BEFORE FIRST USE
When plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary
smoking. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit.
When using for the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke
dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds. Should the smoke last longer, please
have it checked by the nearest customer service.
Advantages of ionic hair dryers
The first advantage of the ionic hair dryer is to minimise trauma that hair suffers while
drying because it is less harsh than traditional ones. The use of an ionic hairdryer not only
accelerates the hair drying process, but also reduces the heat that is necessary to dry
hair efficiently. The ionisation process, by fragmenting water droplets, allows for faster and
more hair-friendly drying.
The second benefit of using a ionic hair dryer is related to the first one and is aesthetic. By
combatting static electricity, the ionic hair dryer helps to keep the hair better styled by
making it more malleable for blow-drying or styling. Moreover, with a shorter hair drying
time, your hair will look softer to the touch and shinier.
HOW TO USE YOUR HAIR DRYER
•Adjust the desired blowing strength:
oPosition 0: off
oPosition 1: medium power, medium temperature for gentle drying and styling
oPosition 2: full power, high temperature for fast drying
•Use the high setting for drying hair, and use the low setting for styling.
•Should the hair dryer stop working for any reason, switch it off immediately and let it
cool down.
•Always ensure the switch is set to the “off”position before unplugging the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Make sure the air inlet and outlet grilles are
not blocked. To unblock the grilles, use a vacuum cleaner or a sharp object. Make sure
you do not push the particles blocking the grilles into the appliance, as they might
damage the appliance or even catch fire.
You can clean the housing of the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Make sure the
appliance is completely dry before using it again.
After use
Unplug the appliance, allow it to cool down, and store it in its box or in a dry place. Never
store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the power cord tightly around the
appliance. Never hang the unit by the power cord. Disentangle the power cord before
and after each use.
