WARNINGS
Thismonitorshouldbe operated onlyatthe correct powersourcesindicated on the labelon the rearend
of the monitor.If you reunsureofthe powersupplyinyourresidence, consult you local dealerorpower
company.
Useonlythe specialpoweradapterthatcomeswiththismonitorforpowerinput.
Do nottry torepairthe monitoryourselfasitcontainsno user-serviceableparts.Thismonitorshouldonly
be repaired byaqualified technician.
Do notremovethemonitorcabinet. Thereishigh-voltage partsinside thatmaycauseelectricshock to
human bodies, even when the powercordisunplugged.
Stopusing the monitorif thecabinetisdamaged.Haveitchecked byaservicetechnician.
Putyourmonitoronlyinaclean, dryenvironment. If it getswet, unplug the powercableimmediatelyand

specified inthepartslistmaycreateshock,fire,orotherhazards.
1.3 Service notes
Whenreplacing partsorcircuit boards, clampthe lead wiresaroundterminalsbeforesoldering.
Whenreplacing ahigh wattage resistor(morethan 1Wofmetal oxide filmresistor) incircuitboard, keep
the resistorabout 5mmawayfromcircuit board.
Keep wiresawayfromhigh voltage, high temperaturecomponentsand sharpedges.
Keep wiresintheiroriginal position soastoreduceinterference.

The NT68670 isahighlyintegrated flatpaneldisplaycontrollerthatinterfacesanalog,digital,
and video inputs.ItcombinesatripleADC, aDVIcompliantTMDSreceiver, adigital YUV
receiver,ahigh qualityzoomand shrinkengine ,amulti-coloron screen display(OSD)
controller, an advanced colorengine ,an liquidcrystaldisplayacceleratorover –driving that
embedded 1Mx16 SDRAMand manyotherfunctionsinasinglechip.It providesthe userwitha
simple,flexibleand cost-effectivesolution forvariousflat paneldisplayproducts.
The NT68670 operatesatfrequenciesup to170MHz, suitableforLCDmonitorup toUXGA
resolution.The NT68670 alsohasabuilt-innoisereduction function toprovide morestablevideo
quality, spread spectrumtoprovide lowEMI solution,sRGBforvideo colorspaceconvert and
post patternformanufacturetest.
The displayprovided multi-interfacewithtiming controllerorwithouttiming controller.With
timing controllerprovided single/doublepixelclock RSDSinterface;without timing controller
provide single/doublepixelclockLVDSinterface.
Inaddition,NT68670 includesan integrated 8-BitMicrocontroller(MCU).It containsan
8-bit 8031 micro-controller, 1,280-bytesinternaldatamemory,four7-bit resolution A/D
Converter, 10-channel
8-bitresolution PWMDAC,two16-bit timer/counters, andaUART. Except those,ithas
two-channelhardwareDDC solution, and VESA 2Bi/2B+master/slaveI2C businterface.

1.All Modes Reset
Youshoulddo All Model Reset”(RefertoChap3. HotKeysfor
FunctionControls)first.Thisactionwillallow youtoerase all
end-user’ssettingsandrestorethefactorydefaults.
2.AutoImageAdjust
TheAutoAdjustisaimedtoofferabestscreenqualitybybuilt-in
ASIC. Foroptimumscreenquality, theuserhas toadjusteach
functionmanually.
A.Turnthecomputerand LCD monitoron.
B. Press the ‘Auto button on monitorkeypad toAutoAdjust.
C.The LCD monitorwillstart the AutoAdjust process automaticallyand
run for10 consecutiveseconds, during whichtimeyou willnoticethe
image change.
