Precautions to be taken for the correct operation of the system
Connecting cables must be installed so that inductive and capacitive noise does not interfere with the au-
tomation functions (in particular, do not run the control cables alongside power cables).
Fluctuations in mains voltage or deviations from its rating must not exceed the tolerance limits indicated in
the present instructions as these can cause faulty operation.
Ensure that any electrostatic charge is discharged before touching the controller.
Note: each time the system is switched on, the controller runs a test program for 5 seconds before entering RUN
mode. The parameters and settings are retained if the supply is interrupted (the clock retention time is greater
than 48hrs).
Reminder: the installation must comply with the requirements of the EMC and Low Voltage Directives.
The installation of this product and its accessories, their settings and any other work on them must be

4. COMMISSIONING
4.1 Preliminary remarks
• Use the 24V 50/60Hz safety very low voltage output only to control the accessories
described in these instructions.
• In the event of an interruption of supply, the unit remembers its previous state: “emer-
gency” or “comfort” mode, so as to automatically resume the same operating mode
when the supply returns.
4.2 Operating logic of the PILOT PARC
When there is a request for high ventilation speed, the PILOT PARC rst sets itself to low
ventilation speed for 5 seconds (factory setting):
Ventilation shut o ( ) ► Request for high ventilation speed ► execution of ℗
( ): following Emergency Shuto or supply interruption or in O mode (local request or
from remote unit)
℗: Low ventilation speed for 5 seconds then high ventilation speed.
This principle reduces the mechanical stresses on the fan(s) (in both comfort and emergency modes).
To modify this factory setting: see § "4.3.3 Modication of “LS times before switching to HS”", page 12.
4.2.1 Operation logic according to the position of front panel switches
“LOCAL / REMOTE / OFF” switch = aects comfort operation:
"OFF" position ► Motor(s) forced(s) o (only emergency mode can take control of the system).
"LOCAL" position ► Comfort controlled by “LS/AUTO/HS” switch on front panel.
External “comfort control unit” or “CO/NO2 detection system” controls = no eect.
If “LS/AUTO/HS” switch inAUTO position: the clock controls the motor(s).
"REMOTE" position ► The “LS/AUTO/HS” switch must be in “AUTO” position.
The speed of the motor(s) will then be controlled by an external comfort control unit or a CO/NO2 detec-
tion system.
• CO/NO2 detection system:
-PILOT PARC does not measure these gases !
-It is controlled by volt-free contacts!
• If no external run command is given to the PILOT PARC (neither LS or HS), the run
command is given by the clock.
"LS/AUTO/HS" switch = aects comfort mode when the “LOCAL / REMOTE / OFF” switch is in “LO-
CAL” position.

R B10 Q3B = low speed motor 1
RB11 Q4B = high speed motor 1
R B14 Q1E = auxiliary motor run
R B15 Q2E = high speed auxiliary motor
R B12 Q3E = low speed motor***
R B13 Q4E = high speed motor***
Smoke extraction active R 1204 0/1 B08 Correspond to ""Q2B = 1 et Q4B = 1""
(+Q4E = 1 if 2 motors unit)
* 2 modules make up the controller: a base (B) + an extension (E), references B and E included in the designations of the inputs.
Example: I1B = input I1 of the Base module (EASY-E4-UC-12RC1) / Q1E = Q1 output of the Extension module (EASY-E4-UC-
8RE1).
** Activation of these inputs has priority over their physical state according to the following logic:
- Priority fan (s) stop = high priority.
- High speed operation with priority over low speed (modbus or physical).
***MASTER PARK PILOT versions 2 engines only.
