1. Introduction
To all residents of the European Union

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle
could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal
waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned
to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.

DO NOT disassemble or open the cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device.

5. Installing the Batteries
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw on the back of the remote control. Open the battery cover.
2. Install four AA-type batteries (not included) according to the indicated polarity.
3. Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
WARNING
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode.
Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline).
Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries
away from children.
6. Preparing Your Flight
6.1 Charging the Battery
Connect the battery to a powered USB port of a switched-on computer. Refer to the table below:

WARNING
Only charge the battery in a dry and well-ventilated area, away
from any heat source and inflammable or explosive substances.
Only use the included USB cable or an exact equivalent. Do not use
a visibly damaged cable or battery.
During charging, never leave the battery unsupervised.
After using the battery, leave the battery to cool down completely
before charging.
Mind the correct polarity when connecting the battery to the
charging device.
Protect the battery from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force during
charging.
To avoid premature damage to the battery, do not charge the
battery unnecessarily or beyond the recommended charging time.
6.2 Battery Maintenance
Remove the battery from the drone after use. Store the battery in a dry and well-ventilated place
with an ambient temperature ideally between 18 °C and 25 °C.
Fully charge the battery before long-term storage.
Please avoid excessive charging and frequent discharging the battery.
Before first use, fully charge and discharge to 70 %, and repeat 3 to 5 times. This will prolong the
battery’s life.

7. Flying Your Drone
7.1 Synchronizing the Remote Control and Drone
1. If you have not done so, install the charged battery into your quadcopter. Also, install the batteries
in the remote control.
2. Place the drone on a flat and non-slippery surface.
3. Push and hold the throttle stick completely downwards.
4. Switch on your remote control by sliding the on-off switch to the on position. Synchronizing has
been completed when the power LED burns steadily.
WARNING
If synchronizing has failed –if the power LED is still blinking –or if the
drone is beyond control, switch off both the drone and the remote
control, and start the synchronizing procedure again.
If the power LED blinks slowly, please recharge the drone’s battery.
7.2 Flight Training
REMARK
This drone is a fast-reacting aircraft, which requires only slight stick
movements to manoeuvre. Remember that crashing your drone can
cause injury, and damage the aircraft and surrounding objects beyond
repair.
It is therefore very important to first practice and clock up enough
“flying hours” to gradually increase your flying skills. Slowly lift the
drone and try to hover 50 to 60 cm above the ground. Land the drone
carefully.
The next step is to try and move your drone left/right and
forward/backward.
Repeat these exercises until you have mastered them.
7.3 Manoeuvring the Drone
Calibrating the Drone
Pull and hold the left cyclic stick to the lower left corner, pull and hold the right cyclic stick to the lower
right corner.
After 3 seconds, the LED on the drone will flash, meaning calibration is successful.

Basic Manoeuvres
Hovering up and down
Push the left cyclic stick up or down to fly the drone upward or downward.
Turning left and right
Push the left cyclic stick left or right to fly the drone left or right.
Lateral flight
Push the right cyclic stick left or right to incline the drone to the left or to the right.
Flying forward and backward
Push the right cyclic stick up or down to fly the drone forward or backward.

Combat
Having mastered the basic manoeuvres to perfection, you can now start practising the combat functions.
Slowly raise the throttle with the left cyclic stick. Keep the drones flying smoothly in the air. Combat
mode is ready!
Press the battle switch to take your opponent down.
At the first two hits, the hit drone’s head will turn.
At the third hit, the hit drone will flip.
At the fourth hit, the hit drone will slowly land. Game over!

