Unpacking your Multipar 18x7in1
Before you initially use your Multipar 18x7in1, please ensure there is no dama e caused by
transportation. Should there be any faults or dama es, consult Batmink Distribution and do not use
the device.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please ensure you have implemented all safety measures when operatin this product. With a
dan erous volta e you may suffer electric shock when touchin the wires. This device has left our
premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to ensure a safe
operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instruction and warnin notes
written in this manual.
Important:
Dama es caused by the disre ard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. Batmink
Distribution will not accept liability for any resultin defect or problem. Please ensure you follow the
health and safety recommendations below when usin the PAR 64-TRI 9-4 IN 1:
•If the device has been exposed to temperature fluctuation (e. . after transportation), please
do not switch it on immediately. Fluctuatin temperatures may cause dama e to your device.
We recommend that you leave your device switched off until the product has maintained
room temperature
•Please make sure that there are no obvious transport dama e. Should you notice any dama e
on the A/C connection cable or on the casin please contact Batmink Distribution

•Please handle the power cord with care. Never modify, bend, strain mechanically, put
pressure on, pull or heat up the power cord
•If an extension cord is required, make sure that the core diameter is sufficient for the required
power consumption of the device
•Always disconnect from the main power source when the device is not in use or before
cleanin it
•Please ensure you keep this device clean and in ood condition. If the power plu or the device
is dusty, the device must be taken out of operation, disconnected then be cleaned with a dry
cloth. Dust may reduce the insulation which could cause an electric shock. More severe levels
of dirt in the device should be removed by a specialist
•Please ensure you keep this device away from liquids or fluctuatin temperatures that may
cause condensation. If the device is on contact with any liquid, please disconnect the device
from the main power source immediately and leave to dry out before usin a ain. If there is
any dama e to the device please consult a specialist

OPERATING & INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
•This product is only allowed to be operated with an alternatin volta e of 90V/240V,50/60 Hz
and was desi ned for indoor use only. This device is desi ned for professional use (e. . on
sta e in discotheques, theatres etc.)
•Please do not leave this device runnin for lon er than recommended to ensure the device
operates efficiently for future use
•If used in conjunction with a smoke machine make sure that the device is never exposed to
the direct smoke jet and is installed in a distance of 0.5 meter between the smoke machine
and device
•The ambient temperature must always be between –5ºC and +45ºC
•The relative humidity must not exceed 50% with an ambient temperature of 45ºC.
•This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN
•The minimum distance between li ht-output and the illuminated surface must be more than
0.1 meters.
•This device is only allowed for an installation via mountin bracket. In order to safe uard
sufficient ventilation leave 50 cm of free space around the device.
•The installation of the device must be built and constructed in a way that can hold 10 times
the wei ht for 1 hour
•When installin the device, make sure there is no hi hly flammable material (i.e. decorations)
within a minimum of 0.5m

IMPORTANT OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE OF INSTALLTION, includin
(but not limited to):
•calculatin workin load limit
•periodic safety inspections of all installation materials bein used with the device
•safe install areas out of reach of people if the device is lowered from the ceilin or hi h points
•professional trussin systems must always be used with secure clamps
•secure installation to ensure the device does not swin freely
•the use of safety rope at least 12 times the wei ht of the fixture
•A maximum drop distance never exceedin 20cm

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
DMX – 512 connection. Wires must not meet each other, otherwise only use a stereo shielded cable
and 3-pin XLR plu and connector in order to connect the controller with the fixture, or one fixture
with another XLR connector.

When usin controllers with this device you can connect the DMX output of the controller directly
with the DMX input of the first fixture in the DMX chain. If you wish to connect DMX controller with
other XLR outputs you will need to use an adapter cable.
Building a serial DMX chain. Connect the DMX output of the first fixture in the DMX chain with the
DMX input of the next fixture. Always connect one output with the input of the next fixture until all
fixtures are connected.
Operational Modes:
The Multipar has seven modes of operation, manual dimmer colour mode, sound active mode, auto
run mode, static colour mode, pro ram select mode, slave mode and DMX mode.

SLAVE MODE
Press “MODE” button, select slave mode, the display will show SL.Au,
SET UP, UP or DOWN buttons do not work.

