Section 1.Safety Information & Guidelines
This user manual will guide you through the functions and usage of your Viotek Clout Wireless
Outdoor Speaker. It is important that you follow all instructions and regard all notes that
appear throughout this manual. Consult this manual before you attempt to use your speaker.
If you have questions not answered by this manual or are in need of repair or non-routine
service, contact Viotek customer service at 1-855-229-9472. Before contacting customer
service, please have your purchase information ready.
1.1 Information
When reading this manual, note these icons:

Before Using the Clout Speaker
• Check the contents section within this manual to ensure all parts were received. If any
part is missing, contact the Viotek customer service.
• Charge the speaker at least 3hrs before attempting to use it for the rst time.
• If the speaker will not be used for a long period of time, discharge and recharge the
battery once a month and store in a dry, suitable location.

General Safety
• Clean the outside with non-abrasive cloth and/or water only. Do not spray any part of
the speaker or its accessories with any kind of cleaner.
• If the speaker or any of its accessories create abnormal noise, odor, or leakage, etc.,
immediately stop use and disconnect the product(s) from all power sources. Do not
touch the speaker or any of its accessories. Contact customer service immediately.
• Do not look directly into the speaker’s LED light when it is on.
• Do not attempt to dissemble the speaker or any of its accessories.
• Store the speaker indoors at a dry and stable temperature. Do not store in an unheated
garage, shed, or other location with extreme temperature fluctuations.
Battery & Charging
• Before storing, fully charge the speaker to prevent battery over-discharge due to
non-use.
• Cover the speaker to protect it from dust. Do not store in a dusty environment as, with
all electronic devices, dust may cause damage over time.
• Refer any battery maintenance to Viotek.
• The speaker may not be used with any type of power converter.
• Use only the charging cable included in the original packaging or received from
Viotek as a replacement to charge the speaker.

1.2 Disposal at End-of-Life
This product must not be disposed of by incineration, landlling, or mixing with household
trash. Improper disposal of the battery contained within this product may result in the battery
heating up, rupturing, or igniting which may cause serious injury. The substances contained
inside the battery present chemical risks to the environment. The recommended disposal
for any Viotek Clout Wireless Outdoor Speaker at its end-of-life is to dispose of the entire unit
at or through an e-waste recycling center, program, or facility. Local regulations and laws
pertaining to the recycling and disposal of lithium ion batteries and/or products containing
them will vary according to country, state, and local governments. You must check laws
and regulations corresponding to where you live in order to properly dispose of the battery
and/or unit. It is the user’s responsibility to dispose of their waste equipment properly with
accordance with local regulations and laws.
For additional information about where you should drop off your batteries and electrical
or electronic waste, please contact your local or regional waste-management ofce, your
household waste disposal service, or your point-of-sale.

1. LED Light: shines at different intensities for lighting needs or SOS mode
2. Control Panel: activates/deactivates the speaker’s main functions
3. D-Ring: provides an opening for a carabiner or other type of attachment
4. Micro USB Charging Port: for use with the charging cable and a power source for charging
5. 3.5mm AUX Audio Jack: for use with the AUX or other 3.5mm audio cable for wired
audio playback
6. Microphone: picks up audio during calls when connected to a mobile device
7. Dual Speakers: emit audio according to the connected audio source
8. Mount Opening: allows the included bike mount or universal mounts to be attached to
the speaker
9. LED Indicator: uses multi-color lights to indicate different conditions and/or statuses of
the speaker

