PREPARING YOUR ICE MAKER FOR USE
Your safety and the safety of others are very important.
We have provided important safety information in this manual. Always read
and obey all safety information.
This is the safety alert symbol:
All safety information will follow the safety alert symbol and the word
“DANGER” or “WARNING”.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be fol-
lowed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons or prop-
erty. Read all instructions before using any appliance.
These words mean:
If you do not follow the instructions strictly, you may endanger your life or
be seriously injured.
The safety information will inform you of the potential dangers associated
with the incorrect use of the product, how to minimize the possibility of injury,
and the possible consequences of not following the instructions.
Do not operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard. This ice-maker must be positioned so that the plug is accessi-
ble. Connect to properly polarized outlets only. No other appliance
should be plugged into the same outlet. Be sure that the plug is fully
inserted into the electrical outlet.
Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat insulators. Do
not cover the cord. Keep the cord away from traffic areas, and do not
submerge it in water.
We do not recommend the use of an extension cord, as it may over-
heat and become a risk of fire. If you must use an extension cord, use a
No. 14 AWG minimum size with a rating of no less than 1875 watts.

The wires attached to this machine are colored according to the fol-
lowing code:
[Green] or [Green with a yellow strip]: Grounding
[White]: Neutral
[Black]: Live
To avoid a hazard due to the instability of the appliance, the appli-
ance must be placed on an even or flat surface.
Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or making any repairs or servic-
ing.
Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when appliance is
used near children.
Do not use your ice-maker outdoors. Place the ice-maker away from
direct sunlight and make sure that there is at least 6 inches of space
between the back of your unit and wall. Keep a minimum distance of 6
inches on each side of your unit free.
Do not use other liquid to make the ice-cube other than water.
Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can
create a fire hazard or explosion.
Do not tip over.
If the ice maker is brought in from outside in wintertime, give it a few
hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.

Remove the exterior and interior packaging, and then check all the
accessories are included. If any parts are missing, please contact
our customer service.
Remove all the tapes on the unit; take out the accessory parts
inside.
Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Locating your ice maker on a level counter table far from direct
sunlight and other sources of heat (i.e.: stove, furnace, and radia-
tor). Make sure that there is at least 6 inches between the back and
sides of your ice maker with the wall.
Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle down before plug-
ging your ice maker in.
The power plug must be accessible directly.

This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power
cord of this appliance is equipped with a grounding plug which
mates with standard grounding wall outlets to minimize the possi-
bility of electric shock.
Plug your appliance into an exclusive, properly installed, grounding
wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances; damage the ground-
ing means of the plug. Any questions concerning power and/or
grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician.
This appliance requires a standard 110-120Volt, 60Hz electrical outlet
with good grounding means.
Before using your ice maker, it is strongly recommended to clean it
thoroughly.
Unplug the unit before cleaning or making any maintenance.
*Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical
shock. If the power cord is damaged, please call our customer
service.

Take out the ice basket.
Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft
cloth.
Then use the water to rinse the inside parts, and drain out the
water by unplugging the drain cap on front bottom side.
The outside of the ice maker should be cleaned regularly with a
mild detergent solution and warm water.
Dry the interior and exterior with a clean soft cloth.
When the machine is not to be used for a long time, drain water
completely & dry the interior.

USING YOUR ICE MAKER
Plug in the power cord, the screen is on: you can operate this appli-
ance by touching the button on panel as shown above, the main
function includes: ice/clean and timer.
Take out the ice basket, pour potable water into water reservoir,
0.58 gallon (2.2 liters) water at most at one time.
Put back the ice basket.
Plug in the power cord.

How to start the unit

Before clean procedure, please make sure the water drain cap
has been inserted into the appliance; otherwise it will not work
properly.
Press “ICE/CLEAN” button “ ” for 5 seconds, the screen displays
15M and the “CLEAN” symbol “ ”(as shown in the figure below), it
will run cleaning procedure for 15 minutes and automatically exit,
press this button again during the cleaning procedure, it will exit
immediately.
For the first time, or the clean procedure has not been running for a
long time, it is highly recommended to run this procedure at first.
Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure a rea-
sonable hygiene level. If the unit isn’t to be used, drain all water & dry
the water reservoir.

After cleaning procedure, remove the top cover and the ice
basket, rinse the main water reservoir and the secondary water
reservoir, then move the appliance to the edge of the desktop,
make sure that the appliance is placed steady, place a water
container under the appliance, remove drain cap from the
bottom, dirty water will drain into the water container, then rein-
sert the drain cap.

Before we start making ice, please make sure the water drain cap
has been inserted into the appliance; otherwise it will not work
properly.
Press “ICE/CLEAN” button “ ”, the screen displays “ICE” symbol
“ ” (as shown in the figure below) , it begin to work, Press this
button again, it will stop making ice.

For the first time, or if the appliance has not been used for a long
time, it is recommended to clean this appliance before you start
to make ice.
While the ice-maker is on, verify water level periodically. If water
pump can’t pump out water, the ice maker will stop automatical-
ly, and the “Add water” symbol “ ” will appear (as shown in the
figure below). Need to pour water into the water reservoir inside.

The ice maker automatically stops working when the ice-cube is
full inside and the “ice full” symbol “ ” appears(as shown in the
figure below).

How to obtain the ice-cube

Timer Delay Time Range: 0-24 hours
Press once to change: 1H
When the unit is running, you can set the unit with OFF-TIMER to let the
unit stop running after your set delay time.
And when the unit is on standby, you can set the unit with ON-TIMER to
let the unit start to run automatically after your set delay time, then
when you go back home or have a dinner, you can enjoy the happy
life that this ice-maker give to you.
Tips: The background light on the screen automatically goes out after
30 seconds without operation, if you want to keep the light on, press
the “TIMER” button “▲” for 5 seconds; And if you want to cancel the
constant light, press the “TIMER” button “▲” for 5 seconds again.
Press the “TIMER” button “▲” or “▼” to start setting timing, then
press the “▲” button to increase the time, and press the “▼”
button to decrease the time. Press the “TIMER” button in standby
mode, it will startup after the countdown (as shown in the figure
a); Press the “TIMER” button in Ice-making mode, it will shutdown
after the countdown (as shown in the figure b).

When the unit has been set with the timer, press the TIMER button,
then the delay time digit and “H” letter display will disappear,
mean the timer set has been canceled.

DISPOSAL AND WARRANTY INFORMATION
When the unit is not to be used again, disposal of this unit’s material
shall be in accordance with national regulations.
Disposal
The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legisla-
tion of the customer's own country of residence, with a minimum of 1
year, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end
user.
The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized
service technician. When making a claim under the warranty, the
original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-ap
proved accessories
- Use of force, damage caused by external influences
- Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual, e.g.
connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with
the installation instructions
- Partially or completely dismantled appliances
