The values indicated on the rating plate of the instrument must correspond to those of the power supply.

Fasten the unit to the support rod (A00001300) using the fixing block (10007953). Position the instrument with a distance from the wall of
30 cm (at least).

The unit is fitted with two fuses (2xT5 A L 250 V), found in the socket on the back. To replace one or more, disconnect the mains cable
and, using a screwdriver, lift up the small cover on the fuse box.

Do not use with explosive or dangerous materials for which the equipment is not designed. The stirrer must not be used in explosive
atmospheres, in bain-marie or to stir harmful liquids prior using protective measures according to the safety standards of the processed
products and/or in force in the laboratories including personal protective equipment and the presence of an extraction hood which ensures
at least 10-fold air change in accordance with the standards EN 14175 and DIN 12924.

It is dangerous to run the motor free in air. Always fix the motor before turning the unit on.

The solution may release toxic, dangerous or poisonous gases. Adequate safety measures must be taken, in accordance with the safety
regulations in force, including the presence of hood and personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, goggles, etc.).

1. Introduction
CONTROLLER Digital is an innovative solution for control and data logging in process reactors, able to monitor the
temperature in the reactor and the shaft rotation speed of brushless gear-motors for liquid volumes till 100L, even with
viscosity changes. The motor is reversible.

2. Assembly and installation
•Unpacking
➢Check the integrity of the unit after unpacking.
•The box includes

•First installation
➢Place the unit on non-flammable surface
➢Fix the instrument to the support through the handle
➢Connect the instrument to a brushless motor 4 poles, 24 V, ¼ HP, Max 8,3 A

➢Make sure that the rating value of the instrument corresponds to the one of the power supplies
➢Ensure that the socket provided, with grounding, is compliant with the current safety norms and easy to reach. Use only
the cable provided with the instrument.
➢Insert the power cable into the socket.
NOTE: The cable can be substituted only by main cables with same features (T=70°C, connector C14).
3. Working
Commissioning
➢Switch on the instrument through the main switch (J)
➢Display (A) shows software version, the last set point value and OFF (if “Mode” is set on Stop, see chpt.5)
Stirring
➢Adjust speed set point by turning the speed control knob (F)
➢Click the knob to start stirring
➢The speed increases until set point achievement
➢A microprocessor ensures constant speed even when the viscosity changes (counter-reaction)
➢Switch off the stirring by clicking the knob
Timer
➢Click Timer key (H). HH:MM appears on display
➢Rotate speed control knob (F) to set the desired value. Click to confirm
➢Once timer is set, timer LED (G) lights up
➢The LED light is continuously until the instrument starts to stir. When the instrument stirs, the LED flashes.
➢It’s possible to visualize (or modify) countdown in each moment during the analysis by clicking Timer key (H)
➢When countdown finishes, “End” is visualized on the display.
Reverse
➢Set the stirring rotation direction by clicking Reverse key (D).

➢The rotation direction set has its relative LED lighted on: clockwise (C) and anticlockwise (E)
Torque
➢The torque indicator bar (B), made by four LEDs, shows the intensity of the torque applied
➢CONTROLLER Digital model doesn’t show a precise torque value as the Advance model
Lock
➢Holding the Lock key (H) for 3 seconds it’s possible to lock the control panel
➢Unlock the control panel by holding key H for 3 seconds
➢When the instrument is locked LED (I) lights up
4. External Connections
USB
➢This model has USB connection in the back for software upgrading by PC
5. Menu
Hold the control knob (F) for 3 seconds to enter into the setting mode when stirring is off.
Turning the control knob (F) it is possible to pass from one of the following parameters to the next one. Click the knob to modify:
Click the stirring control knob (F) to display the set value. Turn the knob to set the new value and click to confirm.
To leave settings mode wait 10 seconds without touching any knob or click the lock key.
6. Error messages
When the display shows an error message, the stirring function stops automatically.

1. Introduzione
CONTROLLER Digital è una soluzione innovativa per il controllo e la registrazione dei dati nei reattori di processo per
volume di liquidi fino a 100L. La registrazione dei dati può essere gestita tramite la piattaforma VELP Ermes oppure
tramite USB via PC.

➢Assicurarsi che il valore di tensione di alimentazione dello strumento corrisponda al valore di tensione di rete
➢Assicurarsi che la presa di corrente fornita sia conforme alle norme di sicurezza e facile da raggiungere. Utilizzare solo il
cavo di alimentazione fornito con lo strumento
➢Inserire il cavo nella presa di rete
NOTA: Il cavo di alimentazione può essere sostituito solo con un cavo con caratteristiche equivalenti (T=70°C, connettore C14).