Section 3.How to Charge
The speaker comes with a 1000mAh capacity rechargeable battery. Charge your speaker
before using it for the rst time or whenever the LED Indicator is yellow and indicating low
battery status.
Step1. Connect the Micro USB Cable to the speaker’s charging port then connect the other
end to a power source. The Micro USB Cable can be connect to a wall outlet via an
adapter (not included), or another suitable source via the USB port.
Step2. Allow up to 3 hrs for the battery to fully charge. The LED Indicator will turn red to
indicate the headset is charging. When the headset is fully recharged, the LED
Indicator will turn off automatically.
Step3. When the speaker is fully charged, disconnect from the Micro USB Cable.
• Charge according to these instructions, otherwise the battery may sustain damage.
• Charging time is approximately 2.5-3 hours. Charging longer may affect battery life.
• Batteries perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles.
• If the speaker doesn’t charge, check that its charging cable is securely connected.
• The charging cable can only be used for charging. For wired audio playback, use the
AUX cable.
• Use only the charging cable included in the original packaging or received from
Viotek as a replacement.
• Before storing, fully charge the speaker to prevent battery over-discharge due to
non-use.
• Refer any battery maintenance to Viotek.

Section 4.How to Connect
4.1 NFC Connection
Using NFC, your mobile device may be paired to your speaker quickly and easily. If your
mobile device has an NFC function, follow the instructions below then use your speaker as
desired. For devices without NFC functionality, see section 4.2 for standard Bluetooth setup.
Step1. Turn on the NFC function with the device you wish to pair with the speaker.
Step2. Hold the device close to the NFC Mark and allow a few seconds for the device and
speaker to pair.
Step3. Use your speaker as desired.
If the device has been paired to the speaker before, turning on NFC or Bluetooth on
your device may prompt it to reconnect to the speaker automatically.
4.2 Bluetooth Connection
The speaker uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to your mobile phone or other Bluetooth-enabled
devices. After pairing your device and the speaker, the speaker can be used to play music,
handle phone calls, and more.
Pairing:
Step1. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth function.

Step2. Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds to turn the speaker on and enter
pairing mode. Once pairing mode is activated, the speaker will emit a sound and the
LED Indicator will flash blue and red.
Step3. Using your mobile device, turn on Bluetooth. Most devices will automatically become
discoverable and begin searching.
Step4. From your mobile device’s Bluetooth menu, select the speaker to begin pairing the
devices. The speaker will appear as “Clout”.
Step5. A prompt may appear on-screen on your mobile device. Enter the default
password “0000”.
Step6. Confirm as needed. Once the devices are successfully paired, LED Indicator will
flash blue.
Step7. To disconnect the devices, simply turn off the speaker or turn off your device’s
Bluetooth function.
• After turning on Bluetooth, most devices will become discoverable and/or
automatically search for other devices to pair to. If your device does not automatically
begin searching, refer to your device’s manufacturer for instructions.
• If the device has been paired to the speaker before, turning on Bluetooth on your
device may prompt it to reconnect to the speaker automatically.
Unpairing:
Step1. Using your mobile device, turn on Bluetooth.

Step2. From your mobile device’s Bluetooth menu, select the speaker “Clout” or the icon
next to the speaker’s name.
Step3. From the newly-opened menu, select “Unpair”.
Step4. Confirm as needed.
• Unpairing is only needed in the event of connection issues that require repairing. For
your convenience, only unpair the devices if needed.
• If unpairing from your device instead of the speaker, unpairing steps may vary. Refer to
your device’s manufacturer for instructions.
4.3 AUX Connection
The Clout Speaker comes with a 3.5mm AUX cable. This cable can be used to connect audio
devices to the speaker if the device doesn’t have NFC or Bluetooth capability etc. To use the
cable, insert one end into the 3.5mm AUX Audio Jack and the other into your audio device.
Use the volume controls on your audio device or the speaker as desired. To learn about the
speaker’s audio controls, refer to Section 6.1.
Listening at high volume for extended periods of time may cause hearing damage. Set
the volume to a low level and adjust only as needed. Do not continuously expose your
ears to high volume.

Section 5.How to Use the Mount
A bike mount is included with your Clout Speaker and attached to the speaker via the Mount
Opening. The opening’s size is 0.25in and it can be used with the included mount or other
mounts with universal ts.
Step1. Locate the Mount Opening on the bottom of
the speaker.
Step2. Use the speaker’s opening and the screw on
top of the mount to attach the two.
Step3. Twist the ring on top of the mount to securely
attach the two.
Step4. Pull the mount’s knob up to open the mount.
Step5. Position the top of the mount over your
bike’s handlebars.
Step6. Close the underside of the mount to check the
fit. If the mount does not fully close, it may need
adjustment. Use the small screw at the side of
the mount to make adjustments according to
the thickness of your bike’s handlebars.
Step7. Close the underside of the mount and fold the
knob down to secure it.

