraroodoog, of vergroot de afstand tussen
infraroodverdeler/infraroodoog en het toestel dat de interferentie
veroorzaakt.

1. Insérer la fiche des DEL dans la connexion de sortie [3] à l’arrière
du répartiteur.
2. Guider les DEL vers l’intérieur du meuble de manière à pouvoir
coller une DEL sur chaque œil infrarouge des appareils A/V. Tester
au préalable la position de chaque DEL avant de les coller avec
précision.
3. Coller le récepteur à l’arrière (A.écrans plats) ou en dessous
(B.écrans plus gros) de l’écran et fixer le câble tel qu’indiqué.
4. Connecter le câble du récepteur à la connexion d'entrée de l’œil IR
[4].
5. Connecter le câble USB (inclus) à la connexion d'alimentation [2]
et l’autre bout à une porte USB sous tension, p.ex. de votre
téléviseur ou décodeur. L’indicateur d’alimentation [1] s’allume.
6. Fixer la IR cintreuse au lieu choisi en utilisant du ruban adhésif ou
les vis ci-incluses (2).
7. Utiliser votre télécommande et la pointer vers le récepteur IR, et
ceci dans un angle de ± 15° tous azimuts (voir illustration sur
page 3).
Remarque importante : Dans certains cas, il se peut que le
système soit sous l’influence d’interférence et, de ce fait, ne soit pas
sensible aux signaux de la télécommande. Cette interférence est
provoquée par des appareils à proximité, comme p.ex. des
gradateurs et des ampoules, ou par la lumière du soleil tombant
directement sur le répartiteur ou l’œil infrarouge. Les cas échéant,
déplacer le répartiteur ou l’œil infrarouge, ou éloigner l’appareil
causant l’interférence du système.

1. Introduzca el conector de los LEDs en la conexión de salida [3] de
la parte trasera del distribuidor.
2. Guíe los LEDs hacia el interior del mueble de manera que puede
pegar un LED en cada receptor IR de los aparatos A/V. Pruebe la
posición de cada LED antes de pegarlos con precisión.
3. Pegue el receptor en la parte trasera (A.pantallas planas) o la
parte inferior (B.pantallas más gruesas) de la pantalla y fije el
cable como está indicado.
4. Conecte el cable del receptor a la conexión de entrada del ojo
infrarrojo [4].
5. Conecte el cable USB (incl.) a la conexión de alimentación [2] y el
otro extremo a un puerto USB bajo tensión, p.ej. del televisor o
decodificador. El indicador de alimentación [1] se ilumina.
6. Instale el distribuidor IR con cinta adhesiva de doble cara o los
tornillos incluidos (2) en el lugar deseado.
7. Utilice el mando a distancia y apunte al receptor en un ángulo de
± 15° en todas las direcciones.
Nota importante: En algunos casos excepcionales, es posible que
interferencias causen problemas y que, por tanto, el sistema no
pueda recibir las señales del mando a distancia. Estas interferencias
están causados por aparatos como p.ej. dimmer y bombillas, o rayos
de luz incidentes. Si es el caso, desplace el distribuidor o el receptor

•Nehmen Sie das Gerät erst in Betrieb, nachdem Sie sich mit
seinen Funktionen vertraut gemacht haben.
•Eigenmächtige Veränderungen sind aus Sicherheitsgründen
verboten. Bei Schäden verursacht durch eigenmächtige
Änderungen erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
•Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für Anwendungen beschrieben in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung sonst kann dies zu Schäden am
Produkt führen und erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
•Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung
verursacht werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch. Für daraus
resultierende Folgeschäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine
Haftung.
•Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ein feuchtes, fusselfreies Tuch.
Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Alkohol oder irgendwelche

5. Installation und Anwendung
Siehe Abbildungen, Seite 3dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
1. Stecken Sie den Stecker der IR-LEDs in den Ausgangsanschluss
[3] auf der Rückseite des IR-Verteilers.
2. Führen Sie die IR-LEDs in solcher Weise zum Audio- oder
Videogerät innerhalb des Möbels, dass Sie eine LED an jedem
Empfänger des Gerätes kleben können. Weil die LED genau am
Empfänger befestigt werden muss, testen Sie am besten zuerst
die Position jeder LED.
3. Kleben Sie den Empfänger auf die Rückseite (A. Flachbildschirm)
oder die Unterseite (B. dickere Bildschirme) des Bildschirms und
befestigen Sie das Kabel wie angegeben.
4. Verbinden Sie das Kabel des Empfängers mit dem
Eingangsanschluss des Infrarotauges [4].
5. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel mit dem
Eingangsanschluss [2] und das andere Ende mit einem unter

Spannung stehenden USB-Port, z.B. Fernseher oder Decoder. Die
Stromversorgungsanzeige [1] leuchtet.
6. Installieren Sie den IR-Verteiler mit doppelseitigem Klebeband
oder den mitgelieferten Schrauben (2) am gewünschten Ort.
7. Richten Sie nun die Fernbedienung auf den IR-Empfänger in
einem Winkel von ± 15° in allen Richtungen (Abb. Seite 3).
Wichtige Bemerkung: In einigen außergewöhnlichen Fällen können
Interferenzen das System stören und dadurch das Signal der
Fernbedienung nicht empfangen. Geräte wie Dimmer und Lampen,
oder direkt einfallendes Licht können diese Interferenzen
verursachen. Ist dies der Fall, verschieben Sie den IR-Verteiler oder
IR-Empfänger, oder vergrößern Sie den Abstand zwischen IR-
Verteiler/IR-Empfänger und dem Gerät, das die Interferenzen
verursacht.

General Warranty Conditions Concerning
Consumer Products (for EU):
• All consumer products are subject to a 24-
month warranty on production flaws and
defective material as from the original date of
purchase.
• Velleman® can decide to replace an article
with an equivalent article, or to refund the retail
value totally or partially when the complaint is
valid and a free repair or replacement of the
article is impossible, or if the expenses are out
of proportion.
You will be delivered a replacing article or a
refund at the value of 100% of the purchase
price in case of a flaw occurred in the first year
after the date of purchase and delivery, or a
replacing article at 50% of the purchase price
or a refund at the value of 50% of the retail
value in case of a flaw occurred in the second
year after the date of purchase and delivery.
• Not covered by warranty:
- all direct or indirect damage caused after
delivery to the article (e.g. by oxidation, shocks,
falls, dust, dirt, humidity...), and by the article,
as well as its contents (e.g. data loss),
compensation for loss of profits;
- consumable goods, parts or accessories that
are subject to an aging process during normal
use, such as batteries (rechargeable, non-
rechargeable, built-in or replaceable), lamps,
rubber parts, drive belts... (unlimited list);
- flaws resulting from fire, water damage,
lightning, accident, natural disaster, etc.…;
- flaws caused deliberately, negligently or
resulting from improper handling, negligent
maintenance, abusive use or use contrary to
the manufacturer’s instructions;

professional or collective use of the article (the
warranty validity will be reduced to six (6)
months when the article is used professionally);
- damage resulting from an inappropriate
packing and shipping of the article;
- all damage caused by modification, repair or
alteration performed by a third party without

• Articles to be repaired must be delivered to
your Velleman® dealer, solidly packed
(preferably in the original packaging), and be
completed with the original receipt of purchase
and a clear flaw description.
• Hint: In order to save on cost and time, please
reread the manual and check if the flaw is
caused by obvious causes prior to presenting
the article for repair. Note that returning a non-
defective article can also involve handling
costs.
• Repairs occurring after warranty expiration
are subject to shipping costs.
• The above conditions are without prejudice to
all commercial warranties.
