Getting Started
Before using this timer, open the battery compartment and remove the battery tab.
Operation
Setting the Clock:
1. Insert battery in battery compartment located on the back side of unit
2. To set clock, slide the CLOCK/TIMER switch to CLOCK.
3. Select 12 hour or 24-hour format
4. Slide SET/LOCK switch located on the back of unit to SET. Press HR, MIN, and SEC keys until
desired time is reached. Slide SET/LOCK switch to LOCK position.
Counting up
1. Place the unit in the clock mode by sliding the CLOCK/TIMER switch to CLOCK.
2. Press the START/STOP key once to begin counting up. Press the START/STOP key a second
time to pause the count (time-out). Press the START/STOP key again to resume counting. Any
number of time-outs may be taken. Press CLEAR while the count is paused to reset the unit to
00:00:00.

3. The count-up is shown on the lower portion of the display. When 19:59:59 is reached, the timer
will return to 00:00:00 and begin counting up again.
Counting Down
1. Place the unit in the timer mode by sliding the CLOCK/TIMER switch to TIMER. Slide the switch
to T1 to set channel 1 and to T2 to set channel 2. Slide SET/LOCK switch located on the back of
unit to SET.
2. Press HR, MIN, and SEC keys until desired time is reached. Press MEMORY key once.
“MEMORY” will appear on the display. Slide SET/LOCK switch to LOCK. Recall stored time
period, press MEMORY key.
3. Press the START/STOP key once to start timing. Press the START/STOP key a second time to
pause the timing (time-out). Press the START/STOP key again to resume timing. Any number of
time-outs may be taken. Press CLEAR while the timing is paused to reset the unit to 00:00:00.
4. The upper portion of the display will show channel one. The lower portion of the display will show
channel two. To display both channels simultaneously, slide the CLOCK/TIMER switch to the
TIMER 1 & 2 position.
5. When 00:00:00 is reached, the timer will alarm and begin counting up. “TIME’S UP” will flash in
the upper left portion of the display for the appropriate channel. To silence the alarm and stop the
count-up, press the START/STOP key.
Low Battery
Erratic readings, a faint display, or no display are all indicators that the battery is low and needs to be
replaced. To replace the battery, remove the battery cover located on the back of the unit and insert a
new AAA battery. Incorrectly installed batteries may damage electronics. Replace the Battery Cover.
All Operational Difficulties
If this timer does not function properly for any reason, please properly replace the battery with a new
1.5V AAA alkaline battery (see Low Battery section). Low battery power can occasionally cause any
number of “apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve
most difficulties.
Equipment disposal
This equipment is marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to indicate that this equipment
must not be disposed of with unsorted waste. Instead it's your responsibility to correctly dispose of
your equipment at lifecycle -end by handling it over to an authorized facility for separate collection
and recycling. It's also your responsibility to decontaminate the equipment in case of biological,
chemical and/or radiological contamination, so as to protect from health hazards the persons involved
in the disposal and recycling of the equipment. For more information about where you can drop off

VWR warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
two (2) years from date of delivery. If a defect is present, VWR will, at its option and cost, repair,
replace, or refund the purchase price of this product to the customer, provided it is returned during the
warranty period. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse,
misuse, or misapplication, or from ordinary wear and tear. If the required maintenance and inspection
services are not performed according to the manuals and any local regulations, such warranty turns
invalid, except to the extent, the defect of the product is not due to such non performance.
Items being returned must be insured by the customer against possible damage or loss. This
warranty shall be limited to the aforementioned remedies. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS

Primeros pasos
Antes de utilizar este cronometro, abra el compartimento de la pila y remueva el lengüeta de la pila.
Funcionamiento
Ajustar el reloj:

Cuenta regresiva
1. Ponga el dispositivo en el modo “timer” deslizando el interruptor CLOCK/TIMER hacia la posición