Accensione
➢Accendere lo strumento tramite l’interruttore principale (J)
➢Il display (A) mostra, nell’ordine, versione software, ultimo valore di set point e OFF (se “Mode” è impostato
su Stop, vedere capitolo 5).
Agitazione
➢Impostare la velocità di set point ruotando l’encoder (F).
➢Cliccare l’encoder per avviare l’agitazione.
➢La velocità incrementa fino al raggiungimento del valore di set point.
➢Un microprocessore assicura velocità costante anche a seguito di variazioni della viscosità (counter-
reaction).
➢Fermare l’agitazione attraverso un altro click della manopola (F).
Timer
➢Cliccare il tasto timer (H). HH:MM compare sul display.
➢Ruotare l’encoder (F) per impostare il valore desiderato. Cliccare per conferma.
➢A timer impostato il relativo LED (G) si accende.
➢Il LED rimane acceso in continuo finché lo strumento comincia ad agitare. Quando agita, il LED lampeggia.
➢È possibile visualizzare (o modificare) il countdown in qualsiasi momento durante l’analisi tramite click del
tasto timer.
➢Quando il countdown finisce, “End” viene visualizzato sul display.
Reverse
➢Impostare la direzione di rotazione desiderata tramite l’apposito tasto (D).
➢Il relativo LED si accende: senso orario (C), senso antiorario (E)
Coppia
➢La barra indicatrice di coppia (B), costituita da 4 LED, mostra un’idea dell’intensità di coppia applicata
➢Il CONTROLLER Digital non mostra un valore di coppia preciso come per l’Advance
Blocco
➢Tenendo premuto il tasto di blocco (H) per 3 secondi è possibile bloccare il pannello di controllo.
➢Sbloccare il pannello di controllo tenendo nuovamente premuto il tasto H per altri 3 secondi.
➢Quando lo strumento è bloccato si accende il LED (I)
4. Connessioni esterne
USB
➢Ogni modello ha una connessione USB sul retro dello strumento per l’aggiornamento software.
5. Menù
Tenere premuto l’encoder (F) per 3 secondi ad agitazione ferma per entrare nel menù dei parametri di impostazione.
Ruotare l’encoder (F) per passare da uno dei seguenti parametri all’altro. Cliccare l’encoder per modificare:

Cliccare l’encoder (F) per visualizzare il valore di default. Ruotare l’encoder per impostare un nuovo valore e cliccare per confermarlo.
Per lasciare il menu attendere 10 secondi senza toccare alcun tasto oppure cliccare il tasto di blocco.
6. Messaggi di errore
Se il display visualizza uno dei seguenti messaggi d’errore, la funzione di agitazione si ferma automaticamente.

7. Manutenzione e Pulizia

➢Il trasporto dello strumento tramite spedizionieri, corrieri o altro, deve essere effettuato utilizzando
l'imballo originale antiurto di cui lo strumento è dotato quando spedito da nuovo. Seguire le istruzioni
eventualmente riportate sullo stesso (es. pallettizzare).
Pulizia
➢Deve essere eseguita, dopo aver staccato l’alimentazione, con un panno inumidito con detergenti non
infiammabili e non aggressivi.

2. 装配和安装
•拆开包装
➢拆开包装后检查设备的完整性.

➢将仪器连接到一个无刷电机上，4极，24 V，¼ HP，最大 8,3 A

➢确保仪器的额定值与电源的额定值相一致。
➢确保所提供的带接地的插座符合现行的安全规范，并易于触及。只使用随仪器提供的电缆
➢将电源线插入插座
注意事项: 该电缆只能由具有相同特性的主电缆替代（T=70°C，连接器 C14）。
3. 工作
调试
➢通过主开关打开仪器(J)
➢屏幕 (A) 显示软件版本、最后一个设定值和 OFF（如果 "模式 "设置为 "停止"，见第 5章）。
搅动
➢通过转动速度控制旋钮调整速度设定点(F)
➢点击旋钮，开始搅动
➢速度增加，直到达到设定点
➢一个微处理器确保即使在粘度变化时也能保持恒定的速度（反作用）。
➢通过点击旋钮关闭搅拌
计时器
➢点击定时器键（H）。HH:MM 出现在显示屏上

➢一旦设置了定时器，定时器 LED（G）就会亮起
➢在仪器开始搅拌之前，LED 灯是持续的。当仪器搅动时，LED 灯闪烁
➢在分析过程中，可以通过点击定时器键，在每个时刻直观地看到（或修改）倒计时。(H)
➢当倒计时结束时，显示屏上会显示 "结束"。
反转
➢通过点击反转键设置搅拌的旋转方向 (D).
➢设置的旋转方向有其相对的 LED 灯亮起：顺时针(C) 和逆时针 (E)
扭矩
➢扭矩指示条 (B), 由四个 LED 灯组成，显示施加的扭矩强度。
➢CONTROLLER Digital 型号不能像Advance 型号那样显示精确的扭矩值
锁定
➢按住锁定键 (H) 3秒，就可以锁定控制面板。
➢按住 H键3秒钟，解除控制面板的锁定。
➢当仪器被锁定时，LED（I）亮起
4. 外部连接
USB
➢该型号在后面有 USB 连接，可通过 PC 升级软件。
5. 菜单
