VV-B120 Telephone
Users Guide
Commissioning
1. Adjustment to the telephone central unit.
Dependent of the type of the telephone central unit, the signal
push button R, can be selected for different functions.
Function adjustment of the signal button
As follow:
1. Picking up the receiver and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Enter button.
3. Press button number 1.
4. Enter code number 000 by pushing buttons.
5. Enter repeat button.
6. Set code as mentioned below
Different possibilities:
Code 033 Function Earth by "Pulse" central unit.
Code 036 Function Earth by "Tone" central unit
Code 037 Function Flashhook by "Tone" central unit.
7. Enter set button.
8. Replace the receiver.

2. Switching permanently from pulse to tone and visa versa
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Press the "set " button.
3. Press button 1.
4. Enter code 000.
5. Press the "redial" button
6. Enter the code (see below):
Code 033 pulse
Code 036 tone
7. Press the "set" button.
8. Replace the receiver.
Operating
3. General
Telephone models VV-B100 and VV-B120 are set to "tone"
dialling as a standard. See Section 7 for switching
temporarily to "tone "
Operating elements
4. Redial button
If the number you have dialled is engaged, or the
participant does not respond, break the connection by
replacing the receiver or by pressing the cradle switch by
hand. The telephone will now automatically store the last
number you dialled (22 digits maximum).
You can repeat the number by:
1. Picking up the receiver
2. Press.
The last number dialled will now be redialled.

5. Signal button
Depending on the telephone central unit, the call can be
transferred to another telephone or placed on standby.
6. Mute button
The receiver can be deactivated simply pressing this
button when wish to consult someone in the room with
you during a call. Your telephone partner will then not
able to hear what is being said.
Deactivating the receiver.
1. Press.
2. Consult.
Reactivating the receiver.
1. Press.
2. Continue conversation.
7. Switching temporarily from "pulse" to "tone"
This section is not applicable if the telephone is set to
"tone"
It may be necessary to switch temporarily to "tone" if the
telephone is set to "pulse".
(Data traffic)
This is done by:
1. pressing (set)
2. pressing (special button)
3. pressing (set)
The telephone is now temporarily set to "tone". The
original setting can be retrieved by replacing the receiver
and repeating points 1 to 3.

8. Speed dialling
Storing a speed-dial number.
To store a number under one of the three name buttons:
1. Remove the receiver and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Press the "set" button
3. Press the desired name button.
4. Enter the number.
5. Press the "set" button
The number is now stored in the memory.
Deleting a speed-dial number
When a new number is entered under a name button, the
previous number will be overwritten by the new number.
Speed dialling
Proceed as follows the select a number stored in the
memory:
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Wait for the dialling tone.
3. Press the desired name button. The stored number
will now be dialled.
9. Volume
The volume is permanent set on + 6 dB
10. Call tone volume
The first option:
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Press the "set" button.
3. Press 5.
4. Select the desired volume by pressing buttons 1 - 4.
(1 = soft, 4 = loud)
5. Press the "set " button again.
6. Replace the receiver.
The second option:
Do not pick up the receiver when the telephone rings.
Press one of the 1 - 4 buttons. The selected volume is
automatically stored in the memory.

11. Call frequency
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling tone.
2. Press the "set" button
3. Press 6.
4. The desired frequency can now be selected by
pressing buttons 1 - 4.
(1 = slow, 4 = fast)
5. Press the "set" button.