hacia la posición LOCK. Consulte de nuevo las lecturas registradas, pulse la tecla MEMORY.
3. Pulse la tecla START/STOP una vez para empezar la medición del tiempo. Pulse la tecla
START/STOP una vez más para detener el cronometro (time-out). Pulse la tecla START/STOP
una vez más para reanudar el cronometro. Se puede detener el cronometro tantas veces como
sea deseado . Pulse CLEAR cuando el cronometro está detenido para reiniciar el dispositivo en
la posición 00:00:00.
4. Se visualizará en la parte superior de la pantalla el canal 1. Se visualizará en la parte inferior
de la pantalla el canal 2. Para visualizar simultáneamente los dos canales, deslice el interruptor
CLOCK/TIMER hacia la posición TIMER 1 & 2
5. Cuando se alcanza la posición 00:00:00, la alarma del cronometro sonará y el cronometro
empezará la cuenta progresiva. “TIME’S UP” destellará en la parte superior izquierda de la
pantalla en el canal adecuado. Para apagar la alarma y dejar la cuenta progresiva, pulse la tecla
START/STOP.
Resolución de problemas
Pila baja
Lecturas erráticas, visualización débil o ausente, todos indican que la pila está baja y tiene que ser
reemplazada. Para reemplazar la pila, retire la tapa del compartimento de la pila en la parte trasera
de la unidad y coloque una nueva pila de tipo AAA alcalina. Pilas colocadas de manera inadecuada
pueden dañar los dispositivos electrónicos. Coloque de nuevo la tapa.
Otras dificultades de funcionamiento
Si el cronometro no funciona adecuadamente, por cualquier motivo, por favor, reemplace la pila con
otra nueva de 1,5V AAA alcalina (referirse a la sección Pila baja). Una situación de pila baja puede a
veces ocasionar algunas dificultades “aparentes” de funcionamiento. Reemplazar la pila baja con
nueva pila llena puede resolver la mayoría de las dificultades.

Commencer
Avant d’utiliser le minuteur, ouvrir le compartiment de la pile et enlever la languette.
Fonctionnement
Régler l’horloge :
1. Insérer la pile dans le compartiment situé au dos de l’appareil
2. Pour régler l’horloge, faire glisser le poussoir HORLOGE/MINUTERIE vers HORLOGE.
3. Choisir le format 12 heures ou 24 heures
4. Faire glisser l’interrupteur REGLER/VERROUILLER situé à l’arrière de l’appareil sur REGLER.
Appuyer sur HR, MIN, et SEC jusqu’à ce que l’heure souhaitée s’affiche. Faire glisser
l’interrupteur sur la position VERROUILLER.
Compte
1. Mettre l’appareil en mode horloge en faisant glisser l’interrupteur HORLOGE/MINUTERIE sur
HORLOGE.
2. Appuyer sur START/STOP une fois pour commencer le compte. Appuyer sur START/STOP une
deuxième fois pour arrêter le compte (temps écoulé). Appuyer à nouveau sur START/STOP pour
reprendre le compte. Il peut y avoir autant de temps écoulés que voulus. Appuyer sur EFFACER
quand le compte est arrêté pour remettre l’appareil sur 00:00:00.
3. Le compte apparaît en bas de l’écran. Lorsque 19:59:59 est attaint, le minuteur revient à 00:00:00
et reprend le compte.
Décompte
1. Mettre l’appareil en mode Minuteur en faisant glisser l’interrupteur HORLOGE/MINUTERIE sur
MINUTEUR. Faire glisser l’interrupteur sur T1 pour avoir la piste 1 et sur T2 pour avoir la piste 2.
Faire glisser l’interrupteur REGLER/VERROUILLER situé à l’arrière de l’appareil sur REGLER.

2. Appuyer sur HR, MIN, et SEC jusqu’à ce que l’heure souhaitée s’affiche. Appuyer sur
MEMOIRE une fois. “MEMOIRE” s’affichera sur l’écran. Faire glisser l’interrupteur sur la position
VERROUILLER. Pour faire apparaître la durée stockée, appuyer sur MEMOIRE.
3. Appuyer sur START/STOP une fois pour démarrer la minuterie. Appuyer sur START/STOP une
deuxième fois pour arrêter la minuterie (temps écoulé). Appuyer sur START/STOP à nouveau
pour reprendre la minuterie. Il peut y avoir autant de temps écoulés que voulus. Appuyer sur
EFFACER quand le compte est arrêté pour remettre l’appareil sur 00:00:00.
4. La partie supérieure de l’écran affichera la piste un. La partie inférieure de l ‘écran affichera la
piste deux. Pour afficher les deux pistes en même temps, faire glisser l’interrupteur
HORLOGE/MINUTERIE sur les positions 1 & 2 de la MINUTERIE.
5. Lorsque 00:00:00 est atteint, l’alarme de la minuterie sonnera et commencera le compte.
«TEMPS ECOULE » clignotera sur la partie supérieure gauche de l’écran pour la piste adéquate.
Pour arrêter l’alarme et le compte, appuyer sur START/STOP.
Résoudre les problèmes
Pile faible
De erreurs d’affichage, un affichage faible ou une absence d’affichage sont tous des indicateurs que
la pile est usée et doit être remplacée. Pour remplacer la pile, ôter le couvercle du compartiment pile
à l’arrière de l’appareil et insérer une nouvelle pile AAA. Des piles mal installées peuvent
endommager l’électronique. Remettre le couvercle du compartiment.
Tous problèmes de fonctionnement
Si ce minuteur ne fonctionne pas correctement, quelle qu’en soit la raison, veuillez remplacer la pile
par une nouvelle pile alcaline AAA de 1,5V (cf. partie Pile usée). Une pile usée peut causer un certain
nombre de problèmes de fonctionnement apparents. Remplacer la pile par une nouvelle pile résoudra
la plupart des problèmes.

