Wireless Wall Controller
1. WIRE FAN AND MODULE
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Disconnect power to the installation locations before installing the fan and controller.
WARNING: Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all
applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction. Incorrect assembly can cause electric shock
or damage the motor and the controller.
CAUTION: The Big Ass Fans product warranty will not cover equipment damage or failure that is caused by
improper installation or use.
CAUTION: Do not mount the wireless wall controller outdoors or in a location where it may come into contact
with water.

2. PAIR MODULE AND WALL CONTROLLER
1. Apply power to fan. Press and hold center
button on module for approximately six
seconds until LEDs flash. Release button.
2. Press and hold O button on wall
controller for approximately six seconds
until LED flashes. Release button. Pairing
is complete.
This procedure can be used to add multiple
wall controllers and/or modules to a group of
up to ten devices.

3. MOUNT WALL CONTROLLER AND ADJUST SETTINGS
Mount Wall Controller
Mount wall controller according to the mounting instructions packaged with the controller.
Adjust Low-End Trim
The fan requires a minimum of 1 V to turn on. To adjust the module’s low-end trim to at least 1 V:
1. Press wall controller O button.
2. Press and hold On button and Increase Speed button simultaneously for approximately six seconds until LED
flashes.
3. Slowly tap Increase Speed button nine times to set low-end trim to approximately 1.1 V.
4. Press and hold O button for approximately six seconds until LED flashes to save the setting.

The wall controller will not operate the fan(s). Release wire antenna from front of module and extend it away
from module to extend range of wall controller.
I need to reset the module to factory default
settings.
Quickly press center module button four times and hold button
on fourth press until LEDs flash. Release button. Within three
seconds, quickly press center module button four times and hold
button on fourth press until LEDs flash rapidly. The module is now
reset to factory default settings.
Set Preferred Speed Setting (Optional)
By default, pressing the center wall controller
button sets the fan speed to 50%. To program a
preferred speed setting:
1. Use speed adjustment buttons to select
desired fan speed.
2. Press and hold center button for
approximately six seconds until LED flashes
to save the setting.
Note: For systems with multiple wall controllers,
each controller can have a dierent preferred
speed setting.