360° Flip
After the basic manoeuvres and having clocked up enough flying hours, you can now do some
spectacular aerobatics!
One of those stunts is the 360° flip or roll. To do so:
1. Keep your drone hovering at a steady height of minimum 3 m.
2. Press the 3D flight button. Move the cyclic stick to the left, the right, forward or backward.
3. You will now have completed a perfect 360° roll, left, right, forward or backward according to your
cyclic stick movement!
WARNING
Only use the 3D flight with fully-charged quadcopter and remote control
batteries, and in an open-space area without obstacles.
To avoid damaging the circuit board, immediately push the throttle stick
to the lowest position if the drone has crashed.
8. Troubleshooting
No response from the drone.
The battery of the drone is insufficiently charged. Charge the battery.
The batteries of the remote control are insufficiently charged. Charge or replace the batteries.
The bandwidths of the remote control and the drone do not correspond. Choose the same
bandwidth for both the remote control and the drone by synchronizing the remote control and
the drone.
The drone is slow to respond or difficult to manoeuvre.
The battery of the quadcopter is insufficiently charged. Charge the battery.
The batteries of the remote control are insufficiently charged. Charge or replace the batteries.
The drone is out of remote control’s range. Do not fly the drone too far from the remote
control. The range depends on the environment and surrounding objects.
9. Cleaning and Maintenance
The drone does not need any particular maintenance. However, occasionally wipe it with a damp cloth to
keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie
Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf
terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal
recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar en onbevoegden.
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen) met verminderde
fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder
toezicht staan of instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het toestel van een persoon
die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid. Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze
met het toestel spelen.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid en opspattende vloeistoffen.
Demonteer of open dit toestel NOOIT. Er zijn geen onderdelen in het toestel die door de
gebruiker gerepareerd kunnen worden. Contacteer uw verdeler voor eventuele
reserveonderdelen.
Waarschuwing: U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar).

3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm het toestel tegen stof en extreme temperaturen.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd
gebruik.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en
uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden.
Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor schade
(buitengewoon, incidenteel of onrechtstreeks) –van welke aard dan ook (financieel, fysisch…)
voortvloeiend uit het bezit, gebruik of falen van dit product.

Gebruik dit toestel enkel op een wettelijk toegelaten terrein voor radiogestuurd vliegen en zonder
interferentie van radiosignalen.
Schakel het toestel niet onmiddellijk in nadat het werd blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen.
Om beschadiging te vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de kamertemperatuur heeft bereikt.
Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.
4. Functies van de afstandsbediening

5. Batterijen plaatsen
1. Gebruik een schroevendraaier om de schroef aan de achterkant van de afstandsbediening te
verwijderen. Open de batterijklep.
2. Plaats 4 AA-batterijen (niet meegeleverd) volgens de polariteitsaanduidingen.
3. Sluit het batterijdeksel en draai de schroef vast.
WAARSCHUWING
U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het vuur gooien
(explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg
volgens de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
6. De vlucht voorbereiden
6.1 De batterij opladen
Sluit de batterij aan op een gevoede USB-poort van een ingeschakelde pc. Zie overzicht hieronder:

WAARSCHUWING
Laad de batterij op in een droge en goed geventileerde ruimte, uit
de buurt van warmtebronnen en ontvlambare of explosieve stoffen.
Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde USB-kabel of een gelijkwaardig
type. Gebruik geen beschadigde kabel of batterij.
Laat de batterij nooit onbeheerd achter tijdens het opladen.
Laat de batterij volledig afkoelen voor het opladen.
Respecteer de polariteit wanneer u de batterij op het laadtoestel
aansluit.
Bescherm de batterij tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens
het opladen.
Om voortijdige schade aan de batterij te voorkomen, laat de
batterij niet onnodig opladen of langer dan de aanbevolen
oplaadtijd.
6.2 Batterijonderhoud
Verwijder de batterij uit de drone na gebruik. Bewaar de batterij op een droge en goed geventileerde
plaats met een omgevingstemperatuur tussen 18 °C en 25 °C.

Laad de batterij volledig op voordat u deze een langere periode opbergt.
Vermijd overladen en veelvuldig ontladen van de batterij.
Voor het eerste gebruik moet u de batterij volledig opladen en tot 70% ontladen. Herhaal 3 tot 5
keer. Dit verlengt de levensduur van de batterij.
7. De drone besturen
7.1 De afstandsbediening en de drone synchroniseren
1. Plaats de opgeladen batterij in de quadcopter. Plaats ook batterijen in de afstandsbediening.
2. Plaats de drone op een effen en slipvrij oppervlak.
3. Houd de linker hendel naar omlaag.
4. Schakel de afstandsbediening in door de on/off-schakelaar op ON te zetten. De synchronisatie is
voltooid wanneer de voedingsled blijft branden.
WAARSCHUWING
Als de synchronisatie is mislukt - de voedingsled blijft knipperen - of als
de drone onbestuurbaar is, schakel zowel de drone als de
afstandsbediening uit en herhaal de synchronisatieprocedure.
Herlaad de batterij van de drone wanneer de voedingsled langzaam
knippert.
7.2 Leren vliegen
OPMERKING
Deze drone is een vliegtoestel dat snel reageert en slechts kleine
stuurbewegingen nodig heeft om het te besturen. Het neerstorten van
de drone kan ernstige letsels en/of onherroepelijke schade veroorzaken
aan het toestel en de omliggende voorwerpen.
Daarom is het zeer belangrijk om eerst te oefenen en voldoende
vlieguren te maken om uw vliegvaardigheden te verbeteren. Laat de
drone langzaam opstijgen en zweven tot 50 - 60 cm boven de grond.
Laat de drone voorzichtig landen.
Beweeg de drone naar links/rechts en voor-/achterwaarts.
Herhaal deze oefeningen tot u ze goed onder de knie hebt.
7.3 De drone besturen
De drone kalibreren
Beweeg de linker hendel naar de hoek linksonder en beweeg de rechter hendel naar de hoek
rechtsonder.
Na 3 seconden knippert de led op de drone om aan te geven dat de kalibratie voltooid is.

