Thank you for purchasing the VTech®Musical Dreams Light
Projector™.
The VTech®Musical Dreams Light Projector™ is an advanced crib
light that projects moving images onto the ceiling while playing nature
sounds, soothing melodies and sung songs.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back
of the main unit. Use a screwdriver to
loosen the screw.
3. Install 4 new ‘AA’ (AM-3/LR6) batteries
into the main unit following the diagram
inside the battery box.
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure.

• Removeexhaustedbatteriesfromthetoy.
• Removebatteriesduringlongperiodsofnon-use.
• Donotdisposeofbatteriesinfire.
• Donotchargenon-rechargeablebatteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Adult assembly required. For your child’s safety, do not let
your child play with the toy until it is fully assembled.
1. Place the unit in the crib bringing both
straps over the top rail. Slip the top of the
strap under the slot on the back of the unit
and secure. Repeat this procedure for the
second strap. You can adjust the hanging
height by choosing the appropriate hole
on the top of each strap.
2. Fasten the cord on the back of the unit
to the crib rail.
3. Pull slightly on the unit to make
sure both straps have been securely
fastened. The unit should be snug
against the crib rail. Please check the unit
frequently to ensure it is still secure.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR
SWITCH
Slide the on/off/mode selector switch
to select either the Nature, Soothing or
Melody mode.
2. TIMER SWITCH
Slide the timer switch to select the
length of time the unit will play for. When
the time is up the unit will automatically
power-down. Time options include
5mins/10mins/15mins.
3. LIGHT AND MOTOR CONTROL
BUTTON
Press the light and motor control button
to select one of four light and motor
combinations.
4. VOLUME CONTROL DIAL
Turn the volume control dial to select the
desired volume.
5. PENGUIN BUTTON
In each mode, press the penguin button
to play the next nature sound, melody or
song depending on the selected mode.

6. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®Musical Dreams Light
Projector™ will automatically power-down after the time selected.
The unit can be reactivated by pressing any button or when baby
cries.
7. SOUND SENSOR
The VTech®Musical Dreams Light Projector™ is equipped with
a special sound sensor. Once the selected time setting has ended,
the unit will automatically power-down. The sensor will reactivate
the program when it detects baby’s cry for approximately 4 seconds
without interruption. The unit will reactivate and play lullabies or
nature sounds, depending on the selected mode.
ACTIVITIES
To turn the unit on, slide the on/off/mode
selector switch. You will hear a comforting
phrase then either nature sounds, soothing
melodies or songs depending on the selected
mode. The projector and lights will light up with
the sounds while the bear rocks back and forth.

3. Lettheunitstandforafewminutes,thenreplacethebatteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