Inbetriebnahme
Öffnen Sie vor der Verwendung dieses Zeitmessers das Batteriefach und entfernen Sie das Batterie-
Etikett.
Bedienung
Einstellen der Uhr:
1. Legen Sie die Batterie in das auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befindliche Batteriefach ein.
2. Zum Einstellen der Uhr schieben Sie den CLOCK/TIMER-Schalter auf CLOCK.
3. Wählen Sie das 12-Stunden- oder das 24-Stunden-Format.
4. Schieben Sie den auf der Geräterückseite befindlichen SET/LOCK-Schalter auf SET. Drücken Sie
die HR,MIN und S-Tasten, bis die gewünschte Zeit erreicht ist. Schieben Sie den SET/LOCK-
Schalter auf die LOCK-Position.
Aufwärtszählung (Countup)
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät in den Uhrmodus, indem Sie den CLOCK/TIMER-Schalter auf CLOCK
schieben.
2. Drücken Sie die START/STOP-Taste einmal, um mit dem Hochzählen zu beginnen. Drücken Sie
die START/STOP-Taste ein zweites Mal, um das Zählen anzuhalten (Timeout). Drücken Sie die
START/STOPP-Taste erneut, um das Zählen fortsetzen. Eine beliebige Anzahl von Timeouts kann
genommen werden. Drücken Sie CLEAR, während das Zählen unterbrochen wurde, um das
Gerät auf 00:00:00 zurückzusetzen.
3. Das Hochzählen wird auf dem unteren Teil des Displays angezeigt. Wenn 19:59:59 erreicht ist,
wird der Timer auf 00:00:00 zurückkehren und erneut mit dem Hochzählen beginnen.

Rückwärtszählung (Countdown)
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät in den Zeitmess-Modus, indem Sie den CLOCK/TIMER-Schalter auf TIMER
schieben. Schieben Sie den Schalter auf T1, um Kanal 1 und auf T2, um Kanal 2 einzustellen.
Schieben Sie den auf der Geräterückseite befindlichen SET/LOCK-Schalter auf SET.
2. Drücken Sie die HR, MIN, und SEC-Tasten bis die gewüschte Zeit erreicht ist. Drücken Sie die
MEMORY-Taste einmal. “MEMORY” wird auf dem Display erscheinen. Schieben Sie die
SET/LOCK-Taste auf LOCK. Rufen Sie den gespeicherten Zeitraum auf, drücken Sie die
MEMORY-Taste.
3. Drücken Sie die START/STOP-Taste einmal, um mit der Zeitmessung zu beginnen. Drücken Sie
die START/STOP-Taste ein zweites Mal um die Zeitmessung anzuhalten (Timeout). Drücken Sie
die START/STOP -Taste erneut, um die Zeitmessung fortzusetzen. Eine beliebige Anzahl von
Timeouts kann genommen werden. Drücken Sie CLEAR während die Zeitmessung angehalten
wurde, um das Gerät auf 00:00:00 zurückzusetzen.
4. Der obere Bereich des Displays wird Kanal eins anzeigen. Der untere Bereich des Displays wird
Kanal 2 anzeigen. Um beide Kanäle gleichzeitig anzuzeigen, schieben Sie den CLOCK/TIMER-
Schalter auf die TIMER 1 & 2 Position.
5. Sobald 00:00:00 erreicht ist, wird der Zeitmesser alarmieren und mit der Aufwärtszählung
beginnen. “TIME’S UP” wird im linken oberen Bereich des Displays für den entsprechenden Kanal
blinken. Um den Wecker stummzuschalten und die Aufwärtszählung anzuhalten, drücken die
START/STOP-Taste.
Fehlerbehebung
Geringe Batterieleistung
Fehlerhafte Anzeigen, ein schwaches Display oder keine Anzeige sind alles Hinweise darauf, dass die
Batterie schwach ist und ersetzt werden muss. Um die Batterie zu ersetzen, entfernen Sie die
Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des Gerätes, und legen Sie eine neue AAA-Batterie ein.
Falsch eingelegte Batterien können die Elektronik beschädigen. Setzen Sie die
Batteriefachabdeckung wieder ein.
Allgemeine Bedienungsschwierigkeiten
Falls dieser Zeitmesser aus irgendeinem Grund nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, ersetzen Sie bitte die
Batterie richtig mit einer neuen 1,5 V AAA Akaline Batterie (siehe Abschnitt Geringe Batterieleistung)
Eine geringe Batterieleistung kann gelegentlich eine beliebige Anzahl von "scheinbaren"
Bedienungsschwierigkeiten verursachen. Das Ersetzen der Batterie durch eine neue frische Batterie
wird die meisten Schwierigkeiten beheben.