Basisbewegingen
Omhoog en omlaag zweven
Beweeg de linker hendel omhoog of omlaag om hoger of lager te vliegen.
Naar links en naar rechts draaien
Beweeg de linker hendel naar links of naar rechts om de drone naar links of naar rechts te laten
draaien.
Zijwaarts vliegen
Beweeg de rechter hendel naar links of naar rechts om naar links of naar rechts te hellen.
Voor- en achterwaarts vliegen
Beweeg de rechter hendel naar voren of naar achter om voorwaarts of achterwaarts te vliegen.

Luchtgevecht
Eenmaal de basisbewegingen onder de knie, kunt u beginnen met het beoefenen van de
gevechtsfuncties.
Geef langzaam gas met de linker hendel. Laat de drones stabiel vliegen in de lucht. Aanvallen maar!
Druk op de gevechtsknop om de tegenstander neer te halen.
Na de eerste twee hits draait de kop van de geraakte drone.
Na de derde hit zal de geraakte drone tollen.
Na de vierde hit zal de geraakte drone langzaam naar beneden vallen. Game over!

360° rotatie
Eenmaal u de basisbewegingen onder de knie hebt en voldoende vlieguren hebt opgebouwd, kunt u
enkele spectaculaire stunts uitvoeren!
Zo kan de quadcopter 360° roteren of tollen. Ga als volgt te werk:
1. Laat de drone stabiel zweven op min. 3 m hoogte.
2. Druk op de 3D-knop. Beweeg de hendel naar links, naar rechts, voor- of achterwaarts.
3. U hebt nu een perfecte looping van 360° naar links, naar rechts, voorwaarts of achterwaarts
gemaakt.
WAARSCHUWING
Gebruik de 3D-vliegmodus enkel met volledig opgeladen batterijen in de
quadcopter en de afstandsbediening, en in een open ruimte zonder
obstakels.
Om de printplaat niet te beschadigen bij het neerstorten van de drone,
houd de linker hendel helemaal naar omlaag.
8. Problemen en oplossingen
De drone reageert niet.
De batterij van de drone is onvoldoende opgeladen. Laad de batterij op.
De batterijen van de afstandsbediening zijn onvoldoende opgeladen. Plaats of vervang de
batterijen.
De bandbreedtes van de afstandsbediening en de drone komen niet overeen. Kies dezelfde
bandbreedte voor de afstandsbediening en de drone door deze te synchroniseren.
De drone reageert traag of is moeilijk te besturen.
De batterij van de quadcopter is onvoldoende opgeladen. Laad de batterij op.
De batterijen van de afstandsbediening zijn onvoldoende opgeladen. Plaats of vervang de
batterijen.
De drone is buiten bereik van de afstandsbediening. Laat de drone niet te ver van de
afstandsbediening vliegen. Het bereik hangt af van de omgeving en de omliggende
voorwerpen.
9. Reiniging en onderhoud
Het toestel vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Maak af en toe proper met een vochtige doek, om er als
nieuw te laten uitzien. Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke
detergenten.

NE JAMAIS démonter ni ouvrir le boîtier. Il n’y a aucune pièce réparable par l’utilisateur dans
l'appareil. Commander des pièces de rechange éventuelles chez votre revendeur.

Ne jamais recharger des piles alcalines. Se débarrasser des piles en respectant la
réglementation locale relative à la protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de la

3. Directives générales
Se référer à la garantie de service et de qualité Velleman® en fin de ce mode d'emploi.
Protéger cet appareil contre la poussière et les températures extrêmes.
Protéger l’appareil des chocs et de l'abus. Traiter l'appareil avec circonspection pendant
l’opération.
Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l'appareil avant de l'utiliser.
Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les dommages occasionnés par des
modifications par le client ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
N’utiliser l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie.
La garantie ne se s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de ce
mode d'emploi et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui
en résultent.

