SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Be aware that expandable foods such as apple sauce,
cranberries, pearl barley and oatmeal can foam, froth, sputter
and even clog the pressure release device.
Substances such as baking soda, too much vegetable oil and
alcohol can not be cooked in the Pressure cooker.
After cooking meat with a skin (e.g. ox tongue) which may swell
under the effect of pressure, do not prick the meat while the
skin is swollen; this may cause scalding injuries.
When cooking doughy foods, gently shake the cooker before
opening the lid to avoid food ejection.
The pressure cooker should only be used on a heat source in a
stable position.
Flames must not exceed the pressure cooker walls. Use a small
flame that is central to the base of the pressure cooker.
Always follow the Maximum and Minimum quantities of liquid
stated in these instructions and marked in the pressure cooker.
Always allow the Pressure Cooker to cool completely before
cleaning.
When the Pressure Cooker is under pressure, caution must be
taken of the steam ejected from the valves and vents. Do not
touch safety devices.
Do not open the pressure cooker until it has cooled and all
internal pressure has been released. If the handles are difficult
to part, this indicates that the cooker is still pressurized - do not
force it open. Any pressure in the cooker can be hazardous.
Strictly follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions.
Always check the safety devices are not obstructed before use.
Do not point the pressure release cavity at people.
Do not tamper with any other safety systems beyond the
maintenance instructions specified in the instructions for use.
If the pressure cooker is damaged or shows signs of being
faulty, stop using immediately.
Do not attempt any maintenance yourself.
Do not cover the regulator with heavy objects.
When cooking foods that expand such as rice or dried
vegetables, do not fill the pressure cooker over ½ full to
accommodate expenditure.
Use oven gloves when handling the pressure cooker to reduce
the risk of scalding.
Never slide the Pressure cooker across the hob surface as this
will scratch both the pressure cooker base and hob surface.
Always lift it up and place down gently.
Always ensure the base of the pressure cooker is dry and
thoroughly clean before placing on hob.
Do not use the pressure cooker to store sugar, alkali, salt,
vinegar, steam water etc. Clean and dry cooker after use.
Take care when opening the lid after cooking as hot steam may
escape and cause burns.
This cookware contains no parts which can be modified or
repaired due to risk of injury.
Do not lubricate any parts or carry out any maintenance or
repair work other than that shown in this manual, or as advised
by the DOMU Brands Customer Care Helpline.
Use only as described in this manual and do not exceed
maximum capacity. Use only DOMU Brands recommended
attachments.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using this product for the first time, please ensure you complete the following
steps:
• Remove all packaging, stickers and labels from
the product, store or dispose of safely.
• Wash your cookware in warm, soapy water. Dry
thoroughly before use, using a soft cloth or
paper towel.
• Always dry the base of your cookware before
cooking, especially if you use it on a ceramic,
halogen or induction hob, otherwise the pan
may stick to the hob.
• Depending on your hob type, the base of your
pan may become marked or scratched. This is
normal.

SAFETY ADVICE
• Do not subject the lids to knocks, vibrations or quick temperature changes.
• Take care when removing lids from cookware as they will become hot and pressurized
during use. Use of a heat resistant oven glove is recommended.
• Over time, handles on your cookware may loosen. This is normal. Handles will need
tightening periodically. To tighten, use an appropriate screwdriver (not supplied) and
secure the screw.
• Do not overtighten as this will damage the cookware.
• Never apply excess twisting force to the handle. Do not overload the cookware or
attempt to bend or modify the handle in any way.
• NEVER allow the handles to be positioned over another hob or heat source.
• Always match the diameter of the stainless steel disc in the base of the pan to the
induction hob cooking zone.
• DO NOT use the boost function for longer than is required to bring the pan’s contents
to a boil. The boost function should only be used for rapid heating of large quantities of
water e.g. for boiling pasta or vegetables.
• During cooking, you may notice some slight noise being generated in the pan by the
induction hob. This will not damage the pan or affect cooking performance.

