INSTALLATION
USE
Remove all packaging before commencing installation.
Ensure the supply circuit has been turned off, locked and tagged BEFORE wiring the accessory.
Fit appropriate mounting hardware to the wall allowing for the minimum mounting depth as specified.
Terminate the Active, Neutral and Earth wire from the supply circuit into the appropriate terminals.
The product must be connected to a supply circuit protected by an appropriate isolating device.
The USB outlet is designed for charging batteries in rechargeable USB devices only. Any other application
can damage the USB supply unit or the attached equipment. The dual USB outlet must not be connected to
a total load greater than the rated load of max 4.2A.
Never insert anything except a USB cable plug in the USB outlet. In the event of a short-circuit condition,
the fuse inside the USB supply unit will blow and the supply unit will be rendered inoperative.
The USB outlet is not meant to provide power to operate electronic devices. Do not plug USB flash drives or
disk drives into the USB Outlet.
Electrical installations periodically receive transient over voltages. The USB outlet has been designed to
minimise the effect of such voltages on connected equipment. It may not give full protection for extreme
over voltage transients such as those resulting from a close lighting strike.
