1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des Produktes
bzw. dessen Einbau diese Bedienungsanleitung auf-
merksam durch. Bewahren Sie diese auf, sie ist Teil des
Produktes.
1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Originals bzw.
der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann das Produkt Spit-
zen, Kanten und abbruchgefährdete Teile aufweisen.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Anhängen an CarMotion Fahrzeuge.
- Zum Anschluss an CarMotion Fahrzeuge.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht be-
stimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden haftet
der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
- Anhänger oder Auflieger aus der CarMotion Serie
- Anleitung
2. Einleitung
Funktionen der CarMotion Anhänger/Auflieger
Durch den Anschluss an die Zugmaschine werden folgende
Funktionen übertragen:
- Infrarot-Sender für Abstandssteuerung
- Bremslichter, Rückleuchten und Rückfahrscheinwerfer
- Blinker rechts/links und Warnblinker steuerbar
- CarMotion Anhänger/Auflieger werden vom Zugfahr-
zeug automatisch erkannt
3. Betrieb
Achtung!
Der Anschluss des Anhängers/Aufliegers darf nur bei
abgeschaltetem Zugfahrzeug vorgenommen werden.
Aufsetzen von Auiegern
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Aufliegers vorsichtig in die
vorgesehene Buchse am gewünschten Zugfahrzeug (siehe
Abb. 1 und 2).
Drehen Sie den Auflieger zweimal. Dies gewährleistet eine
optimale Kabelführung (Abb. 3).
Beim Einstecken des Königszapfens achten Sie bitte darauf,
dass keine Kabel eingeklemmt werden (Abb. 4).
Bitte überprüfen Sie die Kabelführung! Das Kabel muss
flach auf dem Zugfahrzeug aufliegen und nicht durch den
Königszapfen eingeklemmt sein (Abb. 5 und 6)!

1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For attaching to CarMotion vehicles.
- For connecting to CarMotion vehicles.
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is
considered inappropriate. The manufacturer is not responsible
for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness:
- Trailer or semitrailer from the CarMotion series
- Manual

CarMotion trailer/semitrailer features
Upon connecting to the tractor, the following functions are
transmitted:
- Infrared transmitter for distance control
- Braking, rear and reversing lights
- Direction indicators right/left and warning lights controllable
- CarMotion trailers/semitrailer are automatically detected
by the towing vehicle
3. Operation
Caution!
The trailer/semitrailer may only be connected when the
towing vehicle is switched off.
Mounting of semitrailers
Carefully insert the trailer plug into the designated socket
on the desired towing vehicle (refer to fig. 1 and 2)
Rotate the semitrailer twice to ensure optimal cable rout-
ing (fig. 3).
When inserting the kingpin, please ensure that no cables
are pinched (fig. 4).
Verify the cable routing! The cable must lie flat on the
towing vehicle and should not be pinched by the kingpin
(fig. 5 and 6).

Anhängen von Anhängern
Hängen Sie den Anhänger gemäß Abb. 7 an.
Danach stecken Sie den Stecker vorsichtig in die vorgesehe-
ne Buchse am gewünschten Zugfahrzeug (siehe Abb.8+9).
Die Anhänger/Auflieger werden automatisch vom Zugfahr-
zeug (ab Fahrzeug-Firmware 1.20) erkannt, ein Eingriff
über den CarManager ist somit nicht notwendig.

Attachment of trailers
Attach the trailer as illustrated in fig. 7.
Subsequently, carefully insert the plug into the designated
socket on the desired towing vehicle (refer to fig. 8+9).
The trailers/semitrailers are automatically detected by the
towing vehicle (from vehicle firmware 1.20 onwards), elim-
inating the need for any intervention via the CarManager.

Kaufdatum. Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf und Sie finden
die Fehlerursache nicht, nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt mit uns
auf ([email protected]). Senden Sie uns
den Artikel zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur bitte erst nach
Rücksprache zu. Wird nach Überprüfung des Artikels ein
Herstell- oder Materialfehler festgestellt, wird er kostenlos
instandgesetzt oder ausgetauscht. Von der Gewährleistung
und Haftung ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen des
Artikels sowie Folgeschäden, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Nichtbeachten der Bedienungsanleitung, nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, eigenmächtigen Eingriff,

4. Warranty
Each model is tested as to its full functionality prior to de-
livery. The warranty period is 2 years starting on the date
of purchase. Should a fault occur during this period please
contact our service department (service@viessmann-
modell.com). Please send the item to the Viessmann ser-
vice department for check and repair only after consulta-
tion. If we find a material or production fault to be the cause
of the failure the item will be repaired free of charge or
replaced. Expressively excluded from any warranty claims
and liability are damages of the item and consequential
damages due to inappropriate handling, disregarding the
instructions of this manual, inappropriate use of the model,
unauthorized disassembling, construction modifications
and use of force, overheating and similar.
Entsorgen Sie dieses Produkt nicht über den (un-
sortierten) Hausmüll, sondern führen Sie es der
Wiederverwertung zu.
Do not dispose of this product through (unsorted)
domestic waste, supply it to recycling instead.
