3.5 Why using W6 thread and needles is impor-
tant
Even the best overlocker can only sew properly if the thread and needle
are compatible with each other. W6 WERTARBEIT offers compatible,
high-quality products for your overlocker.
Cheap, low quality threads can cause problems during sewing. Therefore,
we recommend using thread tension-friendly and lint-free W6
WERTARBEIT thread. This thread is suitable for sewing, embroidery and
overcasting machines.
An unsuitable needle may break easily, cause threads to break, damage
the sewing yarn or the cause the overlocker to skip stitches. Apart from
this, an unsuitable needle produces unsightly seams, because they force
the thread through the weave instead of allowing it to slide through
smoothly. For your own saftey, always use original W6 WERTARBEIT
needles.
