This is FiOS TV. It’s so easy, all you have to do is “Press the button.” These are the
buttons and what they do.

Info displays description of show
you are watching.
STB activates Set Top Box.
Power turns devices
on or off.
Guide accesses
the TV listings.
DVD, AUX, TV, STB selects
which programmed device
you want to control.
Menu shows the Main Menu.
Options provides service
options.
OK selects item
highlighted in blue.
Favorites displays your
favorite channel listings. Skip Forward jumps
forward in recorded TV.
Fast Forward fast forwards
media. Also advances to next
day’s TV listings.
Records to DVR.
Aspect changes display
format.
CH +/- changes channels or
moves up or down through
menu screens and TV listings.
DVR launches DVR menu.
On Demand provides access
to Video On Demand.
Exit closes any on-screen
display and returns you
to regular viewing.
Widgets provides instant
access to local weather,
traffic updates and more.
Skip Back activates instant
replay.
FiOS TV returns to live
TV programming.
Last returns to last selected
channel. Press again to return
to current channel.
Stops media.
Plays or Pauses current DVD,
VOD or DVR media.
(cc) Switches between
closed-caption options.
A/V selects video source
for some TV, DVD, VCR or
Home Theater Systems.
Rewind rewinds media.
Also jumps back to previous
day’s TV listings.
Here’s how to set up your FiOS remote:
1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the TV button.
3. While holding down the TV button, press OK.
4. Release both buttons. The Device Buttons will blink twice.
5. Press 9 2 2.
6. Point the remote at the TV.
7. Press .
8. Press . Every time you press this button, the remote
sends out a new power-off command to the TV. Keep
pressing the button until the TV turns off. (You can press
to go back.)
9. When the TV turns off, you have found the right code. Press
OK to store this code.
For additional information on device codes, refer to the FiOS TV Remote
Control User Guide that came with your remote.
If you have a DVR:
If you have a Set Top Box with a built-in DVR, you have special
button functions. Here’s what they do:
• DVR button displays your list of recorded programs.
• Pause button is a rocker button. Press the lower half of
the button to pause the program. Press the upper half of
the button to continue to play from where you left off.
• Skip back button jumps back a few seconds in the
program you are watching.

program you are watching.
• Record button records the current program.
