2. explanatIon of modes
2.1 Sound
The device beeps with a click of the sound button. The pen
continues beeping for an extended period if you keep the sound
button pressed. (It switches o automatically after 9 seconds)
2.2 Normal ultrasonic sound
The device transmits an ultrasonic sound and beeps if you keep
the ultrasonic button pressed. Do not keep the button pressed for
longer than 8 seconds after pressing the ultrasonic button.
(It switches o automatically after 9 seconds – range of 5 metres)
2.3 Torch
The torch will switch on if you press the button and will only switch o
if you press the button again. The torch can be easily operated at all
times and is perfect for use in the dark.
2.4 Strong ultrasonic sound + ashing light
The button at the top activates the ultrasonic sound and ashing
light. As long as you keep the button pressed the ultrasonic
sound will be transmitted and the torch will keep ashing. Here
we also recommend to not keep the button pressed for longer
than 8 seconds after pressing the torch button. (It switches o
automatically after 9 seconds – range of 10 metres).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
2.5 The average frequency range of human hearing is 20Hz to
20kHz. The ultrasonic sound is 25kHz and is thus virtually inaudible
to humans. However, dogs do pick up on this sound.
2.6 If the light at the top is green, this means that the pressed
function is working as it should. If the light at the top is red, you need
to charge the device.
2.7 The beep you hear lets your pet respond. If you keep the button
pressed, the ultrasonic sound will be transmitted. Please note:
Humans hardly hear this sound, if at all.