DIMMER MODE
Press “MODE” button select the manual dimmer colour select mode. The display will show
red as r.000 – r.255, press the “SET UP” to choose the different colours as shown in the
above table, ie reen G.000-G.255 etc, then press the “UP” and “DOWN” button to set the
dimmin rate 0-255.
Colour temperature can be selected by pressin the “MODE” button until the display shows
“Cr.00 – Cr.08” then press the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to select from the ei ht available
colours.
The Flash speed can be chan ed by selectin “MENU” until the display shows “F5.00 –
F5.15, you can press the “UP” and “DOWN” button to select from the 15 available flash
speeds.
SOUND ACTIVE MODE
There are two selections in this mode, one for sound activation and the second for sound
sensitivity.
Press “SET UP” button until the display shows “So01- So16”, then press the “UP” and
“DOWN” button to select from the sixteen different sound modes.
To select the Sensitivity, press the “SET UP” button until the display shows SJ-1 – SJ-8, then
press the “UP and DOWN buttons to select, 1 is sound sensitivity off, no 2 is the lowest
sensitivity and 8 is the hi hest.
AUTO RUN PROGRAM MODE
Press MODE button and select the auto pro rams, there are three available which can be
selected by pressin “SET UP”.
Colour Fade (dreamin ) mode; Press SET UP until the display shows AF01 to AF16, then
press the UP and DOWN button to select from the sixteen available pro rams.
Colour Jumpin ; Press SET UP until the display shows AJ01 to AJ16, then press the UP and
DOWN button to select from the sixteen available pro rams.
Auto Fade and Jumpin Mode; Press SET UP until the display shows A-JF the fade mode and
jumpin mode will continuously operate one after the other. The UP and DOWN buttons do
not work in this mode.
Auto Fade/Jump Speed control; Press SET UP until the display shows SP01 to SP16, then
press the UP and DOWN button to select from the sixteen available speeds, 1 bein the
slowest and 16 the fastest.
STATIC COLOUR SELECTION
Press the MODE button until the display shows CL.**, there are two different modes, colour
selection and flash speed.
Static Colour select; Press “SET UP” button until the display shows CL.00 – CL.63, then press
the UP and DOWN to select from the 63 colours available.
Flash Speed select; Press “SET UP” button until the display shows F5.00 – F5.15, then press
the UP and DOWN to select from the 15 speeds available.
OTHER PROGRAM FUNCTIONS
Display ON/OFF mode; when this mode is en a ed the display will switch off after 60
seconds after the last operation.

IR Remote Function; when switched on the fittin can be used with the correct IR remote
control (available separately)
Display Normal/Reverse; enables the user to switch over the display in a reverse mode.
Initialisation settin ; enables you to combine the first four colours only in the jumpin mode
(AJ01). To enable press SET UP until the display shows dEFA and the display flickers, now
press UP and DOWN buttons at the same time.
Infra Red Remote Control Operation Mode.
This allows the fittin to be operated by a separate remote control (available separately).
Press “MODE” button, press “UP” and “Down” buttons to select “1ron” this means the unit
can now be operated usin the separate remote control.
Listed below are the various pro rams and selections available on the remote control.
Auto Run Mode
Press SL/AU button to cycle amon auto run mode, colour dream, colour jump, sound
activate and slave mode. Each press of this button will chan e to the next step. When the
Multipar oes into the Auto run mode, By pressin FS/SP button to set the auto run speed
and press “+” and “-“ to adjust.
Select program Mode
Press “PROG” button to select static colour select mode. Then press “+” and “-“to select
from the 63 static colours and the 14 runnin modes in this pro ram.
When the Multipar is in the static colour selection you can press FS/SP button to turn on
flash and this can be adjusted usin the “+” and “-“ keys.
When the Multipar is in the Runnin mode pro rams you can press FS/SP and this will adjust
the speed usin “+” and “-“ keys.
When the Multipar oes into Sound activate mode you can press “+” and “-“ keys to select
from 16 different sound modes. You can press the FS/SP button to adjust the sound
sensitivity.
M/S Mode
Press “SL/AU” button to select between the auto run mode, sound activate and slave mode.
Each press of the button will chan e to the next mode.
Select light Program mode.
Press R,G,B,W,A,UV to choose any one of the colours, you can then use the “+” and “-“
buttons to adjust the intensity. Pressin the “A” button to switch between the Amber and

Lime Green colour. You can also press the FS/SP button to turn on/off flash effect and use
the + and – buttons to adjust the speed.
Setting DMX Mode using IR Remote
Press CH button to switch between DMX address set mode and DMX channels set mode.
Each press of this mode will chan e to the next mode.
1. When the Multipar oes into the DMX address set mode, you can press + or – to select
the DMX address.
2. When the Multipar is in the DMX channel set mode, you can press + or – to select the
DMX channels.
Setting DMX Address using IR Remote.
Press the button to set the DMX address (A) the red, reen, blue, white, amber and UV
li hts will flash 2-3 times.
Input the three address number for example 123. When the red li ht is on put in the first
number “1”, after this the reen li ht will be on and input the second number “2”, after this
when the blue li ht is on input the third number “3”. After you have inputted all three
numbers all the LED’s will flash 2-3 times and the address is accepted. If the address is
incorrect then the red li ht will remain on. A new DMX address should then be inputted.
Black out mode.
Press “Black OUT” to set the li hts power on or off by pressin the button.
