Operating instructions
Note:
The wireless headphones available for use
with the OH-7000 operate using infra red
signals. The headphones rely on there
being a clear path between the transmitter
located on the front panel of the
OH-7000 and the receivers located on
both sides of the headphones. Blocking
the path with an object may cause the
sound to be cut off. For example, when
adjusting the headphones with both
hands, the sound may be cut off as your
hands may be blocking the receivers.

Care and maintenance
Taking care of your system
Environmental and temperature
extremes
If subjected to harsh environmental
conditions the OH-7000 may be damaged
or operate less than at maximum efficiency.
Therefore, as far as possible, avoid leaving
the vehicle:
– In extremely hot or cold temperatures.
– In direct sunlight.
– In high humidity.
– In a dusty environment.
– In locations where strong magnetic
fields are generated.
– On a surface that is unstable or subject
to vibrations.
If the vehicle is parked in direct sunlight or in
an extremely cold place for a long time, wait
until the interior temperature of the vehicle is
normalised before operating the OH-7000.
Cleaning the screen
Always use a suitable screen cleaning fluid
and take care not to scratch the screen when
cleaning is necessary.
WARNING: The front glass on the liquid
crystal display may break when hit with a
hard surface. If the glass breaks, do not
touch the liquid crystalline material. In case
of contact with skin, wash immediately with
soap and water.
WARNING: Do not allow the OH-7000 to
become wet. If you suspect water ingress into
the unit, turn off the unit immediately and
return to your nearest Visteon retailer.
CAUTION: Do not expose the TFT screen to
direct sunlight or intensive ultraviolet rays for
extreme time periods. Ultraviolet rays
deteriorate the liquid crystal.
Avoid touching auxiliary input sockets with
fingers. Do not blow on them or allow them
to get wet or dirty.
