Operation Instructions
■ Operation for basic Video Outdoor Station
1) When visitor presses the Call Button on the Outdoor Station, the monitor rings, at the same
time, the screen displays the visitor’s image, and Blue LED flashes.
2) When you press the TALK Button, you can talk with the visitor for 90 seconds, During the talk
state, press TALK Button again to end the conversation. If nobody answers the phone, the
screen will turn off within 30 seconds automatically. If the system connects two or more
Monitors, and while any Monitor starts to talk, the other Monitors will automatically shut off.
3) When Monitor is on standby, press MONITOR Button, the screen will display the view of the
Outdoor Station. During monitoring state, press TALK Button, you can speak to the Outdoor
Station, or press MONITOR again to turn off. However, monitoring state is limited to 30
seconds and will be shut off automatically.
4) Press ULOCK Button to release the Electronic Latch during monitoring or talking.
5) Image quality can be adjusted by means of Contrast and Brightness rheostats.
6) The ring and talk volume can be adjusted individually.
■ Operation for intercom
1) When system is connected with multi Monitors, intercom is available.
2) Intercom calling can be initiated by any Monitor. Press CALL button, IN USE led will lighten,
and other Monitors will ring. If TALK Button is pressed in another Monitor, the intercom talking
is connecting.
3) In calling state, press TALK Button to cancel, or it will exit automatically after 30 seconds if no
answers.
4) Intercom function is prior to monitor function, but calling function is always first.
■ Operation for ring selection
1) When Monitor is standby, press FUNC Button and hold for 2 seconds to enter Chord melody
selection state and the current melody will be played.
2) Press FUNC Button again to switch to next chord melody sequentially, one more time Chord
Select Button is pressed, next melody is switched and played.
3) Press TALK Button to confirm melody selection; press MONITOR/UNLOCK/CALL Button to
exit without saving the change.
4) The monitor will exit automatically if no operation within 30 seconds.
■ Operation for multi Outdoor Stations or Cameras (Only if VT-MDS is installed)
1) When a Outdoor Station calls, Monitor image and talk will be switched automatically.
2) All Monitors can survey each Outdoor Station in turn. Press MONITOR Button in standby, the
image of 1st Door Station is displayed firstly, press TALK to talk; If press MONITOR one more
time, the image will switch to next Outdoor Station, etc. After monitoring the last image, press
MONITOR will exit, or shut off within 30 seconds.
3) During monitoring or talking state, press UNLOCK Button will just open the lock connected
with the being supervised Outdoor Station.

zNote 1: JP-VD is used for setting
the video impedance. When there is
only one Monitor, keep the jumper
(which is already on JP-VD ). But
when multi Monitors are installed,
be sure of taking away all JP-VD of
Monitors except only the last
Monitor.
zNote 2: LB includes 3 wiring
Terminals: ‘1’-Normally Opened
Terminal, ‘2’- Common Terminal,
‘3’- Normally Closed Terminal. If the
latch is activated when powering,
connect it between ‘1’ and ‘2’
terminal; if the latch is deactivated
when powering, connect it between
‘2’ and ‘3’ terminal.
zNote 3: JP-LK is used for Latch
selection, refer to Electronic Latch
connecting parts .
Extra power supply for latch must be installed, and
nearly all kinds of electronic latch can be used,
please see Note 2 for reference. Incidentally, in this
mode, you can continue talking and monitoring
during unlock operation.
The Latch can directly connect with the Outdoor
Station and the power through monitor. During
unlock operation, the monitor will close screen
automatically. The Latch is rated voltage is 12V,
less than 500mA consumption.
Note: Please use right and specific Latch.

MAINTENANCE
1. All components should be protected from violent vibration, impacting, knocking and dropping.
2. If necessary, clean the lens and screen with dampen soft cotton cloth do not use chemical cleaning agent.
3. Image distortion may occur if the monitor is installed near microwave ovens, TVs, computers, DC/AC adaptors or any other electro
magnetic field generating appliances.
4. Keep all monitors and cameras away from high temperature, dust, caustic and oxidation gas.
5. Use only with the VS-747PS power supply which is supplied by the authorised VIDEOMAN supplier.
6. Pay attention to the high voltage inside the products. Please ensure this unit is only serviced by qualified professionals.

WARRANTY STATEMENT
This equipment is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase as indicated on
the proof of purchase and/or by serial number on the product.
Defective units returned by the purchaser at his own expense during this period will be repaired (or replaced at the option of the distributor) with an
equivalent piece of refurbished and tested equipment. The repaired or replaced equipment is then warranted for the balance of the initial warranty period or
for thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.
The repair or replacement will be without charge provided that the equipment has not been subjected to electrical of physical misuse or to unauthorised
repair or modification.
The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The purchaser's exclusive remedy with respect to any and all losses or damages resulting from any cause whatsoever, shall be repair or replacement as
specified above.
Distributor shall in no event be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, however occasioned, whether by negligence or otherwise. No suit or
action shall be brought against manufacturer more than one year after the accrual of the cause of action therefore. No agent, employee or representative of
the distributor nor any other person is authorised to modify this warranty in any respect. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
