Description
VI-6777 Digital Isolate Interface monitors the short circuit fault at the loop detection zone ,It has both side isolate
function ,if detects the short circuit on loop it will isolate that side to ensure loop communication signal will not be
affected or interrupt by short-circuit fault. When the short circuit fault is removed, the isolate interface will
automatically restore loop.

Isolate Indication: Active A or Active B LED illuminates steadily.

Note:The VI-6777 Isolate interface is working with VSAIL Digital Protocol

 Mounting:
Warning: Please disconnect the loop power in order to avoid control panel broken by short circuit when
mounting Base.
1.Make sure the mounting direction mark “↑” on Base is upwards .
2.Install the base stable by using two screws,and connect all cables in accordance with wiring details.
3.Install the Isolate interface body on to base directly.

Terminal Connection
1. 1,3:connecting with Detection loop L+;L-(Input),
A side isolate.
2. 8,10:connecting with Detection loop L+;L-
(Output),B side isolate.
3.Loop wiring is shown in Fig.3
Warning
 Maxmium 32 devices connect with one side of Isolate
Interface.
 Please make sure 1,10 connect with L+;3,8 connect
With L-.It recommends using different colors to distinguish
the line.Otherwise it will cause the loop wiring error.

 If short circuit at “Zone 1”,
“ Active B” LED of Isolate
Interface A and “ Active A”
LED of Isolate Interface B
will emitting ,“Detection
Zone 1” will be isolated.
 If “Zone 3 ” had short circuit
fault,the Isolate interface C
will start to isolate, “Active
B”of Isolate Interface C will
emitting. And A side of
Isolate Interface D also start
to isolate.
Testing
Warning:Power is switched on after all devices are installed completely.
 Isolate test: The LED indicator “Active A” or “Active B” will emitting when apply the short circuit to
corresponding side of isolate Interface.
 Reset:Remove the short circuit fault,the the isolate interface will go back to normal.

Cautions
1. Dust cover on Isolate Interface shouldn’t be removed between installation and acceptance test to avoid
damage.
2. Fire alarm test requirement as specified in applicable codes,We suggest to test every 12 month.