Inizio
Prima di utilizzare questo timer, aprire il compartimento della batteria e rimuovere la linguetta della
batteria.
Operazione
Impostare l'orologio:
1. Inserire la batteria nel compartimento della batteria situato sul retro dell'unità.
2. Per impostare l'orologio, far scivolare l'interruttore CLOCK/SWITCH in posizione CLOCK.
3. Selezionare il formato 12 ore o 24 ore.
4. Far scivolare l'interruttore SET/LOCK situato sul retro dell'unità su SET. Premere le chiavi HR,
MIN e SEC finché l'orario desiderato venga raggiunto. Far scivolare l'interruttore SET/LOCK in
posizione LOCK.
Conteggio
1. Impostare l'unità in modalità orario facendo scivolare l'interruttore CLOCK/TIMER in posizione
CLOCK.
2. Premere la chiave START/STOP una volta per cominciare il conteggio. Premere la chiava
START/STOP una seconda volta per fermare il conteggio (time-out). Premere la chiave
START/STOP ancora per riprendere il conteggio. Qualunque numero di time-out può essere
preso. Premere CLEAR mentre l'unità sta contando per resettare l'unità a 00:00 00.
3. Il conteggio è mostrato nella porzione inferiore dello schermo. Quando 19:59:59 viene raggiunto,
il timer tornerà a 00:00 00 e riprenderà a contare nuovamente.
Conto alla rovescia
1. Posizionare l'unità in modalità timer spostando l'interruttore CLOCK/TIMER in posizione TIMER.
Spostare l'interruttore in T1 per impostare il canale 1 e T2 per impostare il canale 2. Far scorrere
l'interruttore SET/LOCK situato sul retro dell'unità in posizione SET.

2. Premere le chiavi HR, MIN o SEC finché venga raggiunto l'orario desiderato. Premere la chiave
MEMORY una volta. “MEMORY” apparirà sullo schermo. Far scorrere l'interruttore SET/LOCK in
posizione LOCK. Per far tornare il periodo di tempo salvato, premere la chiave MEMORY.
3. Premere la chiave START/STOP una volta per incominciare il conteggio. Premere START/STOP
una seconda volta per fermare il conteggio (time-out). Premere la chiave START/STOP ancora
per riprendere il conteggio. Qualunque numero di time-out può essere preso. Premere CLEAR
mentre l'unità sta contando per resettare l'unità a 00:00 00.
4. La porzione superiore dello schermo mostrerà il canale uno, la porzione inferiore dello schermo
mostrerà il canale due. Per visualizzare entrambi i canali simultaneamente, spostare l'interruttore
CLOCK/TIMER in posizione TIMER 1 & 2 .
5. Quando 00:00 00 venga raggiunto, il timer squillerà e comincerà a contare. “TIME'S UP”
lampeggerà nella porzione sinistra superiore dello schermo per il canale appropriato. Per zittire
l'allarme e fermare il conteggio, premere la chiave START7STOP.
Risoluzione problemi
Batteria scarica
Uno schermo irregolare, schermo sfocato, nessuno schermo o sullo schermo appaiono segni che la
batteria necessita di essere sostituita. Per sostituire la batteria, rimuovere la copertura delle batterie
situata sul retro dell'unità ed inserire una nuova pila AAA. Batterie installate incorrettamente
potrebbero danneggiare l'apparecchio. Riposizionare la copertura delle batterie.
Tutte le difficoltà operazionali
Se l'unità non dovesse funzionare adeguatamente per qualunque ragione, sostituire le batterie con
delle nuove batterie alkaline 1.5 Volt AAA (vedere la sezione “Sostituzione batterie”). Batterie scariche
possono occasionalmente causare un numero di “apparenti” difficoltà operazionali. Sostituire le
batterie con delle nuove risolverà la maggior parte delle difficoltà.

