vipp Table VIPP971 User manual

‘Like all other Vipp products, the table is a true testament to
Vipp’s functional approach to design, where products come to life
based on a desire to create usable objects that provide experiences
out of the ordinary.’
MORTEN BO JENSEN, CHIEF DESIGNER AT VIPP
VIPP971 / VIPP972
Table
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nestled in the industrial design tradition, the Vipp table is designed to withstand the test of time in both function and
aesthetics. Available in two sizes, the table is highly durable, fitted with a tabletop made of ceramic or oak, resistant
to wear and tear from everyday use. Drawing on notes from the Vipp kitchen, the steel table frame delicately carries
the tabletop, and along with soft rounded corners it adds a light expression to the sturdy components. Set screws in
stainless steel make it possible to adjust the height of the table by 2 cm.
Materials
Tabletop of heat-pressed ceramic or chevron-patterned oak veneer. Frame with cast aluminum corners and steel pro-
files fitted with set screws in stainless steel.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR VIPP TABLE
A Vipp product is crafted from a design heritage dating back to 1939, founded
in an ambition to create timeless, functional products. Designed and manufac-
tured by Vipp, the table is uniquely cohesive combining quality, functionality
and design.
Like all Vipp products, a Vipp table is made to last. Just like first Vipp pedal
bin from 1939; this table is timeless in its aesthetics and valued for the joy
inherent in its daily use.
We hope you will enjoy your Vipp table for many years to come.
Kasper Egelund
CEO of Vipp and grandson of founder, Holger Nielsen
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend caring for the tabletop to ensure its long-lasting appeal and appearance.
Ceramic tabletop
General care: Use a cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Use a slightly rougher sponge for solid stains.
Lime stains: Use a lint-free cloth and a mild detergent suitable for painted surfaces. Rinse with water and wipe down the
frame with a dry cloth.
Grease stains: Use alcohol or glass cleaner to remove grease stains.
NOTE
Due to the hardness of the ceramic surface, please use caution when placing delicate items directly on the tabletop
Veneer tabletop
General care: Use a cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use sponges or similar coarse cloths as this might leave
scratches on the veneer. Scrub thoroughly for solid stains.
Grease and water stains: Carefully remove stains with a cloth and a solution of water and soap flakes. Do not use sandpaper
or similar as this might damage the protective layer of the surface.
Cleaning with soap flakes:
1. Use ½ deciliter of soap flakes for a liter of hot water. Whip the soap flakes into the water.
2. When the water reaches room temperature, apply the foam all over the upholstery with a so cloth.
Only use the foam, not the water, and avoid soaking the wood.
3. When the tabletop is dry, polish with a so, dry cotton cloth.
NOTE
The veneer tabletop should be treated as any other wooden tables. We recommend saturating the table with a solution of
water and dissolved soap flakes every 4-6 months to preserve its appearance. Always use coasters for drinking glass and
rivets for hot items to protect the wooden surface. Patina will develop over time.
Powder-coated surface of the table frame
Keep powder-coated surfaces clean and dry. Use a lint-free cleaning cloth or a so brush with warm water and a mild deter-
gent. Vipp products with dark surfaces should be cleaned with a so brush and, if stained, with a bit of water. Finish by wiping
down the surface with a dry cloth.

Vipp oers warranty on products according to national laws and regulations. The warranty does not cover defects or damage
caused directly or indirectly by misuse or poor maintenance, violence or manipulation.
The warranty presupposes rightful use as described in Vipp’s care instructions, which can be found in this folder or under the
