VFL-40XX-MS-LI-ABZ
1. This LED Floodlight uses the latest in solid state lighting technology for
long life, low maintenance, and high efciency.
2. The same as traditional HID lighting. There are two installation
methods, suitable for various occasion.
3. An internal power-factor-corrected switch-mode supply allows it to be
used from any nominal 100V-277V, 60Hz AC supply without any variation
in light output.
4. Suitable for use in the following locations:
a. Ambient Temp: -20~+40°C (-4~+104°F)
a. Wet Locations
Note: Save these instructions for future reference.
To avoid the risk of re, explosion, or electric shock, this product should
be installed, inspected, and maintained by a qualied electrician only, in
accordance with all applicable electrical codes.
To avoid electric shock:
1. Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and
maintenance.
2. Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment
grounding conductor.
To avoid explosion:
1. Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire voltage.
2. Do not install where the marked operating temperatures exceed the
ignition temperature of the hazardous atmosphere.
3. Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the
luminaire nameplate.
For supply connections use wire rated for at least 90°C (194°F)
Warning: the luminaire shall be installed by qualied electrician.

Hold the yoke mount to your
desired mounting surface.
Place a mark on the wall using
the holes of the mount. These
marks will be used for the wall
anchors.

Drill the holes for the wall anchors
using the marks on the wall. Insert
the wall anchors into the drilled
holes. Tighten the hex nuts on the
bolts until they are secure to the
wall.

Remove the hex nuts and the
washers from the wall anchors.
Attach the yoke mount of the
xture to the wall anchors and
secure them in place with the
previously removed washers and
hex nuts. Tighten until snug.
Fixture
Allow enough wire from the xture for adjustment purposes.
Connect wires from the xture into the wiring terminal. The white
wire goes to the “Neutral” terminal; the black wire goes to the
“Live” terminal; and the green wire goes to the “Ground” terminal.

Adjust the xture to your desired
orientation and tighten set screws
with a wrench.
Adjust the IR sensor to proper
orientation.
After installation, but before power is on:
A. Check whether the lighting xture is rmly xed.
B. Check whether wires are connected properly.

This product can be installed outdoors. It is recommended to install in
these orientations to protect the ood light against heavy rain.

Last, turn on the power and check if the lighting xture works.

1. LUX: 0-2000 lux twilight sensor
sensivity adjustable.
a. When set at maximum
(towards the sun) the
motion sensor works even in
the day time.
b. When set at minimum
(towards the moon) the
motion sensor works only in
the dark.
2. TIME: From 7 sec to 15 min. adjustability
a. At the maximum setting, the xture is illuminated 15 minutes
after the sensor is triggered.
b. At the minimum setting, the xtured is illuminated 7 seconds
after the sensor is triggered.
3. SENS: If the sensor is too sensitive or not sensitive enough, it can be
adjusted here.

Remove Backing with IR Sensor
Rotate the bracket so that
the backing can easily be
removed from the xture.
Remove the backing with IR
sensor from the xture by
loosening the screws.
Use pliers to squeeze the
connectors and release
wires.

Remove/Replace IR Sensor
Unscrew the lock screw from
the knuckle and remove the
IR sensor from the back of
the xture.
Place the wires of the
replacement IR sensor inside
of the back by passing wires
through the knuckle. Then,
connect the replacement
sensor to the back by using
the previously removed lock
screw. Hand tighten until
snug.

Make Connections of IR Sensor Wires
Refer to the wire connections illustration, connect wires from the
driver, the IR sensor and the supply cable by using wire connectors (not
included). Squeeze connectors with pliers to engage crimp connectors.

Carefully tuck all the wires
inside of the back housing.
Place the backing with the
IR sensor back onto the
xture and secure with
previously removed screws.
Hand tighten until snug with
a screwdriver.
