Important!
Variants of the Rogue series scooters conform to the
Australian Personal Mobility Device (PMD) vehicle category
in some states of Australia.
Please check with your local state & territory's road rules before
riding in public.
To minimise risk, riders should wear safety equipment such as:
Full Face Motorcycle Helmet

Cycling Goggles
Cycling Gloves
Elbow pads
Knee Pads
Closed Footwear
The rider assumes ALL risks associated with operating this
scooter.
The recommended rider age is 14+

Assembly
Carefully remove the scooter from the
box
Unfold the scooter by pressing down
on the Folding lever with one hand
while gently pulling up on the steering
column with the other.
Fully Extend the Steering column to the
upright position, until you feel the
mechanism lock into place.
Affix handlebars, by sliding the assembly
onto the steering column. The correct
orientation is with the throttle on the
right hand side.
Ensure the alignment of the handlebar
assembly is true with the front wheels
of the scooter.
Tighten the bolts on the handlebar
assembly clamp.
It is recommended that you use high
quality workshop grade tools to
complete the assembly.
Insert Seat Post into the seat stem by
sliding the post downwards.
Place the seat onto the seat post.
Adjust the rake of the seat to the
desired level while the nuts on the
underside of the seat are loose.
Tighten the nuts of the seat on the left
and right hand side evenly to secure it's
position to the seat post.

Assembly
Place the scooter on charge until the
battery is topped up.
The battery should be approximately
half charged out of the box.
The charging process should take
between 2 - 4 hours
Affix Headlight to the steering column
at your desired height.
Split the circular clamp, position the
light assembly, recombine the circular
clamp and tighten the two Allen bolts
to secure the light.
Plug the headlight connector(s) into the
wiring harness of the scooter.

In extreme temperature conditions, the battery may not charge.
Avoid charging under direct sunlight
Let the scooter cool down for at least 10 minutes after riding before charging.
Ensure cooling fan on charger is operating at all times during charging.
Ensure charge port is dry before inserting charger.
Charging
The charging process takes
between 2 - 4 hours.
When the scooter's battery
meter is flashing on 0 bars,
recharge immediately
The charge port is located on the front right hand side of the battery box.
Insert the Round, three pronged connector into the charge port, then insert the
AC plug into a power socket. Switch power on to charge.
LED1 and LED2 will be red when scooter is charging.
LED2 will turn green and cooling fan will stop once scooter is fully charged.
Ensure the cap is closed when not charging to prevent water ingress.

Do not apply throttle when dismounted.
Starting up the scooter
Turn the ignition key clockwise by 1 "Click"
Press and hold on the Multi - Function Display (MFD)
Once the MFD is powered on, the scooter is ready to go

Ensure Chain drive system is properly lubricated, adjusted and clean.

The headlight(s) have 3 modes that
can be cycled through by switching
the light on and off:
Mode 1: High Beam - Full Brightness
Mode 2: Low Beam - Half Brightness
Mode 3: Strobe - Flashing
Rogue 1600
The headlight has a single operation
mode.

Press red horn button to activate1.
Ride Modes
Limits top speed of scooter to
25km/h (Can be adjusted in P-
settings)
Reduces performance of scooter
Eco Mode
Unrestricted performance.
High Mode
The ride modes are changed on the MFD by pressing the "M" Button

Brake Override with e-ABS
The Rogue series scooters are equipped with brake override switches that
completely disable any throttle inputs when either the front or rear brakes
are applied.
e-ABS stabilises the scooter under hard braking by utilising regeneration to
balance out the overall braking force when only one brake is applied.

Performance Settings (P-Settings)
The rider can adjust the performance characteristics of the scooter via the
MFD by entering the scooter's P-Settings programming mode.

P - Setting Functions
Only several programmes should be adjusted. Consult the list below:
P10 - Adjusts the limited speed in ECO MODE. (025 = 25Km/h Default)
P12 - Adjusts take off sensitivity (0 = Aggressive, 2 = Soft)
P13 - Adjusts throttle sensitivity at low speeds (0 = Aggressive, 24 = Soft)
P14 - Adjusts overall throttle sensitivity (0 = Soft, 5 = Aggressive)
P settings not listed on this manual are for workshop use only. Adjusting P
settings beyond the list can cause improper performance of the scooter.

Riding
Folding
The Rogue Series folds and the steering column locks into place for ease of carrying.
Remove the seat locking pin from the
socket in the seat stem.
Remove seat by lifting the seat post
upwards
1. Remove & Stow Seat
Pull the safety pin out of the socket
on the gooseneck
2. Remove Safety Pin
Pull firmly backwards.
Watch your head as the steering column
will begin to fold down.
3. Pull Folding Lever
Fully lower the steering column until it
locks into place in the folded position
Re insert the safety pin into the
gooseneck
Re insert the seat locking pin into the
seat stem.

Replace every 1500 - 2000km
Clean & Lubricate with Spray
degreaser and quality
motorcycle grade Chain lube
as needed.
Tighten chain at 100km and
then every 750km after (or as
required).

Tighten every 1500km

Clean and remove dirt
as necessary. DO NOT
hose the scooter down.

Do not carry out electronic repairs without guidance from Voltrium.
It is recommended that repairs and maintenance be carried out by a
professional, experienced technician
Use genuine parts for repairs and maintenance.

What is covered by this warranty?
Voltrium covers the Voltrium branded scooters, accessories against defects
arising from manufacturing and materials and when the products are using
in accordance with our guidelines. The cover begins from the date of the
original retail purchase by the end - user purchaser.

What is not covered by this warranty?
This warranty does not apply to:
(a) Consumable parts including but not limited to tyres, brake pads, chains
and sprockets that are diminish over time from operation, unless the failure
has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship
(b) Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents
unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
(c) Damage caused by use with a non genuine component or product.
(d) Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, natural
disasters or other external causes.
(e) Damage caused by operating the vehicle outside of specified guidelines.
(f) Damage caused by DIY (Do it Yourself) modifications or repairs.
(g) To a Voltrium product that has been modified to alter functionality or
capability without written permission of Voltrium
(h) To defects caused by normal wear & tear or otherwise due to normal
aging of the Voltrium product
(i) Products that have been obtained by theft or other illegal means or if
there is no method of proving ownership of the product.
