Please Read the Instruction Entirely Before Use
Do Not Discard and Keep for Future Reference
Each new shredder has passed Shredding Paper Quality Test by manufacturer,
thus several small paper particles might be left in the basket or cutter.

WARNING
Operation, maintenance, and service requirements are covered in the
instruction manual. Read the entire instruction manual before operating
shredders.
Keep away from children and pets. Keep hands away from paper entry.
Always set to off or unplug when not in use.
Keep foreign objects - gloves, jewelry, clothing, hair, etc. - away from
shredder openings. If object enters top opening, switch to Reverse to
back out object.
DO NOT use aerosol products, petroleum based or aerosol lubricants on or
near shredder.
DO NOT USE “CANNED AIR” OR “AIR DUSTERS” ON SHREDDER.
THIS SHREDDER DO NOT NEED LUBRICANTS.
Do not use if damaged or defective. Do not disassemble shredder. Do not
place near or over heat source or water.
Insulation paint on the shredder motor might volatilize slight smell during the first several
overheats.
Several small paper particles might be left in the basket after 100% full testing by the
manufacturer.
Please Note:
Avoid touching exposed cutting blades under shredder head.
Shredder must be plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet or socket
of the voltage and amperage designed on the label. The grounded outlet
or socket must be installed near the equipment and easily accessible.
Energy converters, transformers, or extension cords should not be used
with this product.
FIRE HAZARD - DO NOT shred greeting cards with sound chips or batteries.
For indoor use only.
Unplug shredder before cleaning or servicing.

1. Take out the shredder head from the box, and then put it onto the basket.
Make sure that shredder head is resting securely on top of basket.
2. Place the installed shredder on flat surface and plug into the socket, switch to
Auto mode, the shredder is now ready to work.

WILL SHRED: The shredder 1201C will shred 14 sheets of A4 80gsm paper or 1 Credit
Card or 1 Junk Mail or 1 CD at once, and accepts paper width up to 220mm.
*ONE FOLDED SHEET OF PAPER= TWO SHEETS OF PAPER
WILL NOT SHRED: continuous forms, adhesive labels, transparencies, newspaper,
cardboard, laminates, file folders, X-rays or plastic other than noted above.
Safety Feature
This shredder has a Duty Cycle of 5 minutes on and 30 minutes off. Due to safety
concern, it is equipped with“Thermal Protection”. If working continuously over 5mins,
the motor overheats and stops automatically. And it resumes to work after cool down
for 30 mins.
Operation Guide
AUTO: Activates the auto shred function, the shredder starts automatically upon paper/
card/CD inserted into the entry; it returns to Auto Standby mode after paper/card is
fully shredded.
OFF: Switch to this position after shredding or before emptying the waste bin.
REV: When paper get overloaded or jammed or you wish to stop during shredding,
switch to REV to clean the jammed paper or reverse out the paper.
Maintenance:
Always use a dry non-abrasive soft cloth when cleaning the shredder.
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE SHREDDER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND
REMOVE PAPER FROM THE ENTRY.
DO NOT INSERT METAL OBJECTS INTO THE ENTRY SLOT OR THE BLADES.
Tips: (To prevent paper jams)
Do not shred more than 14 A4 80gsm sheets at once.
After shredding one bundle of paper, please wait 2-3 seconds and then insert the next
bundle, to make sure no paper particles remain in the blades;
After all shredding is done, please switch to REV to clean all the paper particles
remaining in the blades, it helps to clean the shredder for next time use.

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
This recycling logo informs that deposing the shredder as general garbage
is forbidden. In order to protect environment and human health, please
dispose of the waste electric products and packing materials correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Shredder does not work after
paper is inserted

Motor overheating. Wait for about 30 minutes and restart.
Paper feed may be jammed. Set the slide sw itch to “REV” and
withdraw the shredding paper.

The warranty of this shredder is 12 months from the date of first purchase from an
authorized dealer. In order to provide the best experience for our customers, each
shredder has been manufactured with care and meticulously tested before delivery.
Please make sure to keep the receipt of purchase and the original packaging.
Notice
If there be a defect or malfunction of this product, we will replace the product free of
charge. A copy of the proof of purchase showing original purchase date is required.
This warranty is void if the product has been subject to damage, unreasonable use,
improper service, or other causes not arising from defects in original material or work-
manship. This warranty is void if factory seal is broken or removed from the product.
This warranty does not include adjustments, parts or repairs required by circumstances
beyond the control of us.
Before returning any product, please contact our Service Center for specific return
instructions.