Primeiros passos
Antes de utilizar este cronometro, abra o compartimento da pilha e remova a lingueta da pilha.
Funcionamento
Definir o relógio:
1. Insira a pilha no compartimento da pilha localizo na parte traseira do dispositivo.
2. Para definir o relógio, Deslize o interruptor CLOCK/TIMER até CLOCK.
3. Selecione o formato 12 horas ou 24 horas
4. Deslize o interruptor SET/LOCK localizo na parte traseira até SET. Pressione as teclas HR, MIN
e SEC até que o tempo desejado seja alcançado. pressione a tecla SET/LOCK até a posição
LOCK.
Contagem progressiva
1. Ponha o dispositivo no modo “clock” deslizando o interruptor CLOCK/TIMER até a posição
CLOCK.
2. Pressione a tecla START/STOP uma vez para começar a contagem. pressione a tecla
START/STOP uma vez mais para parar a contagem (time-out). Pressione a tecla START/STOP
uma vez mais para retomar a contagem. E possível parar a contagem quantas vezes desejar.
Pressione a tecla CLEAR quando a contagem está parada para reiniciar o dispositivo na posição
00:00:00.
3. A leitura da contagem se visualiza na parte inferior do ecrã. Quando a leitura alcança 19:59:59, o
cronometro se auto reiniciará na posição 00:00:00 e retomará a contagem desde o inicio.
Contagem regressiva
1. Ponha o dispositivo no modo “timer” deslizando o interruptor CLOCK/TIMER até a posição
TIMER. Deslize o interruptor até T1 para definir o canal 1 ou até T2 para definir o canal 2.

Deslize o interruptor SET/LOCK localizado na parte traseira do dispositivo até a posição SET.
2. Pressione as teclas HR, MIN e SEC até que o tempo desejado seja alcançado. pressione a
tecla MEMORY uma vez. Se visualizará “MEMORY” no ecrã. Deslize o interruptor SET/LOCK
até a posição LOCK. Consulte de novo as leituras registadas, pressione a tecla MEMORY.
3. Pressione a tecla START/STOP uma vez para começar a medição do tempo. Pressione a tecla
START/STOP uma vez mais para parar o cronometro (time-out). Pressione a tecla START/STOP
uma vez mais para retomar o cronometro. E possível parar o cronometro quantas vezes
desejar . Pressione CLEAR quando o cronometro está parado para reiniciar o dispositivo na
posição 00:00:00.
4. Se visualizará na parte superior do ecrã o canal 1. Se visualizará na parte inferior do ecrã o
canal 2. Para visualizar simultaneamente ambos canais, deslize o interruptor CLOCK/TIMER até
a posição TIMER 1 & 2
5. quando se alcança a posição 00:00:00, o alarme do cronometro soará e o cronometro começará
a contagem progressiva. “TIME’S UP” piscará na parte superior esquerda do ecrã no canal
adequado. Para apagar a alarma e deixar a contagem, pressione a tecla START/STOP.
Resolução de problemas
Pilha fraca
Leituras erráticas, visualização débil o ausente, todos indicam que a pilha está fraca e tem de ser
substituída. Para substituir a pilha, retire a tampa do compartimento da pilha na parte traseira da
unidade e coloque una nova pilha de tipo AAA alcalina. Alterna entre milímetros e polegadas Pilhas
colocadas de maneira inadequada podem danificar os dispositivos eletrónicos. Coloque de novo a
tampa.
Outras dificuldades de funcionamento
Se o cronometro não funciona adequadamente, por qualquer motivo, por favor, substituía a pilha com
outra nova de 1,5V AAA alcalina (referir-se á secção “Pilha fraca”). Uma situação de pilha fraca pode
ás vezes ocasionar algumas dificuldades “aparentes” de funcionamento. Substituir a pilha fraca com
nova pilha cheia pode resolver a maioria das dificuldades.
Conformidade com leis e normas locais
O cliente é responsável pela solicitação e obtenção das autorizações regulamentares necessárias ou
outras autorizações necessários para executar ou usar o Produto no seu local de trabalho. A VWR
não assume responsabilidades por omissões relacionadas com este facto ou pela não obtenção da
devida aprovação ou autorização, a não ser que qualquer recusa se deva a um defeito do produto.
Garantia
A VWR garante que este produto está isento de defeitos de material e de fabrico por um período de
dois (2) anos a partir da data de fornecimento. Caso seja detectado um defeito, a VWR irá, a seu
crédito e custos, reparar, substituir ou reembolsar o preço de compra deste produto ao cliente, desde