OPERATION
IMPORTANT: Whichever the size of your Pressure Cooker, never exceed the following levels:
CAUTION: Check the REGULATOR vent pipe
before use.
• If the REGULATOR pipe is blocked, turn
clockwise until the triangle indicator points to
the unload/cleaning position ( ). Also check the
rubber seal around the rim of the LID is in place
and not damaged in any way.
• Remove the REGULATOR from the UPPER
HANDLE and thoroughly clean. Replace the
REGULATOR back into the UPPER HANDLE by
aligning the indicator to the unloading/cleaning
position ( ), turn anticlockwise to lock securely
into position.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the REGULATOR is
securely in position before use.
• Place your ingredients and liquid (water or
stock) into the POT before placing the LID on
top. To lock the LID, hold the LOWER HANDLE
tightly and align the triangle marker on the LID
( ) with the marker on the LOWER HANDLE
( ). Turn the UPPER HANDLE clockwise to lock
tightly.
IMPORTANT: Ensure you do not overfill the
POT with ingredients as they will expand under
pressure. Refer to the guide above.
• To set the working pressure for your chosen
food, turn the REGULATOR to position I or II.
• In order to raise the temperature rapidly, set the
cooker on a high heat. Ensure the flames do not
exceed the base of the Pressure Cooker. After a
short time heating a small amount of steam will
escape from the SAFETY VALVE (this is perfectly
normal).
WARNING! Take extra caution around escaping
steam. Contact with steam will result in a
scalding injury.
• When the pressure inside reaches a certain level,
the steam escaping will automatically stop.

OPERATION
• When the SAFETY VALVE is pushed UP and continued steam is still escaping from the REGULATOR, the
high heat should then be reduced to a medium heat.
WARNING! Do not touch any surfaces of the Pressure Cooker. Always use the HANDLES in accordance
with instructions. The use of oven gloves is highly recommended when handling the appliance.
• Once cooked, turn off the stove/hob and remove the Pressure Cooker. Place on a heat-proof mat or
surface to cool for several minutes.
NOTE: Force cooling may sometimes be required when over cooking has occurred or when the LID has
to be opened during the cooking time. To cool the Pressure Cooker, place it in a sink and flush with cold
running water. Ensure NO water enters the SAFETY VALVE when doing so. Turning the REGULATOR to
the position can also release the pressure and cool the appliance quicker.
• The SAFETY VALVE will drop down to indicate the Pressure Cooker has slightly cooled. You can now
remove the LID by turning anti clockwise.
WARNING! Take extra care when opening the LID after cooking as steam is still present and can cause
scalding injuries.
• To remove the food, we recommend you use wooden or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the stainless
steel surface.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Do not attempt to move or carry the Pressure Cooker whilst it is still hot.
• The exterior of the appliance should be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents.
• The POT should be left to soak in warm, soapy water and gently scrubbed using a soft sponge.
CAUTION: DO NOT use any metal, harsh abrasive or very stiff pads/washing up brushes, or abrasive
cleaning agents on ANY of the surfaces.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the LID in water. Only clean the LID with a slightly damp cloth to remove
any food residue.
• If the REGULATOR becomes blocked due to food residue, dismantle for the UPPER LID by turning it to
the unload/cleaning position ( ). Clean with warm, soapy water and dry completely before reattaching to
the UPPER LID.
• Stubborn stains can be removed using a suitable non-metallic scouring pad.
• Salt spots, tarnishing and stains can be removed using mild detergents specially formulated for cleaning
stainless steel cookware and similar items. Wash your cookware thoroughly after use of such products.
• Dry the product thoroughly using paper towel or a soft cloth.
• It is recommended that you place a paper towel between cookware if stacking to prevent damage to the
surfaces
CAUTION: Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance, allow the appliance
to completely cool.
