Important!
Variants of the Rogue series scooters conform to the
Australian Personal Mobility Device (PMD) vehicle category
in some states of Australia.
Please check with your local state & territory's road rules before
riding in public.
To minimise risk, riders should wear safety equipment such as:
Full Face Motorcycle Helmet
Full Face Bicycle Helmet
Cycling Goggles
Cycling Gloves
Elbow pads
Knee Pads
Closed Footwear
The rider assumes ALL risks associated with operating this
scooter.
The recommended rider age is 14+

Assembly
Carefully remove the scooter from the
box
Unfold the scooter by pressing down
on the Folding lever with one hand
while gently pulling up on the steering
column with the other.
Fully Extend the Steering column to the
upright position, until you feel the
mechanism lock into place.
Affix handlebars, by firstly, removing the
top cap of the handle bar clamp.
Once removed, place handlebars onto
the bottom cap.The correct orientation
is with the throttle on the right hand
side.
Ensure the alignment of the handlebar
assembly is true with the front wheels
of the scooter.
Tighten the bolts on the handlebar
assembly clamp.
It is recommended that you use high
quality workshop grade tools to
complete the assembly.
Fasten the Speedometer and bracket
assembly to the underside of the
handlebar clamp with the existing 2x
M6 bolts.

Assembly
Insert the seat stem by passing the
locking feet through the slits of the foot
board and then pushing the stem
forwards to lock it into the battery box.
Secure seat with the knob. Fasten until
handtight.
Place seat onto the seatpost, adjust the
rake and then tighten the two nuts on
the underside of the seat evenly.
Remove the bottom X bar from the
headstem area. Bolt the twin headlight
assembly to the now vacant 4 holes
with the original 4 bolts.
Attach the horn to the same headlight
bracket. Using the top right hand side
nut and bolt to affix the horn.
The rear nut of the horn can be
positioned in the cutout of the frame
for flush fitment as pictured.

2-4 Hrs
In extreme temperature conditions, the battery may not charge.
Avoid charging under direct sunlight
Let the scooter cool down for at least 10 minutes after riding before charging.
Ensure cooling fan on charger is operating at all times during charging.
Ensure charge port is dry before inserting charger.
Charging
The charging process takes
between 2 - 4 hours.
When the scooter's battery
meter is flashing on 0 bars,
recharge immediately
The charge port is located on the front right hand side of the battery box.
Insert the Round, three pronged connector into the charge port, then insert the
AC plug into a power socket. Switch power on to charge.
LED1 and LED2 will be red when scooter is charging.
LED2 will turn green and cooling fan will stop once scooter is fully charged.
Ensure the cap is closed when not charging to prevent water ingress.

Do not apply throttle when dismounted.
Starting up the scooter
Turn the ignition key clockwise by 1 "Click
Once the dashboard is switched on, the scooter is ready to go.

It is best practice to switch the scooter off when parked and not in use.

Pre - Ride Checks
Check Tyre Pressures (50PSI - On Road Tyres, 40PSI - Off Road Tures)
Ensure all bolts and screws are tight
Ensure Chain drive system is properly lubricated, adjusted and clean.

Headlights
Flip the headlight switch on the left cluster to turn on1.
The headlight(s) have 3 modes that can be cycled through by switching the light on and
off:
Mode 1: High Beam - Full Brightness
Mode 2: Low Beam - Half Brightness
Mode 3: Strobe - Flashing
Horn
Press horn button on the left cluster to activate1.
Ride Modes
Limits top speed of scooter to
25km/h (Can be adjusted in P-
settings)
Reduces performance of scooter
Eco Mode
Unrestricted performance.
High Mode
The ride modes are changed by pressing the Red button under the throttle

Brake Override with e-ABS
The Pro series scooters are equipped with brake override switches that
completely disable any throttle inputs when either the front or rear brakes
are applied.
e-ABS stabilises the scooter under hard braking by utilising regeneration to
balance out the overall braking force when only one brake is applied.

Performance Settings (P-Settings)
The rider can adjust the performance characteristics of the scooter via a web
based application hosted on the Wechat platform
1. Download Wechat
Visit Google Play Store on Android devices and
App store in iOS devices and search for an app
titled "Wechat". Download & Install
2. Register an account
Create an account on Wechat with your mobile
number or Facebook account.
3. Log in to Wechat
Enter your account details and log into Wechat

4. Open the QR scanner on the Wechat App
On the top right hand corner of the application,
tap the plus icon, then tap scan.
5. Scan QR Code and install Web App to Wechat
Scan the QR code to the right with the QR

6. Tap on "Discover" tab on Wechat
After successfully installing the P-settings app, you
can access it under the "discover" tab on the
Wechat landing page. Navigate to the "mini
programs" section

7. Tap on the YuyangKing Drive App
It is the application with the blue logo as pictured
to the right hand side.

8. Select English for language and Bluetooth for
connectivity
Tap on your selections
9. Tap on "Start Discovery"
The app will begin to search for the Pro+ to pair
with. Ensure the scooter is switched on and you
are standing in close vicinity of the Pro+.

