4.1. Lens Position
The device’s lens is prepositioned. While installing with wallmountbracket, position the
camerabodywhereimageswillbecaptured.
4.2. Setting the Image Attribute
Imageattributescan beconfiguredthroughtheweb interface.(Microsoft®Internet Explorer
recommended) The menu of image attribute can be foundunder Setup > Video & Audio >
Camera. Through setting menu, brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness, orientation,
exposurecontrol,backlightcompensation,digitalslowshutter(DSS),dayandnightmode,and
imagenoisefiltercanbeadjusted.

6.1. Set up network environment
ThedefaultIPaddressofthedeviceis192.168.XXX.XXX.UserscanidentifytheIPaddressofthe
device from converting the MAC address’s hexadecimal numbers, which is attached to the
device. Be sure that the device and PC are on a same area network before running the
installation.

6.1.1. Generic IP Environment
In case of generic private network environment where IP address 192.168.XXX.XXX are used,
usersmayviewthelivestreamingimagesonawebpageusingthedevice’sdefaultIPaddress:
1. Convert the device’s MAC address to the IP address. Refer to the HexadecimalDecimal
ConversionChartattheendofthemanual.
(TheMACaddressofthedeviceisattachedonthesideorbottomofthedevice.)
2. StarttheMicrosoft®InternetExplorerwebbrowserandentertheaddressofthedevice.
3. WebstreaminganddeviceconfigurationsaresupportedthroughActiveXprogram.Whenthe
ActiveXinstallationwindowappears,authorizeandinstalltheActiveX.
MACaddress=0013230114B1→IPaddress=192.168.20.177
Convertthelasttwosetofhexadecimalnumberstodecimalnumbers.

6.1.2. Custom IP Environment
IPAdminToolisprovidedinthedealerportal.
IPAdminToolisamanagementtool,whichautomaticallyscansallofthenetworkproductsfor
userstoperformadministrativetasks,whichincludesnetworkconfigurations,firmwareupdate,
devicereboot,anddeviceorganizations.
Tomodifythedevice’sdefaultIPaddressforcustomizednetworkarea;
1. FindthedevicefromtheIPAdminTool’slistandhighlightthedevice’sname.
2. Rightclickthemouseandselect“IPAddress”;IPSetupwindowappears.
3. In the IP Setup’s window, information under ‘Local Network information’ displays the
user/PC’snetworkareainformation.ThoseinformationneedtobeincorporatedtotheIP
Address,SubnetMask,Gateway,andDNSboxes,exceptthelast2setsofIPAddress,which
aretobetheuniquenumbersforthedevice.Refertotheimageaboveforthesetting

3. Followtheinstructionsofthedialogboxesandcompletetheinstallation.Oncethe
installationiscomplete,startthewebbrowseragainandcheckifvideostreamis
displayedinthemainviewframe.
4. DependsonMicrosoft®InternetExplorerversion,thewebbrowsermightneedtobe
refreshedorrestart.AccessesthewebaddressafterallActiveXareinstalled.
6.3. Wireless Access Setup
Toutilizethewirelessmode,thedeviceneedstobeconnectedtoawirednetworkinfirst
place.Throughsetupwebpage,connectionsettingsincludingaccessingproperwireless
network,password,andIPconfigurationsneedtobeprocessed.
1. Connectthedevicetoawirednetwork.
2. Accessthedevice’spageviaMicrosoft™InternetExplorer
3. EnterSetupfromthetopmenu(factorydefaultloginID/Passare“root/pass”)
4. Access“WirelessLan”menu,whichisundertheNetworkConfigurationsubmenu
5. Fromthe USBWirelessAP Listtab, selectthe wirelessnetworkwhere thedevicewillbe
locatedunder.Providethenetworkkey(password).
6. FromtheWirelessnetworkIPconfigurationtab,select“ObtainanIPaddressviaDHCP”or
“UsethefollowingIPaddress”.

A. Use “Obtain an IP address via DHCP” if users want network to provide automatic
address.
B. Use “Use the following IP address” and type specific addresses if users want the
devicetousespecificdesignatedaddress.
7. ClickApplybuttonandwaitforsystemtocorrespond.
8. Disconnectthewiredcablefromthecameraandwaitfor10~15seconds.
9. Identify the wireless device from the refreshed IPAdminTool or WindowsExplorer by
accessingthenetworkfolder.
IPAdminToolneedstobeopenedinasamenetworkwherewirelessdeviceis
operating.
6.4. Reset
1. Whilethedeviceison,presstheresetbuttonfor1~2seconds.
2. Waitforthesystemtoreboot.
6.5. Factory Default
1. Whilethedeviceison,pressresetbuttonandhold.
2. ReleasetheResetbuttonafterabout5secondswhengreenLEDblinks,whichislocatedin
thefrontpanel,atrateof200ms.
3. Waitforthesystemtoreboot.