Section 6. How to Use the Control Panel
6.1Playing Music
When connected to a mobile phone or audio device, the speaker
can be used to play music. Press the Phone Button to play or pause up
a track. To skip tracks, press the Button to skip back to the previous
track or press Button to skip forward to the next track. To adjust the
audio, press and hold the Button to lower the volume or press and
hold the Button to raise the volume.
6.2 Managing Calls
When connected to a mobile phone, the speaker can be used to handle phone
calls. Press the Phone Button to answer or hang up a call. Press and hold the
button to decline a call. To redial the last dialed number, press the Phone Button
twice. During calls, use the microphone when you speak.
6.3 Using the LED Light
The LED Light is located at the front of the speaker and has multiple brightness
levels and an SOS mode for use according to your lighting needs or situation. Press
the button multiple times to cycle through the different brightness settings.
SOS Mode should be used if you’re outdoors and encounter unsafe situations. This mode
causes the light to ash in specic patterns to alert others to your need for help.

Section 6. How to Use the Control Panel
6.1Playing Music

can be used to play music. Press the Phone Button to play or pause up
a track. To skip tracks, press the Button to skip back to the previous
track or press Button to skip forward to the next track. To adjust the
audio, press and hold the Button to lower the volume or press and

Section 7. Storage & Maintenance
7.1 Storage Information
Before storing your speaker, ensure the storing environment is suitable. Properly storing your
speaker will help improve performance and battery life expectancy.
• Always turn the speaker off before transporting or storing.
• Before storing, fully charge the speaker to prevent battery over-discharge due to non-
use.
• Cover the speaker to protect it from dust. Do not store in a dusty environment as, with
all electronic devices, dust may cause damage over time.
• If storing for more than one month, discharge and recharge the battery every three
months.

7.2 Maintenance Information
As with proper storage, proper maintenance will help improve your speaker’s performance.
Please make sure your speaker is completely powered off before performing any type
of maintenance.
• Make sure the product has been powered off before cleaning.
• Use non-abrasive cloth to gently remove debris or dust.
• Never use any type of cleaner or solvent to clean any part of the product.
• If needed, lightly dampen a non-abrasive cloth with water and gently clear away
any debris.
• After cleaning the speaker, allow a 30-minute drying time before using the speaker.
• Never submerge any part of the speaker in any kind of liquid.
• Failure to adhere to the above guidelines may result in damage and is not covered
under warranty.

Section 9. Warranty Information
Your Viotek Clout Wireless Outdoor Speaker (”Product”) includes a One Year Limited Hardware Warranty
(“Warranty”). The Warranty covers product defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This
Warranty is limited to residents of the United States and Canada only and is available only to original
purchasers. This Warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary
from state to state.
This Warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts for one year (the “Warranty Period”). The
Warranty Period is not extended if the Product is repaired or replaced. We may change the availability of
this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
Warranty services are provided by Warranty Pro. If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is
received within the Warranty Period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, WP will: (1) repair
the hardware defect by using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and
reliability; or (2) exchange the Product with a product that is new or refurbished which is substantially
equivalent to the original product. This Warranty is for one replacement only of like-items and does not
cover items out of production if the product is no longer made or stocked. This Warranty is not assignable
or transferable. The original purchaser may call WP’s toll-free number at 1-855-229-9472 for service
request.
When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced
item becomes WP’s property. This warranty only covers technical hardware defectiveness during the
warranty period and under normal use conditions. WP does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free
operation of this Product.
This Warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d)
failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modications; (f)
unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other
actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

Important: Do not disassemble the Product. Disassembling the Product will void this Warranty. Only WP or
a party expressly authorized by WP should perform service on this Product.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY: THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES
AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL
WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE
DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.