10. Tap on Yuyangking K1A to pair with the
controller on the Pro+
Allow briefly for the app to pair with the Pro+'s
controller.

11. Tap on "Operation" and then "General
Settings:
This will give access to the P-settings menu
12. Adjust P-Settings
You can now adjust the P-settings of the scooter
according to the guide on the next page

Riding
Only several programmes should be adjusted. Consult the list below:
Fast Start & Soft Start
Only enable either one or the other. Soft Start is smoother than Fast Start overall.
Fast Start - Adjusts sensitivity of initial takeoff - 1 = Smoothest 10 = Aggressive
Soft Start - Adjusts sensitivity of initial takeoff - 1 = Smoothest 10 = Aggressive
Cruise Control
Auto Cruise control is not recommended unless the rider is experienced with the feature and assumes
all risks with using it. Auto Cruise enables when a scooter holds a constant speed for a designated time
period. The rider can release the throttle and the scooter will maintain the same speed.
Manual Cruise - Enables the switch gear controlled cruise control - ON or OFF
Auto Cruise - Enables automatic cruise control - ON or OFF
EBS Brake
It is recommended to set EBS setting to max (10) for improved braking performance and less wear and
tear on the friction braking system
EBS Brake - Adjusts level or regenerative braking - 1 = Lowest, 10 = Highest
Current Limits
Do Not set to above 90% in Hot Climates for more than 15 minutes of full throttle high load &
aggressive riding to avoid overheating of the motor.
Do not set to above 80% for towing. Failing to do so may cause the motor to overheat.
Battery Current Limit - Governs power of scooter
Phase Current Limit - Governs power of scooter
Adjust Accelerator Curve
Adjust Accelerator Curve - Enables smooth takeoffs while retaining aggressive rolling acceleration
Adjusting P-Settings on the Companion App

P settings not listed on this manual are for workshop use only. Adjusting P
settings beyond the list can cause improper performance of the scooter.

BOOST
BOOST - Maintains peak phase current for longer periods of time for improved acceleration.
Default Settings
Fast Start - OFF
Soft Start - ON - Level 3
Manual Cruise - ON
Auto Cruise - OFF
EBS Brake - ON - Level 10
Battery Current Limit - 90%
Phase Current Limit - 90%
Adjust Accelerator Curve - ON
BOOST - OFF

Riding
Fault Finding using the Companion App
Besides adjusting the P-settings of the Pro+, the companion app can be used to
diagnose any issues and assist with troubleshooting should there be any faults.

Towing
When towing, adjust P-settings of the scooter as described in the section above.
Lower Battery & Phase current to 80% to prevent overheating of Motor.
Switching between Sit Down & Stand up Mode
The Pro+ is designed to be ridden either seated or standing up without compromise.
To switch from seated to standing configuration follow the process below.
Unscrew the knob on the rear of the seat
stem
Release the seat from the scooter by
lifting the seat and post rearwards and
upwards of the scooter.
Stow seat away in storage
1. Remove & Stow Seat
Use an 8mm Allen Key to loosen
the two M8 Bolts on the side of the
Telescopic Mechanism Clamp.
2. Loosen Telescopic Mechanism
Clamp
Lift the steering column upwards.
There is a mechanical limiter.
3. Raise the handlebars to the desired
height.
Use an 8mm Allen Key to tighten the
two M8 Bolts on the side of the
Telescopic Mechanism Clamp.
The cabling may need slight
rearrangement

Riding
Folding
The Pro+ folds and the steering column locks into place for ease of carrying.
Unscrew the knob on the rear of the seat
stem
Release the seat from the scooter by
lifting the seat and post rearwards and
upwards of the scooter.
Stow seat away in storage
1. Remove & Stow Seat
Pull the safety pin out of the socket
on the gooseneck
2. Remove Safety Pin
Pull firmly backwards.
Watch your head as the steering column
will begin to fold down.
3. Pull Folding Lever
Fully lower the steering column until it
locks into place in the folded position
Re insert the safety pin into the
gooseneck
4. Lower Steering Column