Dans le souci d'une amélioration constante de nos produits, l'apparence du produit peut différer

Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des variations de température. Afin

5. Installer les piles
1. Utiliser un tournevis pour retirer la vis de la partie arrière de la télécommande. Ouvrir le couvercle
du compartiment à piles.
2. Insérer 4 piles type AA (non incl.) en respectant la polarité.
3. Refermer le compartiment à piles et serrer la vis.
AVERTISSEMENT

6. Préparer le vol
6.1 Charger la batterie
Connecter la batterie à un port USB alimenté ou à un ordinateur allumé. Voir la table ci-dessous :

AVERTISSEMENT
Charger la batterie uniquement dans un endroit bien aéré et sec, à
l'écart de sources de chaleur et de substances inflammables ou
explosives.
Utiliser uniquement le câble USB fourni ou un équivalent. Ne pas
utiliser un câble ou une pile endommagé.
Pendant la charge, ne jamais laisser la batterie sans surveillance.
Laisser refroidir la batterie complètement avant de la charger.
Respecter la polarité en connectant la batterie à l'appareil de
charge.
Protéger la batterie des chocs et éviter l'abus. Traiter la batterie
avec circonspection pendant la charge.
Pour éviter une usure prématurée de la batterie, ne pas charger la
batterie trop fréquemment ou ne pas dépasser le temps de charge
recommandé.
6.2 Entretien de la batterie
Retirer la batterie du drone après utilisation. Ranger la batterie dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé, à
une température ambiante entre 18 °C et 25 °C.
Charger la batterie complètement avant de la ranger pour une période prolongée.

Eviter une charge excessive et une décharge fréquente de la batterie.
Avant la première utilisation, charger complètement et décharger jusqu'à 70 %. Répéter 3 à 5 fois.
Ceci prolongera la durée de vie de la batterie.
7. Faire voler le drone
7.1 Synchroniser la télécommande et le drone
1. Installer la batterie chargée dans le quadricoptère. Insérer également des piles dans la
télécommande.
2. Poser le drone sur une surface plane et antidérapante.
3. Pousser la manette gauche complètement vers le bas.
4. Allumer la télécommande en mettant l'interrupteur on/off sur ON. La synchronisation est complète
lorsque la LED d’alimentation s'allume en continu.
AVERTISSEMENT
Si la synchronisation a échouée - si les LEDs d'orientation clignotent en
continu - ou si le drone est hors de contrôle, éteindre le drone et la
télécommande et effectuer à nouveau la procédure de synchronisation.
Si la LED d’alimentation clignote lentement, recharger la batterie du
drone.
7.2 Apprendre à voler
REMARQUE
Ce drone est un aéronef à réaction rapide que vous pouvez facilement
contrôler par de légers mouvements de manette. Les chutes peuvent
causer des blessures et des dommages irréparables au drone et aux
objets environnants.
Il est donc important de se familiariser avec le fonctionnement et de
réaliser suffisamment d'heures de vol pour améliorer progressivement
vos aptitudes de vol. Faire décoller lentement le drone et essayer de le
maintenir en vol stationnaire à 50 - 60 cm au-dessus du sol. Faire
atterrir le drone délicatement.
L'étape suivante est de piloter le drone vers la gauche/droite et vers
l'avant/l'arrière.
Répéter ces exercices jusqu'à ce que vous les maîtrisiez.
7.3 Piloter le drone
Calibrer le drone
Pousser la manette gauche vers le coin gauche inférieur et pousser la manette droite vers le coin droit
inférieur. Après 3 secondes, la LED du drone clignote pour indiquer que le calibrage a réussi.

Monter et descendre
Pousser la manette gauche vers le haut ou le bas pour piloter le drone vers le haut ou le bas.
Tourner vers la gauche et la droite
Pousser la manette gauche vers la gauche ou la droite pour piloter le drone vers la gauche ou la
droite.
Vol latéral
Pousser la manette droite vers la gauche ou la droite pour incliner le drone vers la gauche ou la droite.
Voler vers l'avant et l'arrière
Pousser la manette droite vers le haut ou le bas pour piloter le drone vers l'avant ou l'arrière.
